Hello Buddies,

Please, I need someone to shed more light on my out bounding process. I created a gmail accounts strickly for domaining only. With those emails, I have sent 426 out bounding emails , across 6 domain names I hand regged, using the sales letter given on the past page of this thread. Out of wish I got just 6 replys, one "unsubscribe", three "undelivered mails", two "how much" (both failed to respond after I quoted $230). . No response from the rest.

I later mailed those two endusers, with reduction price of $150, all to no avail. I am so obsessed with checking of email account from time to time in order to reply clients fast ( you know most of those endusers are always on impulse, judging from things I have read). I felt a bit down, it over two weeks I sent out last email and my bf added salt to injuries by saying that with the way I check emails these days, it seems that I am into yahoo yahoo ( I assumed Invictus Obi saga prompts him so say this)

What do you guys think I should do, should I wait for a bit more and then send the another set of fresh mails? Or I should reg more names??Thanks in advance.

You're on your way to domain selling success already; you may not know this now.
First, domain flipping is all about research and conviction that a domain you buy to
resell will be of value to potential buyers. Now, how do you know in advance what
will add value? The answer is to think of a business idea that fits in with the domain
name. In your outbound, you can always mention this.

Imagine, I send you an email to mention that I've a business for you where every
$1 you invest, you get $100 in return. Will you read that email and be interested?
Your only concern now will be to vet and verify if the business idea is legit!

Secondly, you need patience. In Hebrews 10 verse 36, the bible says "For ye have
need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."
Abraham waited for 25 years before his son Isaac manifested. But you'll not wait for
25 years. Yours is sooner than you imagine!

Thirdly, don't mind your bf. When you hammer legitimately and no police or EFCC is
knocking at your door, he will ask you for your testimony. But by the way, hope
you and your bf are not involved in anything outside the word of God until you say
"I do?"

Fourthly, in domaining, the more the merrier. That's when the anointing of grace
(God's Riches At Christ's Expense) rest on you. Others call it LUCK but I call it
GRACE. Let's do a little Arithmetics here. Imagine you invest in 50 domain names
@$8.99 with NameSilo. That is $449.50. No matter what, you should be able to
sell 2 domain names out of your portfolio.

Even if you sell a domain @$300, that is $600 total income. You've made $150.50
net profit from that first batch of your domain portfolio. It's all about paying it forward.

For my coaching students who are indigent, I always advise them to start affiliate
marketing along with domain flipping or domain investing. You can then invest what you
earn as affiliate commissions into domain business.

Domaining is addictive, if you're not careful you can start registering worthless names. So,
caution yourself in this area too.

Lastly, make sure you have at least 10 potential buyers for a domain name before you
buy or hand register. A probability of 10 percent buyer from 10 potential buyers will
earn you a sale. If nothing happens from your outbound marketing, don't be depressed.
Move on! Inbound marketing can pick it up sooner or later.

I hand registered a domain name in 2012 and did outbound and nothing happened. But
I was not in a hurry. I renewed the domain and in the second year I sold the domain
for $260. From $20 domain registration and renewal fees, I made $260 sale. Not bad if
you ask me. It's all about DOMAIN INVESTING. Period.

In closing, learn, learn and learn everything you need to know about recognizing gems
in domain names. That is where majority of newbies miss it. Look out for trends and go
ahead of the pack.

Please be careful with spellings when registering domain names.
I guess you've WonderSkinCare.com in mind and NOT WanderSkinCare.com
with the letter "a" in the domain.

Most times and for my online businesses I bootstrap. I use several business lines.
This gives me the opportunity to take advantage of every network's promo or
bonus.

For example, MTN welcome back will allow you to buy 1GB data to use
within ONE WEEK for N200. Airtel SmartTrybe allow you to buy 250MB
of data for N25 to use between 12.00a.m to 5.00am. So, for N100 you
make use of 1GB per night if you're a heavy user.

I'm an all-round digital marketer and an old school for that matter. I've been

You don't have to run an Ads(formerly Adwords) campaign. Just create
and pause the campaign.

But you may have to validate your MasterCard or any other acceptable
card by a dollar or so in your billing info when you're signing up.

I was perplexed to discover about this when i saw that most of the end users were using short and cacthy domain names too (Yes, I have done outbounding after I made that post yesterday.)

Well no risk no reward. Good experience comes from bad ones. This experience has anchored with dint to come up with short and catchy domain names now. After spending some hours on ED, I was able to come up with something like "City"LimoService//king (16 characters).

It's not a bad domain name but not too good. It's long (22 characters) and bad
for SEM (search engine marketing). Again, I did a quick search on Google Keyword
Planner and it has no search volume as depicted in the image below.

But a handful of websites are using the exact match search term as your domain. So,
you can find treasure trove from these webmasters of your domain.

Usually, I like working with exact match domain names i.e. keyword domain names, short
and catchy domain names with relatively high CPC (cost per click).

Above all, marketing i.e. outbound marketing can go a long way to get you the right buyer.

No, I don't agree with you on this. We're all learning and I'll teach you
hard tactics of ranking a website or blog in days.

Number 1:
Invest in your business. For example, pay $20 to $100 to a top-notch
press release site and publish a press release for your blog. You'll have
the opportunity to include anchor text links (2 to 3) in your release. Google
news and news sites will carry it.

Search engines need trusted info from reliable sources and they will rank you.
At least as a new blog you can go for long tail keywords and not overly
competitive keywords.

Number 2:
Go and associate with the influencers and bourgeois in digital marketing and
cajole them to mention you and your blog. Their endorsement is all you need
to rank in Google. "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand
before kings; he shall not stand before mean men." (Provers 22: 29).

-product domains
-service domains
-keyword domains
-geo +service (US geo preferred)

Avoid trademarked domains except your dad is a lawyer.

For you to make passive income online with a domain name, you can
do several things with it. First, start a blog on it. You can create
a blog yourself with self-hosted WordPress blog. Create quality content
regularly that targets long tail keyword phrases and publish them on
your blog.

Thereafter, you can monetize it with Google Adsense. If you're religious
(no, FANATIC) about this, you can make between $50 and $100 per day. From
here you'll be able to raise sufficient fund to start a travel agency
company if that is your desire.

Remember, starting a brick-and-mortar company in Nigeria requires a lot
of funds, professional certifications and greasing of government officers'
hands.

Secondly, you can build an authority website with lots of targeted traffic.
Sooner or later, other webmasters will notice you when your web pages
consistently show up for "money keywords" on the first page of popular
search engines such as Google.com, Bing.com, Yahoo.com, etc.

Before you know it, they will start approaching you to sell advertising
spaces on your blog or CPM impressions.

So, my $0.99 tips for you is to buy what endusers would need and the best way to do that is through extensive MARKET RESEARCH and INTENSIVE READING.

I'm thinking of developing a domaining course for the Nigerian market which
spells out everything you need to know about investing in domain
names and websites. There is an art and science to buying and selling domain
names and websites.

A lot of us in Nigeria are approaching this game with the mind of hitting
Mother luck. But a lot forget that LUCK is where Preparation (in domaining
it is Research) meets opportunity.

When you see beauty, you will know. When a potential buyer sees a good
domain, he cannot pass it by especially if you show him what he can do with
it.

Divide $2,700 by 2 = $1,350

Put it at $1,350 and see what happens.

If there is no bite within one week of outbounding
and inbounding expectations, soft pedal and bring it
down a little bit.

But OVERALL RULE IN DOMANING is:
The value/price of a domain is in the eyes of a buyer
who is WILLING and ABLE to pay your asking price.

I thought you are searching for end users who have some particular keywords in their URL(or title), and not making research on the keywords. Anyway, anyone that works for you is better.

Any end-user remotely using your target keyword
must be a potential buyer. You can then extensively
analyze and engage them to see what comes out of

This is not to insult you. It's because you're just starting domain
investing. Software has been existing since time immemorial. I
remember in the hey days when I use PR PowerShot to mine
PR 3 to 5 domain names to flip. I even promoted the Clickbank
product and made some good sales as well.

I can tell you, lots of tech savvy guys develop custom software
for personal use which they never release to the public. Some do
backorder services after analyzing good domain names to catch.

This is why they can confidently pay premium money to get a domain
name when you're into bidding war.

Open Google on another tab of your browser, type in Brooklyn Tax Attorney and hit the search, open up the websites that come up for the search term one by one (one of them is LeburtaxLaw dot com) , locate the "Contact Us" on each of the websites you will see their emails there, something like info@leburtaxlaw.com for example. Hope this help a bit.

You can even do it better. Use quotation marks to get super targeted results
as in the screenshot below. You'll discover end-users with a bias for SEO.

I got only 454 results from my Google search out of curiosity anyway. And only
one name seems to protrude out like a sore thumb in the organic search
results!

Think "relevance" every time you are doing business with
the third party. No fluff! Attach only the domain names
which are relevant to the one in your priority list.

This way, your potential buyer will see the need to get
them from you as well. Don't make anyone feels you're
out to milk them up from their hard-earned money.

Clever and stealth marketing is all you need to succeed.

There is something you're certainly not doing right or you're not doing
at all. Domaining is not stressful. I perceive in my spirit that the majority
of Nigerian domainers are not approaching domain investing as a business.

They see it as quick cash source to become millionaires overnight. It's
not so! First, empower yourself with the knowledge of how to buy and
sell domain names PROFITABLY.

Secondly, be strategic about buying domain names. Get into the minds
of your potential end-users and determine in advance what they are
likely going to bite and you then offer it to them. This is where research
is golden.

Thirdly, I see a lot of us don't ply this route. Build a profitable business,
show it to your potential end-users and you'll be surprised how many of
them will be begging you with their cash. This is a course for another
day!

Potential end-users that you outbound to, if they are savvy enough, they
will understand you want to make fast cash from them. And not everyone
is ever happy when you try to fleece on them.

If you register a domain name at $10 and try to sell it at $20, a lot of people
will still not buy it from you because you've not proved to them that you
have added value. SELL VALUE NOT DOMAINS! I rest my case.

Now you're thinking like a business man. It's not just a good idea
but the BEST IDEA as a domain investor and not domain flipper.

The only challenge is your monthly hosting if you can afford it. If
you cannot afford independent hosting fees, you can tow the cheaper
route by getting a domain name (you'll never sell this domain because
it's your permanent office address on the internet space) and get
free hosting site like blogger.com to host your domain. The cost you'll
only incur for now will be $8.99 or so per year to renew your domain
with, say NameSilo.

As soon as you're convinced that your online business is profitable, you can
move all your files from blogger.com to self-hosted web hosts like HostGator.com
because independent hosting offers you more flexibility to monetize your site
or blog in various ways and earn money online.

All you have to do is to create a web page called "domains for sale" and
begin to list them there, one line per domain. As you sell a domain, delist
it from the page. If someone searches for similar name, you'll come up
in the search engines.

These types of end users/domain buyers are spot-on, willing and ready to buy.

When you create a website for a domain and sell it,
it becomes website flipping. But if you hand register
or buy domain and resell, it is domain flipping.

However, it goes higher and higher when you start
buying great domains, holding it for future value and
sale. This is called domain investing.
