Show me ONE verse that RECOMMENDS the extant bible to the prophet (saw). Allah says that Muslims are enjoined to believe in the earlier REVEALED scriptures; the fact that there were prophets and that their revelations were from God... eg INJEEL; not letters from Paul to his sheep.

“Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say, “This is from God,” to purchase with it a little price! Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for that they earn thereby” [al-Baqarah 2:79]

Guess which 'book' the above verse is referring to.

I think the problem of you Christians is high level of ignorance. That is why Jesus, according to you bible, says most of his people will perish because they are ignorant.
In Islam, bible is never referred to as the word of God but the Injil. The injil is the scripture revealed to Prophet Isa (Jesus christ) and not the bible. The word Bible is derived from the Greek word biblo, which means collection of books. While the injil, some translate it as Gospel.
That is why you will see in the beginning of the books that comprises the new Testament, "Gospel According to".
Note the word "According To". For instant, Gospel According to Mark.
In English language, the word "According to" means that what so and so says or believed in but not necessarily the person narrating it believed in it. So, the book "Gospel According to Mark,", that is part of the New Testament, is a book written by someone on what Mark believes or narrated of the teachings of Jesus. Such narration is not God's word. If you carefully, without any iota bigotry in you mind and head, study the Qur'an, you will understand the difference between the word of God and words of narration by men, which your bible represents.

saying: There was an argument between Adam and Moses. Moses said to
Adam: You are our father. You did us harm and caused us to get out of
Paradise. Adam said to him: You are Moses. Allah selected you (for
direct conversation with you) and WROTE with HIS OWN HAND the Book
(Torah) for you. Despite this you blame me for an act which Allah had
ordained for me forty years before He created me. Allah's Apostle
(may peace be upon him) said: This is how Adam came the better of
Moses and Adam came the better of Moses. (Muslim, 33.6409)
Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him)
as saying: Adam and Moses held a disputation. Moses said: Adam you
are our father. You deprived us and caused us to come out from
Paradise. Adam said: You are Moses Allah chose you for his speech and
WROTE the Torah for you WITH HIS HAND. Do you blame me for doing a
deed which Allah had decreed that I should do forty year before he
created me? So Adam got the better of Moses in argument. Ahmad b.
Salih said from 'Amr from Tawus who heard Abu Hurairah. (Abi Dawud,
41.4684)
It is hardly surprising then to read the following in Kitab al-Sunna,
which many Muslims believe to have been written by ‘Abduallah b.
Ahmad, the son of the famed Ahmad b. Hanbal, but which in any case
shows how at least some Muslims took teachings of this sort.
"Allah wrote the Torah for Moses with His hand while leaning back on a
rock, on tablets of pearl, and the screech of the quill could be heard.
There was no veil between Him and him," (Vol. 1, p. 294)
So, Allah writes two contradictory books: Qur'an and Bible? This is the
"father" Muslims want us to believe in! The Muslim god is not even a
father to Muslims as he claims to have no children, rather only slaves

confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses)
and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He
sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong) (Surah
3:3).
If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask
those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath
indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt.
And be not thou of those who deny the revelations of Allah, for then
wert thou of the losers (Surah 10:94-95; 16:43)

In Mark 14:61-62, Jesus claimed to be the Son of Man (Daniel 7:13) and
David's Lord (Psalm 110:1) and in several other places. We know this, he is also called Son of God in dozens of other places. Jesus was on earth BOTH human and divine.

Jesus helped people who called him Lord, and never rebuked when people worshipped him (Matthew 14:30-33)

The Gospel is full of Proof that Jesus is God! He Himself gave us these proofs of His Deity as God!

1.He was worshipped(MATTHEW 28:17), Only God deserves Worship

2.He forgave Sins(Luke 5:24), Only God can forgive sins

3. He declared that He was before Abraham was(John 8:58), He was with Godhead before the foundation of the World(John 17:5), even John the Baptist(Yahya) declared that Jesus was before him(John 1:29-30)

4. He will Judge the World (MATTHEW 13:37-43)- Only God can Judge the world and Has dominion over Holy Angel. Moreover in John 5:22-23 22 , the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honour the Son just as they honour the Father. Whoever does not honour the Son does not honour the Father, who sent him. Jesus judges us all, Jesus is one with God and the son of God.


The scripture is very clear on the nature of Jesus. Check also Mathew 11:27, 17:5,John 5:17-18 and peters answer to Christ's question about who he was in Mathew 16:16.

The scripture is also very clear in;
1 John 2:22, 'Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that
Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist--denying the Father and the Son.
1 John 4:2-3 "By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world." Several times this term is used in the plural, and can be applied to almost anyone who is opposed to Christ. Those who deny that Jesus came in the flesh are anti-Christ or of the spirit of antichrist.

beloved,believe not every spirit,but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets has gone into the world.

This is one of the ways to discern a false teacher from a true one.
In 1 Corinthians 14:33 My bible tells me in clear terms that God is not the author of confusion. There is so much confusion in Islam ask the Wahabi, Salafists, sunnis, shites alwaites, ahmedies. They kill each other because of this.

God the father acknowledged Jesus as his son (john 17:5)
Jesus called himself the Son of God.
His disciples called him the son of God.
Isaiah from the old testament prophesied about him and called him the son of God.
Angel Gabriel in the first chapter of Luke called Jesus the Son of God.
John the baptist called Jesus the son of God.
The Jews who hated him accused him of claiming he is the Son of God
Demons he casted out called him the son of God.

Yet u Muslims choose to believe the words of a pagan sex addicted slave trader mass murderer illiterate Arab paedophile who died after he was poisoned.

My bible let's me know in 1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. On the contra islams god is full of hate for un believers and doesn't even consider his Muslims as his children but rather as his slaves.

I saw that topic a while back, his pastor asked him to return his certificate..

I wonder how many pastors will return tithes and First fruits that was stolen by corrupt politicians and "big bucks" church members and donated to their church.

My view is that the pastor asking him to return the certificate, the pastor is passing judgement, who made him judge.

If the certificate owner feels he cheated and has not earned it in anyway, and his conscience leads him to return it.... then that's fine. He must do it on his own conviction after praying seriously about it.
