AutosRe: Comparison Between Hyundai 2011 Sonata Vs 2009 Toyota Corolla by idtwo: 5:32pm On Oct 29, 2019
Nigerians are currently hyped over Toyota vehicles. I admit the spare parts are easily accessible even though many of these are fake or imitations, not OEM.
I currently have both Toyota and Hyundai vehicles and I must confess that Hyundai engineering has deeply impressed me. Their cars are well built and genuine OEM parts available, though mainly in Lagos and Abuja.
Fuel economy depends on many factors- engine size, proper maintenance, driving styles etc so that won't be an easy comparative criteria but be that as it may both brands have good fuel economy.
Putting aesthetics, dependability, fuel consumption etc into consideration, I will go for Hyundai. It is truly a good brand from my experience.

Christianity EtcRe: Don't Be Deceived, God Cares About Our Outward Appearance by idtwo: 12:21pm On Sep 29, 2019
God cares about the kind of name we bear too. What sort of name is alBagdadi. The alBagdadi we know is an islamic fundamentalist (ISIS leader). If that is your hero, then you don't know the Christ you profess to speak for. Your message is correct but are you correct? Is your person and standing correct?
Think Mr alBagdadi, think.
alBHAGDADI:
Mathew 23:26
Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

Don't you know that the reason why the outward look is corrupt is because the inward is corrupt? Someone who dresses immorally simply has an immoral heart. If the person should clean the immoral heart, the outward appearance won't look immoral.

God cares more about the content of the heart, but this doesn't mean he doesn't give a damn about the outward appearance. What you have inside your heart is expressed outwardly in your looks. That's why Jesus said in the verse above that we should clean the inside of the cup so that the outside will be clean as well. If the outside looks dirty, there's no way the inside will look clean.

Try to think about the reason why a lady would dress in skimpy or tight clothes that reveal delicate parts of her body. It's not because she just wants to wear clothes. It's because she wants to seduce me and draw immoral attention to herself. The idea to wear such clothes first came from her heart. This shows that the heart is corrupt. The corrupt heart leads her mouth to request for immoral clothes

Luke 6:45
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

The sad part is that such immoral dressing is seen among people who call themselves Christians. Go to church and see ladies dressed like divas from music videos. The guys are seen with sagged trousers and dog chains.

The reason why such exists in Churches today is because of the Pharisees in charge. The Pharisees are seen looking decently dressed in some cases, but their hear is dirty. That is why they allow dirty and immoral people to feel at home in the Church.

Mathew 23:25
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence.

Kindly change your heart and your immoral dressing will change. If your dressing is immoral, it simply means your heart is immoral and not right with God.

I love hyundai products. They are the biggest threat to Toyota as per reliability and performance.
Hyundai for me, any day, any time
I agree with you totally. Hyundai engineering is really superb, just that Nigerians are yet to be in the know as most people are still fixated on Toyota, not knowing that many other manufacturers have upped their game.
Hyundai is a good one any day. The problem of cracked dashboard, as it happens in Toyota, has to be remedied though.

iRyan:
Should we blame God for doing nothing when he could have done something, because its more than likely that they prayed for protection before embarking on that journey
God doesn't owe us nothing same way it has nothing to do with him when people survive accidents. That you are alive today is not because of God or what ever, you are alive because you haven't come in contact with death yet or you have but was just lucky. We are either lucky or not when it comes to being alive; it is as simple as that. We all will eventually die one day
despite our prayers for protection.
Rest in Peace to the family. It is a very tragic situation
Pls just shut up if you don't know what to say. It is because of God's mercies that we have whatever good we can point at. If you lack understanding, at least keep your mouth shut and your fingers off the keyboard.

alBHAGDADI:
I'm glad someone agrees with me. They are lost and have chosen to be lost. That's why I have been hard on them with harsh words just as Jesus was hard on the Jews who rejected him.

The thread was for my fellow Christians, not fakers.
You, with a nickname like Albagdadi; the ISIS leader refer to yourself as a Christian? He is obviously your hero. From your temperament and replies to issues raised, you are obviously full of yourself and not willing to learn from others. You and those praising you are truly deluded but can't see it.
Christianity EtcRe: The Bible Does Not Support Drinking Alcohol, Don't Let Anyone Fool You by idtwo: 3:48pm On Sep 08, 2019
"When they want to be foolish, they rush to the Greek"
I am disappointed albagdadi made the above comment. It seems obvious you are not open to learning, having made up your mind to believe what you perceive as the truth.
We know that proper deep understanding of the Bible depends on the holy Spirit helping one. In addition, it requires scholarship or studying in your part to understand the original language the Bible was written in. TVSA took great care to give you the Greek root word and it's interpretation but you casually brush it off in your comment quoted above, you can't be helped because you aren't ready to learn.
Your argument that one wine is fruit juice is also faulty because it is based on mere conjecture to fit a view you already have/hold.
Well done TVSA & others who wrote logically.

Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Poju Oyemade Reacts To Biodun Fatoyinbo's Rape Allegation by idtwo: 3:20pm On Jul 01, 2019
thesicilian:
So you mean to tell me that you didn't even hear the full story from one of the parties involved, not to talk of both parties, before you started making calls and calling for the pastor to step aside? That is disappointing coming from a supposed Man of God.

One thing I've noticed so far: Those who are truly open minded about the whole issue, those who do not want to support either party until they get the full story, have decided to remain quiet either for fear of media backlash and possible accusations of their own, or simply because they do not want to get involved.
Thank you sir for this apt observation. The way this pastor oyemade spoke, he seemed to have concluded that the other pastor is guilty. I refuse to agree with him. The pastor may or may not be guilty, let this woman prove her case. A woman's tears and cunning can deceive many if care is not taken.
PoliticsRe: Ruga Settlements For Herdsmen: South-East Governors, Ortom, Ishaku, Reject It by idtwo: 2:33pm On Jun 26, 2019
In my opinion, this cattle rearing issues can be easily settled. Give the Fulanis sambisa forest since it is presently of no use to any one. Let them drill several boreholes there, plant grass and rear their cattle there. They are Muslims, speak same language as the boko haram people and have weapons too to confront the boko haram men if they come. The forest is large and needs permanent dwellers/tenants to prevent boko haram from taking it over again.
We can kill many birds with one stone. It will even be easier to tax them when they are all in one place, as it is now, many of them are not even in the tax net.

Car TalkRe: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by idtwo: 10:08pm On Apr 27, 2019
adanny01:
A 5w30 is a multi grade oil. This means that the oil has 2 temperature performance levels of low 5w (0w to 20w) and high 30 (20 to 50).

The fact that Nigeria does not have such cold temps for the 5w does not mean that the entire oil is not valid. The high temp grade of 30 is most important since a car would eventually heat up in less than 20minutes of cold start to between 80-100°c and stay there as long as the engine is running even if the ambient temperature is -50°c. If the 5w is invalid in Nigeria the 30 is valid from the north pole to the south pole and every where you go on this earth.

So just stick to the manufacturers spec.
@adanny01, Respect sir. Thank you for your explanation. I guess the issue is kind of clearer now. Thanks again.
Car TalkRe: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by idtwo: 8:31pm On Apr 27, 2019
Hello experts in the house. Pls help clarify this for me. If a car's recommended engine oil is 5W30, if this car gets to Nigeria where there is no winter and I instead use 20W50, will this in any way affect the engine efficiency? I understand that the '5' in 5W is the oil viscosity at 0°celsius and the temperature here never drop that low. So why use the oil that was recommended in North America? Pls help me understand.

Just make sure the vehicle papers are original, after purchase, get a receipt of payment, a letter of change of ownership from the owner, go to the nearest court, get an affidavit for change of ownership, then go to the nearest police station, with d court affidavit, apply for a statement for change of ownership, pls make sure the vehicle has an authentic proof of ownership, vehicle registration, CMR, road worthiness, and insurance, then head on to where the vehicle registration was issued, if it was issued in festac, or apapa or mushin or ikeja, go back there, get a re-issue in ur name, there and then other documents will be issued to u, the change of ownership will now be in ur name
Hope this is helpful. pls, do not patronize touts
