You go fear fear nah! |
He should settle for the senate (Oyo North Senatorial District) or forget it! We told him same in 2011. |
Ok |
Sirniyeh: hello, were you paid to attack people on nairaland? Try to go back to my reply, i said he should have written basically only suggestions and not attacking his colleague who is a president over him.Who are you to curse anyone? Are you cursed? I no get your time, abeg! |
superstar1: Coming from an Igbo person, I was very surprised.Well, that makes the number 1001. |
We already moved on since January 15, 1966. God bless the DEAD! |
In another news, another open letter to the President! Isn't it the season of open letters? |
superstar1: Thank you oo.Lol...I'm sure he's gone back to read the write-up properly, given the rejoinder to his earliest comment! But the writer finish bros Jona no be small oh! |
Sirniyeh: I'm not a PDP member but we must not run away from the fact.Oh! So, you've eventually read the piece? And how did he expose the President's alcoholic and randy nature? Isn't that an open secret known the world over? Leave matter for Mathias, abeg! |
Sirniyeh: I took my time to read all. Well, for spending such time to write such epistle of emologomasnism, you proved yourself to be PHD holder. If you truly read the entire piece as claimed and did not see the writer's suggested way-forward, then you're an epic fail or at best, a product of Nigeria's failed standard of education. Why am I not surprised? Isn't the President a supposed Ph.D holder? |
Dirge for the President! |
Eko o ni baje o!!! |
Merry Xmas Dubai! |
Thanks @justi4jesu and ogakpatakpata. |
momoohwos: @icon8. Your post is indeed funny. There's just too much unecessary information. You could have easily asked for tourist destinations in the U.A.E.Different strokes for different folks! I provided the "unnecessary" information to avoid going back and forth and having to provide additional information later. I thought it was necessary to be specific so that whoever is willing to provide me with the desired information would have a fair idea of my itinerary. Anyways, like someone earlier teased, I'll get myself a tour guide. I thought the thread was meant to guide tourists not familiar with the UAE, no? Asking for tourist destinations in the UAE is like a foreigner planning to visit Ikeja asking loosely for tourist sites in Nigeria. Is he willing to visit Calabar, Abuja or PH? Thanks all the same, I'm out! |
nattybanta: Very funny lol what are tour guide meant for?Really? My enquiry is funny?? |
Hi all, I'll be in Dubai with my family for a few days from December 25. Any suggestions on tourist attractions that would be worth our while? We'll be staying in Bur Dubai for 3 days, then Deira for another 3 days. We also plan to visit Abu Dhabi briefly and return to Dubai same day. Thanks! |

It was an august occasion! |
OMA4U: Thanks to those who commented.Very well then...I'll be as brief as possible. I started out as a keen follower of events, having discovered my natural dislike for injustice (suffice to state I have an incurable penchant for challenging the status quo). After one year of understudying the campus activism terrain and trends, I decided to take a shot at the Students' Parliament (known then as the SRC). The victory was a landslide and my first sitting in the parliament was not without events, as I had crammed the entire constitution over the week leading to the sitting, as well as some big big grammar to announce my foray into activism. That earned me some accolades and instant approval cum followership within the "house" membership and amongst observers. That was to mark the beginning of a long spell in the parliament, spanning three parliamentary sessions, the last of which saw me becoming the "House Leader" (I had become the "Majority Leader" the previous year). Two years later, I was to become the "Speaker" of the House, but my gut feelings told me to rather take a shot at the "Presidency". I followed my instincts and vied but lost the presidential election in a controversial manner (that would be a long story for another day). I returned to the Parliament as the House Leader, this time representing my hostel constituency (as against representing my department as was the case in the previous two sessions). I was only in the parliament that session to while away time and re-strategize for the next election which came too sudden. I re-contested for the Presidency and won convincingly, as the vote cast for me alone was more than twice the sum of the six other aspirants' votes put together. My Presidency wasn't without its challenges (from the authorities, opposition, community, NPF, SSS, etc), but I'll say it was largely a success. I stepped down after a year (at the expiration of my tenure), although I was unable to hand over to a successor, as the election conducted to elect a successor was deadlocked, and the "Union" was subsequently proscribed! *SAD* |
xtenxive: Intend to write Prince 2, please will like to contact you for advise on how to go about preparing.I've replied your mail. Wish you the best! |
Project Management skills and certification. I recently got PRINCE2 certified (Practitioner). Leadership and Innovation (I further honed my skills in this aspect this year). Family (stayed home with family more this year). |
Making the mistake of not heeding this advice was IBB's greatest undoing and marked the beginning of his freefall, as he would go ahead to annul the June 12, 1993 election that followed, which was the last straw that broke the camel's back. I believe it's not too late for Jonathan to retrace his steps and re-strategize. To retreat is not a sign of weakness. Discretion, they say, is the better part of valour! |

You go fear fear na ![]() |
Let's hope another "accident" doesn't truncate the "call-off" process! |
I participated in campus "activism", not politics! If this is what you meant, I'll be back to share my experience... Amandla Ngawhetu!!! |
Great one there, from a great mind! Struck a chord with me... |
Thanks for the info. |
Kairoseki77: What has he been putting on your face to make it change?Igbo spArm...serious rubbing!!! |
So, Akpabio now acknowledges the fact that the number of PDP governors is now 17 or 18 at best? |
