Nobody really knows where those excess votes came from as long as the ones being carried by Uzodinma are valid.

No one can blame Uzodinma for INEC's incompetence.

Worse case scenario is that the election will be repeated.

The worst part of the judgment was that victory was given to hope who was never a flag bearer of any party. It will interest you to know that okoracha's son in-law Uche Nwosu was the flag bearer of both APC and AA that was why his pettision was thrown out because he does not have any locus standing to bring a suit in court so says Supreme Court December 2019. Even if an election is ordered APC and AA will not participate.

If it's only Pdp and APC that contested as shown in your data posted then Diri met the cuts in all the lga because he now has the highest votes when compared to other parties if they ever exist as a result of cancelled APC votes remaimber APC did not take part in the election so said the court.

Don't be in a rush to state that others don't know the workings of the constitution, believe me I have a sound knowledge of the workings of our laws. You that has sound knowledge of our constitution please answer this question..
is 25percent threshold adduced from cancelled votes or total votes(including voided votes) or valid votes in the election?.
Before you answer me, I will answer the question above. The 25percent threshold can only be carried out on votes valid votes (in this case those votes accrued to other parties excluding cancelled votes of APC because the court said they did not participate in the election ) . There will be no rerun as you claimed, just watch out INEC will meet this morning to issue Diri return certificate.
Mr 'Understand the Constitution ' watch as Diri will be sworn .....

You can't change the law at the eve of a ruling ,he can only change if the time of substitution of candidates has not elasped. The funny thing in all of these is that some people raised this objection abinitio but they neglected it thinking its an opposing powers within the party ranks. It's really pathetic, I still maintain this whole anger should be vented on the party's screening committee that did no job because of imposition of candidates.This will serve as a wake up call to all these party leaders to do the needful.

Are u making this assertion after cancelling David Lyon's votes and making new percentile of the remaining ? I think no, if u did u would not make this statement because Lyon's votes was invalidated by Supreme Court.

WI Ryan don't know why party apologists will vent their anger towards a panel led by justice Mary Odili when APC party heirachy got it all wrong when they imposed a fraudulent person on the the people. Believe me those party Big wigs knew abnitio what the young man did but in their desire to improve the educational qualification of the joint ticket considering that Lyon had no degree certificate they allowed the whole process to go unchecked. That decision was the biggest blunder in Nigeria's democratic years. All these anger should be vented on the screening committee chairman who in conivance with the National Party chairman and state leader of the party brought in some one with K-leg. Fortunately, the Supreme Court has corrected the K-leg, I see this judgement as landmark simply because I am an advocate of due process and due diligence. Parties henceforth will do the needful in terms of screenshots of candidates as well as other agents of governments doing the same. Misplaced priority, what we need is to provide our scientist with the best work station, the best lab that can be comparable with what is obtainable in the US, EU and UK as well as good pay to go with it. Question is, was this supposed to cost the party the seat? People supposedly voted the party not the contestants, so the person who should be declared winner should be the runner up in the APC primaries. This all seems like a facade

if the judgement had come before the deadline for the substitution of names, the Deputy Gov candidate would have been substituted. since this case was a pre-election matter the Deputy was disqualified for substantial non compliance to statutory laws. Remember that the law stipulates that a party stands nominated as a ticket when the two candidates are validly nominated by the parties. Once one nomination becomes invalid, it therefor means the ticket was not properly nominated. It is disheartening to note that our politicians are nothing to right home after, they carried out their activities in negatation to relevant laws of the land, this issue would have been avoided by the party involved if only there was an internal mechanism to scrutinize qualifications tendered by these politicians. Don't be surprised if a court case is ongoing that may be of jeopardy to the kogi state governor as a result of his stupid reasons to register and obtain two voters card. Indeed that's is the reason why this country is backward because fraudsters and lies are located every where in Government, God save us all.

Can someone tell me why he wasn't rushed to the hospital in the first place rather to the police station... Is police station the hospital of choice, it can only happen in Nigeria where a traumatic patient is sent to the station instead of hospital for emergency response to be done ASAP.. very pathetic, we a year's behind. RIP
