According to the Daily Mail, Bournemouth, Liverpool and Southampton have been scouting Eupen star Henry Onyekuru, rivalling Celtic for his signature.


Onyekuru, 19, joined Belgian side Eupen from the Aspire Academy in the summer of 2015, and scored six goals in 19 appearances to help them win promotion to the top flight.


The attacker has really shot to prominence this season though, racking up an impressive 17 goals and seven assists in 33 games in all competitions, attracting major interest in the process.


Capable of playing out wide or up front, the pacey Nigerian has taken Belgian football by storm, and the Daily Mail report that Liverpool – as well as Premier League rivals Bournemouth and Southampton – have been scouting him of late.


The teenager looks set for a big move this summer, as whilst Eupen managed to keep hold of their star man in January, Onyekuru went AWOL in a bid to force a move, and will surely move on this time around.


Liverpool are looking for depth in attack, with a speedy winger needed to offer cover and competition for Sadio Mane on the right hand side of Jurgen Klopp's attacking trident – and Onyekuru fits the bill.

He has not been able to cut it beyond youth football, in this regard I do not rate him. He is simply using the branding of Arsenal to gain leverage.

I totally agree with you on Akpom. On current form, I don't see him displacing anybody in the Super Eagles team today. In as much as we need to cap these guys, I think we ought to wait until they get regular playing time in their various clubs before we anoint them, as the best thing since slice bread.

The Super Eagles shirt should be E-A-R-N-E-D, not gifted.

Belgian club Gent have placed a €20m price tag on their Nigerian winger Moses Simon to ward off potential suitors from the English Premier League, according to Belgian outlet Het Nieuwsblad.


West Bromwich Albion are reportedly plotting a summer move for the former AS Trencin star after he was scouted by the club's technical director Nick Hammond while on duty for the Super Eagles in an international friendly against Senegal at Barnet’s Hive Stadium last in March.
