Olisa Ndah and Ifeanyi Anaemena is the dream NPFL CB pairing. Don't let anyone tell you any different. I would even add Samson Gbadegbo but he is injured. John Lazarus not making the team is a joke.

Samuel Nnoshiri is a young man I have spoken of before. Good technical ability and sweet left foot.

The Enyimba selections not named Anayo and Noble are fraudulent. Seth Mayi AKA the Seth up kid; beautiful touch, excellent dribbler and a keen eye for a pass.

The forwards are loaded although a bunch of good players missed out like Silas Nwankwo for Nasarawa and even Victor Mboama for Enyimba.

Nazifi Yahaya and his captain Idris Guda definitely should have had a shout.
A good consice breakdown of the individual players. Thanks Sir. Bacsco

I am personally interested in the midfield prospects in the team.

Only those born and raised in Jos will understand, the lifestyle of people in Jos was different from anywhere else in Nigeria back then,
every middle class family in Jos raised their children in similar way, there was nothing like tribalism, you will visit your friends house and the only thing their parents will ask you is your first name, they don't care to know if you are igbo, Hausa or Yoruba, or state of origin . we all saw ourselves as J town indigenes,
all kids from middle class family grew up watching same TV programs, playing same type of video games, same type of music, same type of fashion wears, visited same resorts, amusement parks and shared same experience in boarding school Jos is like home to everyone who was born and raised there. If not for the crisis and the tribalism introduced through Internet, not just Mikel but people like MI abaga, Peter and paul okoye Jesse abaga etc will pick Jos over their state of origin, Jos was indeed home
I was born in Jos, too. I love the Tin city but I am still Anambra. Who forgets his roots ? Jos people are too nice, especially to Igbos but that place isn't my ancestral home.

I was born at Jamkwanu general hospital in Jos....infact , my parents speaks their dialect in addition to Hausa. I know what it means to be born and raised there but I will never forget home.

Culture › Re: Yoruba Words And Phrases That Has Gone Global!!(interesting) by IDENNAA(m): 5:30pm On Jun 17, 2021
Oyibo is a proper Igbo name. I have grand mothers born in 18th century named Oyibo. You will never see a Yoruba called Oyibo.

Baba is not a Yoruba original word, it was definitely borrowed.

Wahala was borrowd.

Agbada was borrowed from Senegambia.

Bini borrowed days of week from Igbo.

Igbo groups borrowed Bini sword.

Igbo borrowed Konkosa and Yabass from Hausa.

Its not a bad thing because we all borrow , otherwise we go extinct.

Igala borrowed days of the week from Igbo.

some popular Igbo word gone global...Nna , Nne , Omalicha ,Igwe ,Oyibo , Biko , Ada etc.

Politics › Re: Wait For Us, We Have No Igwe Yet-- Umuoji Begs Obiano by IDENNAA(m): 5:15pm On Jun 15, 2021
okeychris:
Nwa Umuoji Okodu

Following the continued Igweship tussle in Umuoji ancient kingdom where two illustrious sons are laying claim to the traditional stool of the town, concerned indigenes of the community have prevailed on Governor Willie Obiano's led administration to allow the town to exhaust the processes provided by the constitution of the town before issuing certificate to any of contestants.

According to them, it behoves on the Central Executive Council (CEC) to ratify the selection of Igwe and subsequently present to Ndi Umuoji their next traditional ruler, even as they described issuance of certificate to any of the contestants without CEC/Special Assembly ratification as recipe for disaster.

They submitted that failure to allow the CEC which is regarded as the highest decision making body in Umuoji to carry out the task assigned to them by the constitution would distort the peace and progress of the community as well as pit brothers against brothers. They argued that such denial would usher in break down of law and order in the community.

The concerned indigenes had recently at Government House, Awka through a peaceful protest demanded that Chief Sir Kanayo Okoye of Umuechem Village who scored the highest number of votes in May 8th 2021 election organized by Umuoji Improvement Union Nigeria (UIUN) and supervised by Anambra State Government be declared as the authentic winner as the new traditional ruler of Umuoji community, in Idemili North Council Area of Anambra State.

The peaceful protesters who were from the twenty-three villages that make up Umuoji, accompanied by community leaders, village Heads and members of Igwe-In-Council demanded for the issuance of certificate of recognition to Chief Kanayo Okoye who scored the highest number of votes during the Igweship election organized by the State government for the town on eighth May 2021.

During the exercise, the protesters were seen with placards with inscriptions like; “Igwe Umuoji is not for sale”, ” Umuoji want Chief Kanayo Okoye”,” Umuoji demands Kanayo as the Traditional Ruler, among others.

Chief Tochukwu Mmodu who spoke on behalf of others said that during the May eighth election in the community, majority of Umuoji people voted for Chief Kanayo Okoye, which he said made him to win the election.

He expressed displeasure with the shape the event had taken, noting that few individuals were trying to so hard to create unnecessary tension in the community by organizing what he described as a shambolic and kangaroo jamboree in the name of run-off election on June 8th 2021.

Chief Mmodu who described the action as unacceptable by the people of Umuoji community, appealed for immediate intervention of Anambra state government on the matter.

Contributing, the former President General of Umuoji community, Chief Gab Mbanefo and another stakeholder in the town, Chief Ifeanyi Efobi said that Umuoji Traditional stool is not for sale, described imposition of traditional ruler on communities as a taboo in Igbo land, pointing out that Umuoji community is too big to be so treated.

While receiving the peaceful protesters
at the Government House, Awka, Governor Willie Obiano called on various communities across the State to make communal living and peaceful coexistence their watchword.

The governor who spoke through the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu promised to look into their matter.

As a proper onye Umuoji from Mkpu-Ogaliga , Umuoji is not a kingdom because we never practiced monarchy. Maybe ancient but not and never was a kingdom. The selection process has ended, and Chief Muogbo will get the warrant chief cum Igwe.

But you can't take some of these IPOBS too seriously. Nnamdi Kanu planted these ideas in them, but a lot of Igbos including me disagree with most of his views. Everybody knows that Esan are Edoid tribe and belong to the Bini stock. We will not be having an Igbo republic that includes Edoid stock.

I stayed in Bini for 5yrs and lived at 15 Idehen street , by Ohoro road. Many Igbo men living in Bini married more from Esan than Bini women. Igbo people have good relationship with Edoid tribes because we mind our business and respect their traditions.

Bring proofs of these atrocities committed by the Biafran armies or is it another one of those propagandas to tarnish the Igbo image.
