Fashion / Re: Please Help!! My Skin Tone Is In A Mess by ifeteminikan: 2:16pm On Sep 17, 2012
Lepsywitty: Help me o nairalanders,am naturally fair in complexion until i started using on alaja cream in tejuosho with mama tega soap.have tried almost all the cream in the world, and my room is looking like i sell beauty products.am too lazy to check previous threads pls sm1 shud recommend a good cream or where i get purchase one.thanks

My dear, anytime i walk into those stalls in tejuoso, am always amazed at the damage this women are doing to our youngs girls in lagos, you rarely see a dark lady this days, all you see are different skin tones/colors on their faces and they always go back to purchase more, I am a dark person, one of the Mama tega's gave me one oil to moisturise my dry skin, lo and behold my skin tone started changing to different colors, I had to stop using the so called oil and bought clarins/olay liquid soap. the different was clear after a few days.

There are several nice cream out there( Elizabeth ardens, Clarins fair, clinique etc) but a bit expensive and with the addition of shea butter/honey,Home made masks i.e egg white/banana/pear etc you will get back your skin color with time, But please flee from recommendations of the so called alajas and mama tegas in tejuoso.
Phones / Re: iPhone 5 A Disappointment Compared To Samsung Galaxy S3? by ifeteminikan: 3:35pm On Sep 13, 2012
Remmyode:

Ifeteminikan, I think the problem you are having is about the trial version. I'll suggest you run a purchased version and all you will need to do is update over the Internet. You can always purchase it online if you have an itune account. Hope this information is helpful enough.

Yes i do have an itune account and it was indeed the trial version, am not sure of the purchasing part online as my internet connectivity is not that sound in the house, i wil check for Apple's office in lagos here and ask them to assist.

Thanks lot.

Remmyode: Dear Nlanders, I've read so much about the bashing of an Apple product on this forum in time past and I decided to share my opinion/experience about the iGadget. I'm not an advocate for high pricing mac product but I'm someone who loves gadget to a fault. Talking about phones, as much as I dislike the high pricing of iPhone/Mac products, that's how much I appreciate the DURABILITY of iPhones/ mac product. A lifes span of an iPhone/mac product is more than 6years if used 14hrs a day the way I do which gives it value for the money. I've used all sort of gadgets ranging from mp3, laptops, phones, games, cameras but the Mac experience stand out as other gadget will wornout before an Apple product. Before I bought my MacBook pro 2years ago, I used to change laptop every year but the experience has changed with Macbook pro. The system is still as intact as ever and I'm sure is going to take me to another 3years. Now buying a laptop for #150k every year for 6years and buyin a MacBook pro for #300k-400k for 6years which one is economically sensible? The thing is apple comes with a class and quality that other gadget marker has not match in recent innovation and that's why they will remain most patronised for years to some. iLike it or iLeave it!

Remmymode, please how do you use office tools on your mac book, i downloaded a trial veersion of the iwork on mine and it has expired, dont know how to get the full version.. Kindly assist as i have virtually abandon it as a result of this.

i think the fact that the officer was caught in the BRT Lane by the Hon Gov is enough embarassment already while the 25,000ngn fine is just the icing on the cake. Now you see everybody (Civilian/officers) stuck in traffic, if not you park your car and buy a BRT Ticket. shikena.

Enforcing the Law should apply to everybody afterall nobody get two heads.

Education / Re: All Girls Schools Make Nigerian Girls Promiscuous by ifeteminikan: 11:03am On Jul 24, 2012
whoever want to be promiscuous will always be,Notwithstanding if you attends a mixed or all girls school, its an individual thing.. I have heard of people who where introduced to lesbianism under their parent watch... A guy once confessed on a radio program that he was introduced to homosexuality by his uncle( Mother's younger brother) who came to live with them when he was a very young boy.

You may not ba able control events around you but you can choose who and what you want to become..
