No guy should date if he doesn't have what it takes to carter for a lady.
Are you lame or physically challenged? Why can't you hustle for yourself then 'marry a man of your choice' if you so wish? Has relationship all of a sudden become a poverty alleviation program Or has gender equality suddenly disappeared based on this topic?

Nice piece. But where is the place of gender equality in this write up? Please brief me
You know, the gender equality thing is ONLY when it's convenient. Now only the guys needs to suffer/work because society deems it that way and therefore it's correct. But when it's time to share the yam, they're being marginalized. Double standards.

Crime › Re: 5 Reasons Why Men Commit Suicide Than Women In Nigeria-from A Female Perspective by Ifebazz(m): 6:46am On Apr 16, 2017
PaperLace:
Which woman gets help? Using NL as a case study, where women are blamed for their husbands abusive and philandering tendencies?

My dear, a good percentage of Nigerian men are only useful for the money and manhood. Once they don't have money and the manhood, they become very useless. That's why they think all the have to contribute to their homes to be crowned head of the house is bring money.

Till they realise life is beyond that, they might never find fulfilment.
Even if a woman sees no reason to live, she would live for her kids. Women marry bad husbands too, do you think emotional abuse is child's play? Or physical abuse? Women are most times blamed for every bad character exhibited by their kids and husband. No gender has it easy...

No one told you guys to bottle your emotions. Y'all set the standards for yourselves. Deal with it.
I thought they 'ONLY' blame women?
If I may borrow a leaf from your conclusion, "nobody told women to be weak".

I have never seen guys standing on the road looking for lifts. Even when there's scarcity of vehicles, it's women the lifts gets to easily. Call it exploitation, why don't women exploit men in that regard?
In Lagos, apart from the commercial vehicles, there's almost more women driving cars on the roads. How many times has any man been given a ride by a woman?

Do you know how many men are puppets in their own homes? Take psychological and sometimes physical abuses too? Of course you can't get to hear it because 'society' frowns at weak men. Most men yearn for more work or hobbies just to get away from their homes.
Society wants them to be strong and weak at the same time. Be strong without the rough edges. Be weak without being lazy.

In economics, there's what's called 'alternative foregone'. You want a man to go out and work his arse off to fend for his family but you don't want him out late. even when the job demands it. Make up your minds woman. What do you all want from men?

Annie Idibia the beautiful wife of African Queen crooner "2baba" a.k.a Tu-Face displays bulging stomach during BBNaija’s show.

Annie has two daughters for 2baba while the iconic singer has five other children from two baby mamas. Talks of Annie Idibia being pregnant for 2baba again have been ongoing since her 4th wedding anniversary surprise dinner.

If people had got it wrong then, they believe that she definitely is after her husband called her on stage during his performance at the grand finale of the just ended Big Brother Naija competition in South Africa which was monitored by yours sincerely.

During his last performance 2baba had sang his chart buster song African Queen and from the crowd he went to fetch his wife Annie and brought her on stage outing her on the spotlight. Trust Nigerians, they went from her husband celebrating her to seeing the bulge in her stomach.

Wait a minute, that part of the wedding ceremony where the Priest asks, "will you love and cherish this man, honour him and respect him blah blah blah...", I think these women freedom fighters have deleted it from their own memory bank. Was there a place where it is written that a woman 'must not shut up' for once or even this so-called 'walk away? Why must only the man be in the position to walk away? These women are just so insecure it reeks to high heavens.
Christianity Etc › Re: Why I Believe Stephanie Otobo Is Lying Against Apostle Sulieman by Ifebazz(m): 11:08am On Mar 15, 2017
mantosa:
Hello Nairalanders,

Happy Sunday to you and I hope some of you went to church.

As regards the subject matter, I have followed the story from the beginning and I have been able to deduce some facts indicating that the lady in question - Stephanie Otobo is lying and the media lash is totally to discredit Apostle Suleiman.

Firstly, I am a passive Christian so don't assume I defending the Apostle, I am just being logical.

If this incident happened in 2015, why wait till 2017 to accuse him, interestingly after he spoke against El Rufai?

I remember Sulieman made a statement in 2015 against El Rufai after the latter threatened to close down churches in Kaduna, could it possibly be that was when the scheming started?

In her first series of videos, she claimed she has enough evidences to back her up but till now, she has only released a screenshot of a video call. Babes in the house, y'all know how you love snapping pictures every now and then even with friends. She is still yet to provide a solid evidence.

In a follow up press release, she claimed her laptop was stolen and that was where she had most evidences stored - I find this not straight forward.

Now to Daniella Okeke's issue, at first she mentioned the actress to be a Ghanian and she doesn't know her name but was able to figure out the name and even went as far as knowing Suleiman gave her a car.

Stephanie's claim is Apostle Suleiman slept with her on numerous occasions, got her pregnant and aborted the baby. Let her prove these statements beyond reasonable doubt and leave whosoever is involved with the pastor.

Now, I assume the media is the voice of the voiceless because I am a journalist myself, with Sahara Reporters at her disposal and having held a press conference, she should have laid everything down to the media.

Mentioning Daniella's name would only prolong the issue and if she is saying she only wants the truth to come out, then she should table the svidences and tackle Apostle, apparently she has a sinister plan hidden.

I know what a media frame up is, it drags so long that the personality of the character being targeted is maligned and damaged in the media world.

She also said his is a 'criminal', regardless of what your perception is towards Pastors, how is a promise of marriage a criminal offense?

I just thought to drop a few of my thoughts on the issue here. Please no insults.

lalasticala
You deduced nahdah. All your deduction are speckled with bias towards the person you like, which is obviously the pastor. No facts at all. You only assumed the so-called 'man of God' is above sin and probably cannot be checked by human rules and regulations. I don't know how it is that ladies especially mortgage their brain cells to their most times randy pastors who are more often than not, not better than the rest men you abhor.

rem44:
Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Yakubu Dogara, on Thursday, joined a group of Northern Christian Women to pray for the speedy recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The prayer session took place in the Speaker's office when the Christian women leaders from the 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), paid the him a courtesy visit at the National Assembly.

Dogara expressed faith that God will answer the prayer and restore the president to full health, saying, "Because we have prayed, God in heaven will answer us. In fact,He is not answering us, He is honouring His word."

Dogara, while addressing the women, urged them to live in fulfillment of the demands of Christ Jesus by showing love to everyone irrespective of faith and tribe, adding that love begets peace and only in peace can development be achieved and faith practices without fear or restrictions.

"Love without restrictions. Love your neigbours in fulfilment of Christ's command. Do not restrict your love to only Christians, also show love to Muslims and people of other faith."

Earlier, the delegation of women commended the Speaker for his passion for alleviating the sufferings of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and resettlement of the displaced.

Leader of the team, Mrs Leah Solomon Lucy, also used the occasion of the courtesy call to express concern that northern Christian women have not been getting appointments in the present government and to appeal that they should be included in upcoming appointments.

She also lamented that insurgency has left many of their members widows and childless, noting that though terrorism has been defeated greatly in the north, people are still being killed.

They also prayed for the speedy recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari and wished the acting president, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, a belated happy birthday.
