Abeg, I need help with Epik.

I just sold a domain registered with Namecheap.com. I contacted Tony and he asked me to push it to their Namecheap account which I did. I even got a successful mail from Epik.

And the domain is no longer in my namecheap account.

But Epik just mailed me that I should push my domain within my Epik account, I followed the link in the mail then I realised I will pay $8.49 to push the domain.

Please, is this how it is done on Epik?

Don't know much about that but If you have the money pay and have your transaction completed. If you don't currently have the money, you could suggest they add it to their commission. You're also at liberty to ask them the reason for the $8.49 fee

He doesn't outbound for such names, he sits on it, and wait till they come looking for it by themselves and you know what that means, more bargaining power.

And he prices his domains based on how much those companies can afford to spend on a domain (dude does a perfect research before buying domains).

And please don't try to do like him.

And if you follow him closely you will understand that his business is not like we are doing here. He spends tons on scripts, tools and softwares.

Added to this, Abdulbasit has about 4 thousand quality domain names and one of his friends has 25 thousand. And he says he doesn't believe in registering new domain, he registers only one new domain per year and sometimes he doesn't bother at all. He only buys aged domain that he believes customers would come knocking sooner or later.

There's no way you have such numbers and quality without making a substantial sale every month. It's not rocket science.

It's better you don't message the end user again and move on. A lot of this end users change their mind easily. It could be because they consulted their web guy, they've spent the money that they wanted to use to buy the domain or many other reasons.

It could also be that he sent the end user too many messages or sometimes, obvious signs of desperation for a sale on the part of the seller put some end users off
