OP,to break into the Naija mkt and get to the target audience,I suggest you make direct contacts(which might involve free samples) with some of the beauty and health specialits/houses operating in Naija.Most of them are at Allen,Ikeja.

Those people sabi markeying and promotions die and they have huge followers/clientelle.And as for the price,I think its cool.

I would be leaning more on what Abagworo said.Trrry to accept and see your MIL as your own mom.Be honest to yourself,would you have handled this differently if she were your mom?

Truth is that most of us Nigerians are not familiar with terms like 'please,sorry and thank you' so its not like ur MIL is weird or just being difficult.Be courteous to her still.Kneeling while greeting is a MUST in some cultures,sorry if ur man never told u before now but as long as she is with u and u want peace in ur home,stoop to conquer.It wont make u less a woman.

Humor works,use it.Try to make friend of your MIL,ask her to tell u stories(your husbands teen days etc),she wud feel important and happily bore u with tales.

Finally when all is well,subtle but carefully start making preparations for her departure.

I love my mom and MIL to bits but aside for health reasons,none is coming over for more than 3 mths at a stretch

LastPage,Years back in an international airline,the appointment letters of air stewards states that you lose your appointment without notice or benefits when the company notice you are pregnant.

I have seen non-Nigerians that faulted and got served too.Anyhoo,I never saw/heard anyone contested or took them to court but are you actually saying that with the above scenario,the employer can sue the employee?

@OP,provide answers to Lastpage's questions.And as a matter of fact,some companies include it in the appointment letter that you lose your employment without benefits the day you are found to be pregnant.Life is all about choices.

I have my shitto 24/7 and i soooo love it.It's actually a blend of fried tight and super dry(no water) pepper,tomatoes,garlic,ginger and fish.It's such a lovely handy sauce and goes with almost everything.eba,rice,yam etc.

I love me some palava sauce and boiled unripe plantain.Delish and nutritious.Not forgetting "red red" ie beans,some special fried spicy palm oil and plantain.

Fufu and light soup when i want to 'have it all'. and not forgetting koko and kosue,their version of pap and bean balls.
