Answer:
This will go beyond the pages of this thread. You need personal coaching and mentoring. But the joy for you is that you already have an established blog that can make $1000 per month online and above for you. Your training needs screenshots and site references that will drive home the points to learn. It is not just possible here. Above all, you have about 1,970 Google indexed pages on your site as at the time of writing this which is good enough. (See the attached iamge below).

An article you published received about 75 Facebook share which is awesome. All you need is to step up the game and roll.

Answer:
Except you're doing PPC (pay per click) advertising, there is no specific way to target specific country in general email marketing. Anybody from any country can find your content cum squeeze page, liked it and still decide to subscribe to it. It is in your content marketing that the distintion is made. Example of 2 articles' titles:

(i) How to make money with affiliate marketing business anywhere in the world (global targeting)
(ii) How to make money with affiliate marketing in Nigeria (country specific targeting)

Readers who find your second article will know that it is a "home-brewed" article for Nigerians.

4. How do I get this "proof of income" as someone just getting started ?

Answer:
For someone just starting out, write from your daily business journal. Tell your readers what you're doing and the results you're getting from your blog. You'll be amazed how your readers will like it and help your business ministry with online business ideas you never would have thought of. I started contributing to another thread in this forum and a member suggested I should open a separate thread to teach digital marketing. Just imagine; someone pushed me to start an online business to earn money online which I was reluctant to do for a long time because I never liked targeting Nigeria market. I didn't show any proof of income to anybody. As they say, "the proof of the pudding is in the eating."

I'm not happy now because of the money I'm making; no! I'm happy hearing fellow Nigerians thanking me effusively because I'm teaching them how to fish. Do you know what this many thank you has done for me? It is spurring me to start an online business school with national appeal.

In another breadth, by first proving it to yourself anything you're doing online, you'll find it easy to sell complementary products and services whether your own or from affiliate programs. With my present experience now, I do $97 dollars coaching or mentoring. But I didn't start at that level few years back. At any point in life, you have an experience that others want to tap into. We call it VLE (valuable life experience). If you're making $100 per month online today, you'll discover that there are a number of people out there who want to make that same amount of money and be happy. The best way I do it is to first prove it to myself so that I'll have the confidence to teach it.

I've one outstanding Nigerian student now from this free and complete digital marketing training thread. By 2.00 a.m. he is sending me his articles to review before it goes to publication. He is so determined that in 3 months from now, he will be financially free from money worries because he is making the sacrifice of DOING. i call myself a business doer because I like proving it to myself before stepping my foot at the door.

In Facebook, create a fan page. It's free. Optimize it and post content regularly to it. Place links (NOT affiliate links) to quality articles and product reviews on your blog. If your readers know, like and trust you, they will click to your website. From your website, the world is your oyster. Do what you like with your affiliate links.

Bros, you're VERY NORMAL. The challenge is we don't hold ourselves accountable to things we do daily. Organizing your life matters. When I was starting an online business many years ago, I said to myself that I want to quit my day job within a year. I decided this when I saw the time freedom it offers.

Every day I come home from work at about 10.00p.m to 11.00pm. I will bath, take a short rest and wake up 2.00 am till dawn. In less than 3 months I was earning more than my employer's salary. Will somebody advise me to resign and face my life squarely? When I lost my father-in-law, I was in their village for weeks without stress. All my sources of income were still running non stop. That is the beauty of passive income online.

For you to make it in life, YOU MUST PAY IT FORWARD. And that is called sacrifice and commitment.

Good morning Ideas Pro and everyone here I've almost finished reading the e-book but the the only thing that seems to cause a bottleneck for me is the major working tool which is a computer, I currently do not have one as my previous one was spoilt beyond a reasonable repair. Can I continue with my phone in regards to those add-ons I should Install to Google chrome or are there similar Android apps to at least get started with?

Try it and see if it works. But do everything to buy a laptop. I know if your phone is bad today, you'll not waste time to replace it. Replace your computer if it is in your interest to earn money online.

Having Android phone is an added advantage. Computer is better. Using your mobile phone for business is like going to a farm with a knife instead of a cutlass. i always advise youths to do first things first. Forget about ego. Instead of buying a phone of N40,000 to N50,000, save and add N50,000 to it to buy a laptop. Use it to make money from home and then buy an Android phone. You'll now have a phone and a laptop.

What do I do sir

The first step I do when I set up list building system for any niche market is to subscribe to it myself and see how it works. I subscribed to your list and you sent me directly to the download page. How do you now communicate with your list members from time to time? I didn’t confirm my email list before getting your free electronic book.

1. What email marketing software or autoresponder are you using?
2. Which market are you targeting with your list building system? Nigeria specifically or Global?

If you’re in the make money online niche, you need “proof of income” and all that to get serious readers to your list. Your blog is good and your free ebook looks great though I’ve not read it. Facebook like every other social media platforms hate affiliate links. But there is a secret and better way to do it without invoking the wrath of these social media.

I'm surprised that after tens of Nairaland members have requested and received the free ebooks, no one is commenting on areas they are getting stuck or are finding easy. Answer to Question 1: I do not know which affiliate platform to use (Amazon, JVzoo, ...). I need expert advise.

The method you use to monetize your blog depends on a number of variables. The niche market you're targeting and the affiliate products you're promoting will mainly decide which platform to use. And in Nigeria, you've to go with platforms that accept Nigerians in Nigeria so that you won't be stuck with fund withdrawal except you have a legitimate way to go round it.

Answer to Question 2: how else can I market my affiliate link?

You can only be limited by your ability, budget, time and creativity. There is paid advertising and "free advertising" in a sense. Social media adverts cost money and it can quickly add up if you don't know how to track your ROI versus advert spend. First, you should learn how to analyze social media ads before you jump in with both feet.

With that said, let’s get cracking.

Let me tell you straight; making money online is not difficult. It’s all about SACRIFICE i.e. ability to pay it forward. How do I mean? Here it is. Nobody (except for impulse buyers) is willing to spend money online buying digital products and services without a strong reason to do so.

With that in mind, don’t go out looking for people to give you money. No; look out for people you can help. As many people you’re able to help, at least 10 percent of them will reciprocate by buying from you or taking action which you require them to take.

Case study

Few months ago, I joined Nairaland forum after recovering from an ailment that took years for me to come out from. Before then, I was very successful in business (both online and offline). When I came, I have to gather myself together to start all over again.

I saw a thread on this forum about domain flipping which I’ve been doing too. I followed that thread, and answered questions to the best of my ability and experience. Some few members noticed my contributions and suggested that I should open a thread on digital marketing since they noticed it’s my forte.

I did keyword research following the steps in this free ebook and created a thread titled “free and complete digital marketing training online.” At this point, I was not in any way all out to make money online. I spent quality time, writing and posting lessons.

Guess what? Members started reaching out to me for personal coaching and direction. Eventually, this turned out to become the low cost digital marketing training I’m offering to only 37 students now. As soon as I reach that number for the digital skills training, I’ll close the door and raise the fee to what it’s worth. This is how to make money online.

In a nutshell, for you to earn money online, do the following:

1. Learn a digital skill that people need,
2. Build a simple website or blog as your business office (you can do it yourself with only $10 investment per year if you don’t have the budget for flamboyant and dynamic website at the moment),
3. Begin to write SEO articles and publish on the blog,
4. Go out to promote your blog and expertise using free methods, and
5. Be willing to help genuinely. When the time comes to make money, you’ll know.

By helping one of my students from this forum, he has to cancel his HostGator web hosting subscription in order to use my affiliate link to buy. That is the law of reciprocity in action. If Adebayo is reading this text, I say a big thank you for that magnanimity. It is a demonstration of love. It’s in helping others that you make money.

Even if you’re selling goods and services online, you must make sure it adds value to your target audience’s lives. Don’t cut corners or be in a hurry to make money online simply because you’ve urgent bills to pay. However, I can assure you that if you’re doing everything right, you can earn money online within 7 days if you’ve the experience and expertise and you’re able to set up your sales funnel up properly with list building in place.
I know this may sound like a treatise to newbies or beginners if you’ve not done online business before. That is why you’ve to invest in your education and your business to learn the ropes. For instance, I’m not tech savvy. But I’ve to learn how to install WordPress blog on my domain names without paying $50 to $100 to freelance web designer every time I discover online business opportunity to test and try out.

So, if you don’t have a job or you’re under employed or hate your job like a plague, starting an online business is the way to go. Without renting a shop or an office space, you can get started with:

1. Personal computer or laptop,
2. Website or blog (requires domain name, website hosting and WordPress blog)
3. Bankable online business idea or opportunity that meets a target market’s needs
4. Ability to toot your horn i.e. promoting your business is the lifeblood of its existence.
5. A coach or mentor (optional). There is free information online by simply doing Google search. A coach just guides you to reduce steep learning curve and hit the ground running in record time.

I’m not saying starting your own business online is as easy as pie. No! But it’s far cheaper than brick-and-mortar business. Also, the time freedom and the ability to scale your business to the next level are the pecks I enjoy on a daily basis.

You can imagine travelling to your village to spend N100,000 and you come back to discover that your internet business earned you N200,000 in absentia! No employer will ever pay your salary when you don’t show up in the office or if you lock up your shop to customers.

That is why I fired my boss many years ago and hired myself to become a lifestyle entrepreneur. Sit down and think about it!
