Even the state Deputy Governor no de earn 140k. But Seriously, a lot of these inefficient states should be merged.

I mostly refuse the urge to respond to this kind of statement but I will make an exception here.
I left the state civil service of Gombe last year and was earning well over that amount op quoted and there are plenty other jobs paying more that the government there.

Plus, Google and find out the state of insecurity in gombe, it is safer than most states at the moment.

Let's try and give objective and factual statements and opinions rather than sentimental baseless arguments, that was part of the reasons we went to school.

Of course I changed jobs from a state civil service to an international organization, transition took about 10 years, with a lot of self development and volunteering.

My last job was paying me 98k, my current job pays 500k....... My village people lost both the battle and the war.

As funny as this looks, it gives you an insight to the kind of schools we have in this country. For a child of this age to think and act like this shows the norm of the school. Still praying and waiting for a better tomorrow.

It is usually a requirement to know what you are currently earning so as to determine first if they can pay you. It is also the basis for salary negotiation, some organization give you 5% above your current pay and others 10%.

So op, for future interviews, please say what you earn, and when you are asked what your salary expectations are, kindly diplomatically say it too. You can check out HR's questions and how to answer them.

UN humanitarian coordinator in Nigeria Edward Kallon said both the fatalities and several others who were injured in the attack were on the ground.

“A UN Humanitarian Air Service helicopter was hit by bullets during the attack. No aid workers were on board at the time and crew members are all safe,” Kallon said in a statement.

A UN communication seen by AFP said the aircraft was shot as it approached Damasak and the pilots managed to fly back to regional capital Maiduguri 150 kilometres (90 miles) away.




Very Confusing and Conflicting news...

It didn't affect any major part of the aircraft, that's why they could fly it back. Those killed where people at Damasak where the flight was headed to.

The bullets did no major harm to the aircraft, that's why they were able to fly back. It is about an hour flight

Yes, i can confirm dat dia's ws a blast in gombe and sporadic gunshots were heard, though details are nt available as to their target n casualty. Bt its believed that the prison ws their target
