There are definitely parallels that can be seen between the taboos observed by the Eze Anas in the Nri-Awka axis and those observed by the Eze Nri. That is delegated to an 'official' in his employ, because Eze Nris are gods and gods don't offer sacrifices. So the Eze Nri ranks above priests.
