Lol

This id ridiculous

They can't arrest Hushpuppi, he is based in Dubai, Nigeria has no jurisdiction. The whole world knows Regina's money is from a prominent politician.

You think these shady business men don't have companies that are fronts for their illegal activities? You think they aren't working with politicians?

E-money and Hushpuppi are just babies in this corruption game, there are higher powers at play and they are the ones you are expecting to suspend rule of law and arrest their lackeys.

una never start
We are talking generally about excessive display of wealth by Nigerians, esp by those whose sources of income are questionable, which in turn negatively impact the young ones

Honestly, same happened to me. I always felt diasporans are exaggerating about the state of Nigeria but when I relocated i got the true picture. Even if i want to return by false, how will my kid cope?? They will be "mumu" and not smart in Nigeria definition if they return

When I relocated to Dubai and started looking for job, the first thing I did was to remove any traces of Nigeria from my resume. I got a job in a very good company just after a week.I know I must get a new passport even if its saving money to buy from another third world. I did not really realise we are terrible as this until I left Nigeria.
I can't even stay in area where there are so many Nigerians. If you like say I am not proud of my country but Nigeria just dey disgrace person..
I now understand why a former school mate of mine, who is currently living in Canada told me he can't come back here ever again. I asked him why and he said its only if I'm out of the country I would understand

Don't you know we are in love with corruption?
I understand you but it can still be done by a leader who's firm and ready to break barriers to get results. I read a lot about former Singapore Prime Minister Lee kuan Yew. In one of the books, it was said that in some instances, he would disobey the law to pass his vision across and set the country on the path of prosperity and progress. It all depends on leadership

We always think we are too sharp.

We worship money and believe all wealthyl people are worthy of their money and praises.

We aren't logical or scientific. Rather we are superstitious, diabolical and often cruel.

Politics and tribal slurs have become our latest craze.

Shedding of blood means nothing - cultists at young level, ritualists at mid level and Boko Haram at higher levels.

Images of success are not the likes of young entrepreneurs but the likes of Otunba Cash, E-money, Hushpuppi etc.
What industry they are involved in is always shrouded in mystery.

The suffer never start.
Why can't the state for once and perhaps, suspend the so-called Rule of Law in this instance and arrest, let's say E-money, Hushpuppi, Reginald Daniels, and the likes and possibly seize their properties if they can't
convincingly explain or account how they legitimately got them? I support the state to crush them ruthlessly to serve as deterrent to others. Even the owners of Media Houses that give them publicity must be punished because it affects the young ones psychological but sadly, the state doesn't care.

I don't think this society can grow and develop the way it's currently structured

Nigeria image is being battered everyday by our compatriots and it's getting out of hand. This is making things difficult for genuine travellers. Something must be done urgently to curb the rate of crime and 'I must make it fast and show off' attitude of our people.

The rate of crime and evil in our society is caused by the failure of parents to train their children the way our forefathers trained their children. I'm a Christian, baptized and confirmed. But I would outrighty ban or regulate religious activities in the country if I were in charge of the affairs of this country because I personally think the proliferation of religious houses hasn't done a thing to make our society better. I don't care if I'm killed in the process.

I remember having a conversation with a foreign lady online, she asked where I was from and I said Nigeria. She immediately told me Nigerians are too intelligent and smart, that she can't have any dealings with people from that country and that was the end of it. It's pathetic!

Why are you embarrassing yourself?

This CCT act you are talking about does not exist. This thing you speak of was the amendment act Saraki and the National assembly tried to pass after his attempt to take control of CCT during his trial but was not signed by Buhari into law. You keep mentioning it here and there but it negates the rule of law.

The CCB act says you must fill the asset declaration forms withing 3 months of assuming office or every 4years in office and at expiry of tenure.

There is nothing about giving you other forms. Just because you made obmission and it was brought to your notice. That was Saraki's proposal which didnt work.
You're the one embarrassing yourself because you know nothing about the contents of the CCB Act as it pertains what we are discussing

This dubious, premeditated, fraudulent and remote-controled judgement by Danladi Umar would be thrown out by the Supreme Court. You can't break the law to punish someone just because you don't want him. There's a laid down procedure to follow before a judicial officer can be tried. Umar can't say he's trying Onnoghen as a Public Officer but not as a Judicial Officer. Is it possible for him to be the Chief Judge without first being a judge? Can one even tried the Army Chief, who is even a 'lesser' Public Officer than the Chief Justice of Nigeria and also an appointee of the President, without following the procedure laid down by the Military?

The beer parlour judgement by the kangaroo court will not stand

He said he forgot then what they would have done is to have shown his office some respect present a new form for him to properly declare his asset but naaaah the evil APC and PMB went to the public straight just to tarnish his image. How many of APC member in PMB govt have a properly declared asset form.
He did in 2016 and a new form was given to him and he voluntarily supplied all the information. The CCB Act says if, as a Public Officer, you forget to declare your assets in full, then you can admit the error, collect another form, fill and submit. The moment you do that you're innocent and not supposed to be referred to CCT. The Government violated her own laws just to punish Onnoghen
