The main reason why we have problems with power is people who won't pay their bills and attack disco officials doing their jobs.

Yes, discos 'extort' us, but if you were running a business and people took things for free, would you have money to invest in growing your business.

Nigerians want free power. Even if you give these guys free meter, they will bypass it.

And we Nigerians are so uncivilized. Assaulting people is a criminal offence

And the reason why many.people don't have light is because of the many who don't pay for their power
You were making sense until Yes, discos 'extort' us, but if you were running a business and people took things for free, would you have money to invest in growing your business.and the last paragraph.
The extortion should be enough to boost the business naw, abi?
For the other one, bros how happy would you be recharging your line (MTN say) with 2k only to realise that you can't make calls due to poor network services yet will forfeit the same amount after one week on expiration of airtime?
Does it make sense to you? You don't treat a dog like a goat yet expect it to behave like a dog.

Most of these cars have extremely high mileage. It makes me wonder why you're selling some of them at the prices one can get a good, cleared vehicle, with low mileage, of the same make in Nigeria. Just saying.

Anyway, I'm interested in purchasing a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer. A manual transmission option is preferable. Let me know if you have any available.

Thanks.
The so-called low mileage cars you see in Nigeria have all had their odometer tampered with. In all honesty, I'd rather a honest 200k+ mileage than a 13 year old preowned car having 5k mileage. It reeks of dubious affairs.

You better repent of your myopia (no insults intended please) Apart from the Chinko phones, many products are much better than Samsung and iPhones. Huawei seems to lead that park hence they want to cripple any non-American products just as they did BlackBerry.

The pure yahoo boys are walking freely with heavily arms police men with assault riffles ment for war.
Yahaya Bello is owing 36months salary and the state is in-depthed to the turn of about 250billion.
Rochas Okorocha is building statutes of useless people with state funds but can’t pay salaries.
NASS ward robe allowance alone can lift over 50m Nigerian out of poverty by creating jobs for them.
Yet EFCC are blind about all these fact.
Customs recorded over 300 thousand applications over a job vacancy of paltry 3500 people.
Yet the lazy Nigeria youths are supporting d same people looting dry their destiny per seconds.
Audu Ogbe just told EU not to let in Nigerian youths to their country where as all his children and that of the politicians are schooling or residing there.
Leaders are no longer leading by example.
The country keeps going down d drain on all the indexes of development n social infrastructure.
Wht is the hope of an average Nigerian?
Where is the love n empathy for the people they govern after elections?
Yes, you are correct to a reasonable extent, but there's a saying that goes thus; He who seeks equity must come with hands clean. You don't correct wrong with wrong (from both ends). These politicians are bad, but what has Yahoo Yahoo brought in any way for you or the country at large? I bet you can't name even one. The politicians at least arr legal entities, voted for by 'you and I' (whether you want to admit it or not). They act within the tenets of the law even if they always find a way to circumvent it, If our institutions were in order, many of them would be rotting away in Kirikiri.
Now the Yahoo boys have nothing positive to offer this country. Is it the pains they cause their victims or the betrayal they dish out or the smear they rub on this nation internationally or the pains to their families when they get caught or the disappointment to their allies? It is a no win situation with these so-called Yahoo boys.
Obviously, any fool knows that the Yahoo as it were can't still be paying them as they pretend it is. We are all complaining about kidnapping, armed robbery, rituals just to name a few. These guys hide under the guise of Yahoo to commit hideous crimes and claim Yahoo since it is a more 'classy crime' to be associated with in Nigeria. Bros, children are no longer yearning for excellence nor good grades nor to be a doctor nor engineers nor scientists, but instead, they want to drive Mercedes Benz GLK even without earning a salary nor having any known businesses.
Just think of the ripple effects. In a couple of years time, Nigeria will be virtually grounded. Nobody has learned any trade nor craft.
I opened a shop some time ago, you know what? For close to 2 months I couldn't run because I couldn't find sales person to man the shop. The young boys are busy pressing phones, while the young girls are busy jumping from one 4Matic to Venza. What I intend paying per month is what a young school leaver could make a night for just spreading her legs for one Yahoo boy who in turn don't have a cogent trade.
Just think of what would happen to the labour force in a few years if (hopefully) Yahoo ends. It's frightening.

Thank you for the feedback. We will do our best to stick to low-priced cars. However, our initial model was to offer without cost of clearing, but we received too many enquiries on cost of clearing per vehicle, hence our current practice of bundling the purchase and shipping cost with the clearance cost.
Apt.

petrol engines can be converted to use both petrol and gas (CNG OR LNG) at the same time so the vehicle can either use petrol and then switch to gas when the petrol has finished.

I think same principle can be done for diesel too because dangote trucks are diesel engine stock and they were converted to use gas I am not too sure whether diesel engines can use both since diesel isn't combustion ignition rather is uses compression.
Thanks a lot for the explicit explanation. I really appreciate.

HeavenlyBang:
And for the part most of you are concerned about. What are my thoughts on the Infiniti G35?

It's a brilliant car. Honestly.

Interior
The fit and finish is better than on my ES. Keep in mind that my ES was a fully loaded model. The sound system fuckin bangs, and the entire cockpit is just so well designed.

Handling
The car's steering is fuckin heavy! Stop whatever you're doing and go drive one. Heavy as hell. I'm a skinny dude and I feel like my biceps are going to grow if I drive this for three more months. Heavy and precise. There's a reason why the G knocked the BMW 3-series out of the way for a while. These cars are designed to make you enjoy driving.

Power
I have 306 horses under my hood, I'm not sure what you expect. The car moves. Fast. Wickedly fast. And AWD ensures I never lose traction at takeoff. Let me put this into perspective: Bar the E550, CLK550, and S550, there are no non-AMG Mercs faster than this car. None. And it will hang with those three cars until 80 MPH or so before they pull on it due to their 80 HP advantage. Let that sink in: It takes an extra 80 HP for a naturally aspirated V8 to be able to keep up.

That said, this thing is a gas guzzler! I have a heavy foot, so I'm probably at fault too. But, God, it drinks fuel.
Let me put this into perspective: I bought 40 L of fuel yesterday. I've driven about 50 miles, and I have just 50 miles of range left. The previous owner averaged about 14 MPG combined. I'll be happy to get 12.

That said, a full tank of gas took us back home from Lagos, which is about 290 miles (465 km), and I had about 15 litres left. I should be able to get 20-21 MPG if I keep the car at 2000 RPM, doing 80-100 KM/H. Basically the ideal speed for fuel economy.

Anyway, smiles per gallon are more important. Not a big deal. And anytime I step on the throttle--which is often--I'll be reminded of why I pay so much for fuel.

That is all.

Much thanks to everyone who helped.

Good evening. My Toyota Avensis '96 Wagon has been giving some iron to iron rubbing kinda of noise. More like brakepad rubbing iron against iron. I noticed that when I was on reverse some days ago, the front wheels sort of locked. This morning on my way to church, I noticed that the the brakes pedal floored and I had to pump it up before the brakes could hold.
On reaching the house it also got flat and on pumping it I discovered that the hydraulic was just leaking from one of the front wheels. Please what's the problem and how do I go about fixing it? It's a first for me and I don't want to be a maga for the mechanics. Thanks.

EducationRe: Some Grammatical Blunders To Avoid by Ifebazz(m): 8:53pm On May 04, 2019
Rapmoney:
Some Grammatical Blunders You Should Avoid

We make some grammatical blunders everyday in our interactions with others. I once visited a private school and was disappointed that the instructors in the school were not laying a good foundation for sound grammar for the kids. Children are very sensitive to copying what they see or hear. Teachers in schools and parents at home should be mindful of this because kids copy a lot and are greatly prone to accept what they hear as correct.

Below are some grammatical blunders we should avoid while speaking, especially, to kids:

1) 'Stop matching me' (WRONG).
Instead, say ' Stop stepping on me'. To 'match'
means to walk with quick calculated steps in unison
by a group of people, especially, in the military.

2) 'He is my junior brother' (WRONG).
Instead, they 'He is my younger brother'.

3) 'On my way to Lagos, I'll branch my sister's house'
(WRONG). Instead, say 'On my way to Lagos, I'll visit
my sister or I'll go to my sister's house'. There's no
verb as 'branch' in English which means the same
thing intended by the speaker.

4) 'I saw your missed calls' (WRONG).
Instead, say 'I missed your calls'. The calls were
missed because you didn't pick or not disposed to
do that.

5) 'He is drinking mineral' (WRONG).
Instead, say 'He is drinking mineral water or soda'.
Minerals are natural deposits, they are not foods or
beverages.

6) 'My car is more better than yours' (WRONG).
Instead, say 'My car is better than yours'. MORE and
BETTER are both comparative adjectives. Two
comparative adjectives are not used in same
sentence.

7) 'On the long run' (WRONG).
instead, say 'In the long run'.

8. 'Either Bisi or Ade are coming' (WRONG).
Instead, say 'Either Bisi or Ade is coming'. There are
two subjects in the sentence but only one person will be coming which makes it singular. Remember, 'IS' is a singular verb while 'ARE' is a plural verb.

9) 'Those are the men that caught the thieves'
(WRONG).
Instead, say 'Those are the men who caught the
thieves. 'WHO' and 'THAT' are relative pronouns
in this context. While 'who' is used for humans, 'that'
is used for things and animals.

10) 'They are discussing about the weather' (WRONG).
Instead, say 'They are discussing the weather.

The rest are more of Oral English, Phonics or Speech. That's speaking right.

11) OFTEN, LISTEN - Pronounce them without the letter 'T'. Such as 'ofen' and 'lisen'.
12) PERFECT - Pronounce it as 'pefekt' and not 'pafekt'
13) ATE (past tense of eat) - Pronounce it as 'et' not 'hate'.
14) MARKET, POCKET, BUCKET, ROCKET, etc - Pronounce them as 'markit', 'pockit', 'buckit' and 'rockit'.
15) BUS - It's pronounced correctly as 'bas'.
16) SUITE (in hotels) - Pronounce it as 'sweet' and not 'suit'.
17) EXAMPLE, EXAMINATION - Pronounce them as 'eexample' and 'eexamination' respectively.
18) MILD - Pronounce it as 'mald'.
19) NEEDED (past tense of need) - Pronounce it as 'needid'.
20) COME - Pronounce it as 'cam'.

For those taking IELTS, TOEFL and other English proficiency tests, you need to pay particular attention to the LISTENING SECTION. You may easily misunderstand the speaker if you don't pay attention to things you think do not matter.

We all have an opportunity to learn everyday. Strive to learn new things everyday.

God bless you.
21. Am going there. WRONG. There is nothing like 'am going...' use instead, say or write, 'I am going there' or the short form, 'I'm going there'.
This (AM) is the most abused word in Nigeria and perhaps the world today because Nigerians contribute a large chunk of that population.
