Me sef, it pains me to see the digs, but if I were in Kelechi's shoes and I saw these digs, do you know what I would do? I would call up my agent and tell him I want to leave.

That is the purpose of the digs, let him be pissed off, let him feel sad and angry enough to want to get out of that limbo he has found himself.

If all the nice talk achieved nothing, then by all means, sling mud at him until he gets his head in the phucking game and realises the only way to stay relevant in football is to stay on the pitch

In fact, let Rohr call up Onyekuru for the France camp, throw Kelechi in the reserve team and le him know that he will only get his place back when he starts kicking balls in actual games cuz right now, he's no better than people who play football on PES

OK, let me understand, are you saying that because you saw "a pic of Nacho with Pep", it means that Nacho has a wonderful relationship with Pep? Wow...wow...wow!!!

Why do natives always think in this absurd way, eh? This is exactly the thought process that has gotten a vast majority of Africans in trouble at their workplaces here in the US: "Oh, they would never fire me because my boss likes me." Then they would go and misbehave. And I mean, the first slightest mistake, and they are outta there! And I have seen this happen over and over and over again.

In fact, our people's naivete is beyond comprehension!

Listen to me, Pep doesn't give a hoot about Nacho. My sources informed me that there have been substantive allegations of racism against Pep, right from his Barca days. And his battle with Yaya Toure (coupled with his treatment of Nacho) actually substantiate that allegation. Hence, for Nacho to play under Pep then he has to be substantially better than the likes of Aguero, Navas, Nolito, Jesus, and Sterling. And I don't see that happening. Hence, his best option is to request a transfer ASAP!

Believe me at first I was excited with the prospects of Nacho learning under pep... but I also thought playing time will also come as part of the whole pep-nacho relationship but since this year began... that is not the case.

A few years ago, I would've taken Omeruo over Cahill but those days are long gone. Only Jose Mourinho can say why he didn't bring Kenneth to Chelsea in 2013. Yes, he was good enough to play for Chelsea at that time. Many of these loan spells haven't really helped him game progressed at all.

Tammy Abraham Ranked Chelsea's Top Player, Super Eagles Star Omeruo Ninth

https://allnigeriasoccer.com/football_pics/94754Omeruo.jpg

England U21 international of Nigerian descent Tammy Abraham has been rated the top Chelsea player loaned out this season.

Squawka.com has ranked all the 37 players on loan based on their performances for their temporary clubs, and three players of Nigerian descent made their list.

Current Chelsea Academy Player of the Year Fikayo Tomori ranked 19th on the list. The central defender or full back joined Premier League new boys Brighton and Hove Albion in the January transfer window and has featured in seven games.

In ninth position is Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo, who has flourished in the Turkish Super Lig with Alanyaspor, where he has made 22 appearances.

Of the three Nigerian players mentioned, he is the only one yet to debut for the first team of Chelsea. Omeruo ranked higher than Ghanaian stars Christian Atsu and Baba Rahman.

The top dog is Bristol City striker Tammy Abraham. The tall striker is the second top scorer in the Championship with 23 goals to his name.

Abraham could be playing in the Premier League next season, perhaps not with Chelsea, as Newcastle United, Everton and Leicester City are keeping tabs on his availability.

The Nigeria Football Federation gets financial boost

The Nigeria Football Federation has had financial difficulties in recent years with coaches and players often going months without being paid

The cash-strapped Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has received a financial boost from an energy company worth around US$9.2 million over the next five years.

The deal with the Aiteo Group will commence on 1 May.

"This will make it easier for us to plan adequately for our national teams," NFF boss Amaju Pinnick said.

"It is important to note that this will also take care of the national team coaches' salaries."

Pinnick hopes that this means no repeats of problems paying national team coaches that has troubled the NFF in the past.

"There will be no owing of coaches for the next five years," he added.

"This lucrative deal with Aiteo will cover all the national teams and has an option of a one-year extension."

"We are happy to have a sponsor come in at this crucial time and this is a big boost for our football."

Former Nigeria coaches Christian Chukwu, Shaibu Amodu,
Samson Siasia, Austin Eguavoen, Sunday Oliseh and the late Stephen Keshi have all previously complained about outstanding salaries in recent years.

IWOBI A VICTIM OF ARSENAL SLUMP BUT SAYS HE HAS EXPERIENCED 'WORSE'

https://images.performgroup.com/di/library/GOAL_INTERNATIONAL/16/cc/alex-iwobi_/c5oi7zpm1ad91xuds4bzd53sj.jpg

Alex Iwobi has been a victim of Arsenal’s recent struggles but insists that he has gone through “worse” and that he remains positive.

The Nigeria international saw plenty of competitive minutes at the start of the 2016-17 campaign, but has seen his game time dwindle as Arsene Wenger’s side hit a serious slump.

The 20-year-old has not figured since April 2 and recently dropped back into the U23 ranks, forcing him to miss out on the matchday squad for a meeting with Crystal Palace.

Iwobi is refusing to get downbeat, though, with the promising forward able to draw on past experiences, such as almost being released in his teens, to put his current situation into perspective.

“My journey so far has been a bumpy ride, so it’s something I look back on and say to myself,” he said in Arsenal’s matchday programme for Wednesday’s Premier League clash with Leicester.

https://images.performgroup.com/di/library/GOAL/5c/14/alex-iwobi-arsene-wenger-arsenal_12ipb6492g63p156p703su8dq1.jpg

“If I can overcome things that I believe were worse than what’s going on now, then surely I should be able to overcome this.

“It’s tough, especially for the ones who almost get released, which I unfortunately had to go through. It makes you stronger.

“If you’re good enough and you apply the work that needs to be done and put in maximum effort then you’ll come through.”

Iwobi is not the only one to have experienced a testing spell this season, with Wenger and a number of his senior stars coming in for criticism as Arsenal’s season threatened to implode.

They have been able to get back on track with victory over Middlesbrough and a FA Cup semi-final win against Manchester City, with everyone connected with the club now building towards a brighter future.

https://images.performgroup.com/di/library/GOAL/b0/50/granit-xhaka-arsenal-fa-cup_1pikwuc8tndi917q35yctuomb1.jpg

“I’m the type of person who likes to keep moving forward,” added Iwobi.

“You have to improve day by day and obviously we’re not doing as well as we believe we should be doing, so when the next challenge comes up we have to try to prove to the fans and prove to everyone at Arsenal what we can do.

“We have some big games coming up, so everyone should be pumped up. We need to prove ourselves in these games.

“We have to prove to everyone that we can play against these top teams.”

Arsenal face Leicester sat seventh in the Premier League table, seven points adrift of Manchester City and the final Champions League spot.

Some of you morons keep harping on "lack of international trophy" to belittle Messi's achievement.

Listen, lack of international trophy for Argentina DOES NOT and CANNOT dent Messi's place in history as the GREATEST OF ALL TIME (G-0-A-T) because football is a team sports. It takes 11 players (and a good coach) to win. No player has ever done it by himself. Please don't blame Messi if the Argentine FA refuses to get their house in order.
