The funny thing is that the thread was a simple and blunt article i wrote on the issues with islam and the vast differences between the teachings of Jesus and Mohammed which should compel any human with a conscience to leave Islam.

It is called ego. They have been brought up with a militant, irrational and supremacist understanding of their religion and therefore objectivity, rationality and freedom of expression have no place in their mindset. That is why they find it wrong for Christians to kill apostates but justify Muslims killing apostates. There is a battle for Islam among between such Muslims and Reform minded Muslims like me. Please don't think that these prosperity/ word of faith pastors and new year, sports and politics prophesy pastors and paedophile priests are the face of Christianity.

If a muslim quotes the bible wrongly(example, Luke 19: 27, a parable that Muslims love to say is a command) or lies about a verse, we instantly correct them because we know our truth..

But here are about 25 vile verses on Islam from the quran and hadiths and we have no rebuttals..only claims that it is not true.

Given that Protestanism is a recent movement, decades from now, it will topple Catholicism which along with orthodox Christianity is not as rooted in traditions as in the past. Look at their nations today, secularized and democratized. This isn't the case with orthodox Muslims who carry their tradition up to national level.

Catholics are orthodox christains too, apparently u dont know this. . The other orthodox churches just retained the title "orthodox" in their name. . The eastern orthodox church, catholics, Orient , Greek orthdox Church, coptic etc what ever you choose to call them, all teach practically the same thing and share similar traditions. The protestants are a clear break away and practise sola scriptura. .

If The protestants topple the orthodox christains in population in the near future that is not our discussion, i really don't see what this had to do with anything . As long as they preach the teachings of Christ, stay true to doctrine AND profess that Jesus is the Son of God, who was crucified, died , buried and rose from the dead then they are christains just as the orthdox.

Even your hadiths have grades of authenticity and i always try to go for the best 2 , Sahih muslim and bukhari. .. apparently u didnt see the sources i quoted....i quoted mostly from your quran and sahih hadiths...the 2 Most authenticated hadiths in Islam. .second only to the quran, the sahih muslim and sahih bukhari, amongst others...
Your sources say he died of poison... some Muslims say it is a jewish woman(mostly sunnis) while some Muslims say it was aisha and her father(mostly shias) .. How can u deny this. .

Muslims don't believe that Jesus paid the price for the sins of those who accept his message and also accept him as lord and savior (Christians) but yet their hadith teaches them this;
Sahih Muslim 6666--Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: No Muslim would die but Allah would admit in his stead a Jew or a Christian in Hell-Fire.
And this,
Sahih Muslim 6668--Allah's Messenger [said]: There would come people amongst the Muslims on the Day of Resurrection with as heavy sins as a mountain, and Allah would forgive them and He would place in their stead the Jews and the Christians.

I have to warn u Muslims that Christians and Jews can't take away your sins. . We don't have that power. You were lied to.
