Source of this news is PM news  undecided
@Topic,Demand exceeds supply hence the law won't achieve much.Its all about the benjamins as folks with dough would be ready to part with 2-3 years advance.
How accessible to the real,poor masses would be the police,lawyer or whatever body that would prosecute defaulting landlords ?

Thanks Sienna,so what are d basic things to do to help her just in case, I pray the time will be very comfortable for ‎♏ε to take her to the hospital immediately buh dnt know what can happenhuh
Good to be prepared for eventualities but as much as its possible,a professional or an experienced hand especially if its the first time.

Birthing and/or labour does not start or end instanta . , Your wife should at least have an EDD(expected date of delivery) to work with,get your wife close to the hospital or bring in an experienced hand.

I think animal in Igbo may have just been ánú, but to conform to the English model that separates meat from animals it was changed to anumanu.
Makes some sense.

okra is not an Igbo word.Igbo's call it Okro or okwuru.

I've been wondering does the Igbo translation of animal have any english influence? Both words are very similar.

Animal= animani/ani/anu
Okwu mbite/mbibi it is.(corrupted English words)

Ear rings=eyeri
court marshal=kortuma
Auxillary nurse=Nurse eliza

Corrupted Igbo words also;
Onicha=Onitsha
Enu ugwu=Enugu

She made the best out of what life offered her,as oppossed to a some of us who most probably,in the same circumstance would:
Not look beyond the present,stop making excuses and work towards a better tomorrow.
Go into pro.sti.tution or sold off into an early marriage.
Become very bitter with life,end up an old grumpy maid.

Btw,Tiffany's sucess story won't be complete without mention of a functioning society/govt.student loans,part time works etc are non- existent in this part of the world.

@Topic,dunno if it's determination,luck or both that made her pull through fine and smooth.Lucky her!

Family › Re: When Is The Best Time To Tell An Adopted Child The Truth About His Parentage? by ifyalways(f): 3:04pm On Jul 30, 2011
Siena:

By this stage, it may be too late. A child shouldn't have to ask his / her origins. You wouldn't hide the origin of your biological children from them, so why would you do so for your adopted children, other than making them feel "different?" When a child is adopted, the same rules that govern the parenting of biological parents apply, otherwise there's no point going through the adoption process. If the child is asking, that probably means he / she has heard something elsewhere, or something else doesn't quite add up. An adopted child is more likely to feel alienated, if vital facts surrounding the adoption process are hidden. It gives the impression the adoptive parents are ashamed of him / her.

Allowing an adoptive child to live a lie can be damaging, and the effects are not easily reversed.[/color]
Depends on what you view as origin
Our supposed origins are what our parents told us,who knows for sure?
The day anyone adopts a child,same day the child automatically becomes part of him,his family.There is nothing to make anyone feel different as its one family,no segregation.
I said I wont tell till s/he asks knowing fully well that he "most definitely" would never find out,from me,my spouse or any other person as the adoption would be just between me and my husband.IMO,people that are so inclined to tell are folks that either differentiate or segregate btwn their adopted kids and biological kids or people that announced to the whole world that they are going for adoption.

Besides,the circumstances surrounding the adoption has to be considered.You won't catch a couple that adopted because they were unable to have a child of their own telling a soul that they adopted a child whereas people that adopted for other reasons (charity,want to have a bigger family etc) would not see a biggie in telling or announcing.
Family › Re: When Is The Best Time To Tell An Adopted Child The Truth About His Parentage? by ifyalways(f): 8:31am On Jul 30, 2011
I would never tell until Im asked or confronted by the child.
Anytime,anyday he's old and matured enough to ask,I would tell. . .until then,lips sealed.
