Humility, are you on the ground in Corsica? O pari Humility017: The camp of the Super Eagles will this evening come alive ahead of their friendly game against Corsica and Togo with as many as seven players expected to be at the camp of the team. Already the home based contingent comprising of Alhassan Ibrahim, Sikiru Olatubosun and Stephen Odey have touched down France, same as FC Porto on loan midfielder Mikel Agu. Watford loanee Uche Agbo has also arrived France, and should be in the camp of the team tonight alongside the aforementioned players. Olarewaju Kayode who holds the honour of Nigeria’s top scorer in Europe this season, joint top with Henry Onyekuru is also in Paris, from where he will connect to the camp of the team. Onyekuru on his part will arrive France from Belgium later today as well, which will bring the number of players in the camp of the team to seven according to our count. The rest of the players are expected to arrive camp by tomorrow morning for the first friendly against Corsica on the 26th before the game against Togo on the 1st of June. Ade Emmanuel |

The good news is, most of our boys are getting minutes on this final day of the season:
Alex Iwobi is on for Arsenal giving a good account of himself. Kelechi is getting some minutes for ManCity and he's putting in a good shift And VicMo started for Chelsea as usual and he's putting on a show as always.

I think he would get playing time at Everton if Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku leave at the end of the season, as being rumored. In addition, the primary reason why I want him to make Everton his first choice, Koeman has demonstrated (at Sothhampton and Everton) that he knows how to develop young players....turn average players into very good ones. Not all coaches can do that. And by the way, wetin happen btw Koeman and Barkley? Do you wanna share? O pari BascoVanVeli: IMO west ham is the best option because he will be sure of playing time. Koeman and Henry is a fight waiting to happen just ask Ross. |

Is he going to West Ham now? Somebody needs to get me this guy's phone number! Why go to West Ham when Everton is interested? A little birdie told me that Ronald Koeman wants to get him as a replacement for Ross Barkley who isn't gonna sign a new contract. And the plan is also get acquire Kelechi to replace Lukaku. My advice to Henry Onyekuru, the off season just started, be patience....take your time and make the best possible decision for your career. O pari TheSuperNerd: Bringing Henry Onyekuru to West Ham would mean Bilic is getting it right again in the transfer market
https://cdn3-i.hitc-s.com/470/west_ham_united_manager_slaven_bilic_347225.jpg
The young Nigerian has been linked with a move to West Ham United .
According to a recent report from Own Goal Nigeria , West Ham United have won the race to sign Henry Onyekuru from Eupen, and if the news is true it would be the best piece of business Hammers boss Slaven Bilic has done in quite some time.
Last summer was supposed to see a number of quality additions arrive at the London Stadium to supplement the likes of Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini. Instead West Ham fans watched bemused as the likes of Simone Zaza, Havard Nordtveit, Alvaro Arbeloa and Jonathan Calleri turned up.
It was not the impressive transfer window the Hammers faithful were expecting, nor anything close to the previous summer, when Bilic most certainly got it right.
However, if West Ham do indeed bring Onyekuru to the club it would be a very encouraging sign for the rest of the window.
After all, the 19-year-old is one of the most exciting teenagers in European football right now, scoring 22 goals and providing nine assists in 40 matches for his current club this season. article continues below
Predominantly a left winger but also able to operate on the opposite flank, as a secondary striker or a centre forward, the young Nigerian is the real deal, and his early arrival would lay down a marker for the signings to come.
He may not be the biggest name yet he has bags of potential, and the great and the good of football will know that.
It is time Bilic started building a side that can be successful for years to come, and Onyekuru's capture could be key to that endeavor.

At least Onyekuru has successfully played against defenders in a professional league, the Belgian league is one of the best in Europe, so I don't know how you can refer to them as 'backwater' defenders.
Osimhen on the other hand only has experience at age grade level, he is yet to face backwater defenders sef, just because he's in Germany doesn't make him better than Onyekuru for now, bear in mind, Onyekuru is just a year older.
If you must compare him, why don't you do so against the likes of Moses Simon who plays against the same 'backwater defenders', but still doesn't have 23 goals to his name? |

I totally agree with Success. That's why I still can't understand why/how Pep Guardiola didn't want to play Kelechi with Aguero. It doesn't take a genius to know that Kelechi's best position is playing behind the out and out striker. But he can play as a top striker too. Anywhere you play him, he will definitely get goals for you. O pari BascoVanVeli: Watford winger Isaac Success labels Manchester City's Kelechi Iheanacho as the best he's played with
By Hertfordshire Mercury | Posted: May 17, 2017 By Matt Storey HIGH PRAISE: Isaac Success believes Iheanacho is the best he's played with
Watford winger Isaac Success believes Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho is the best footballer he has played with.
The duo played together in Nigeria's youth teams and have now both broken into the Super Eagles' senior squad.
Despite the high praise, Success believes the 20-year-old's best position is as the support striker, not the number nine type role he's been used in more often at City.
"I have played in Spain, I am playing here (England) now but I haven't had the chance to play with a lot of teams here," Success told SuperSport. Read more: Transfer talk: Newcastle and Crystal Palace join Watford in race for Greek keeper
"In general the best player I have played with is Kelechi, the partnership was just superb. It was just so good.
"You can enjoy Kelechi more as a support striker because he is a creative player and a player that can make a difference anytime with assists or clear chances that he can always covert. You can't take that from him."
Iheanacho, like Success at Watford, has struggled for regular games this year and reports suggest he could leave the club this summer.

https://owngoalnigeria.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/image-53.jpg
Arsenal German defender Shkodran Mustafi has hailed the contribution of Arsenal Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi in their 3-0 win over Sunderland in the English Premier League.
Iwobi was introduced in the 69th minutes, and according to Mustafi he brought about urgency in the play of Sunderland which unsettled their defence for Alexis Sanchez who got both goals for Arsenal to strike.
” Some of us have obviously played lot of games and it was telling as the game progressed. Iwobi’s introduction helped us move the ball quicker and you can tell it helped us in getting the goal”, Mustafi said.
“It wasn’t easy, even though Sunderland knew they were already going down but you have to play those games. It isn’t easy when you play every three days, you get tired as well. We had a lot of opportunities and we made it a bit harder than it was, but we got the important three points [in the end].”
