I need this survey/shared experience because I have thought of being a partner with Uber. I have a driver that is assigned to my family. My family's daily itinerary is fixed and this makes my driver and my car idle from 8am to 8pm daily. Registering the car and the driver with Uber has been considered to roll extra bucks into the family's purse and increase my driver's take-home as he will get commission from money made from Uber, apart from the salary he is being paid presently.

Baba, believe it, It's a psychological play on drivers, I don't take it serious. When I still see riders with 2.0, 3.5 on the platform consistently, then it's all crap.

Of course, one shouldn't now start misbehaving, just be yourself, ratings will go down, it will go up too. Life's easy.

Yes, ratings could drop on Bolt, for me, it's just a psychological play on the drivers, nothing else. Ratings are absolutely irrelevant.

If I am to respond to you sincerely, I would tell you that a driver like you would creep me out. I just need you to get me from point A to B in the best time. Don’t ask me to connect my bluetooth, don’t talk to me, don’t kill me with AC (I will close the vent or tell you to REDUCE it)…just drive. When you do too much, you show riders that you are desperate for good ratings and some would see you finish, especially on that your Bolt. As much as you need good ratings, don’t be thirsty for it.

I remember in January. A man from the abroad kept appreciating car from when I picked him up at IMAX, till we got to Richmond. At the end, he told me he tipped me. I thanked and kept appreciating him till I checked the tip and saw #80 naira.. Eighty fucking_ naira.

Her money was 1800. She gave me 2k and told me to keep the change. She said she enjoyed the ride and A/c. Immediately I dropped her, the rating came to 4.5*

I use a Toyota Camry 08 for this job, bolt precisely. It has android screen....not the normal muscle front.

I used to be on 4.7* rating, but today I saw 4.5*

I usually call rider first. I usually greet first when they enter. I even carry their loads myself and put in the trunk. If it's about driving carefully, I am sure I do. Even before this hustle, when there was no car, if I go out with friends, they usually prefer I drive, even when they all can drive. Even my mom commends my driving skills. So what could be the problem? I usually dress well. Some of my clothes are pretty expensive......sneakers, wristwatches, cologne. Could it be that they see my car and dressing as too big for the job or what? I don't understand the reason for the drop in rating? Could it be that I communicate in clean oral English. I speak very well.
What exactly could be the problem?

There's this bolt driver I met around pharmcity Lekki. He said he does not carry loads o, that he opens the trunk for them. His rating is about 4.9*

I really don't know much about Honda cars but from the reviews above. Seem like a good car. Just make sure you do preventive maintenance and arm yourself with a good scan tool to monitor components. Hope it's a low mileage accord, just like BAZ001's low mileage Voltron muscular spider Camry . Cheers

Check engine light came on! Scanned and alas! P02716! No symptoms for now. So, weekend my super kazeem will do the following:
1. Check the status/colour of the ATF
2. If dirty or dark brown, he'll drain and fill
3. He'll also clean the filter and the drain pan

Things to buy. Dextron VI fluid and carburator cleaner.

@ IFEBARBIE, first it depends from where your pick up is and then your destination... But after drop off just use the main Badagry express to Island don't be on the service Lane oh else you'll encounter some pot hole traffics.
