This thread sef.Where is the OP ? Gone on his knees praying for his wife's change of heart or kneeling, hands up,eyez shut as the wife instructed?

Seriously OP,do the right thing.Do not hit back at her,do not wait for her to hit you again.Remove urself from the abusive relationship/environment,plan on a permanent solution.

@OP,Don't hit back, don't think divorce yet either.Separation for a week or 2 wud offer you both enough time to think through and clearly if their is a future in the union or not.

I think the first line above is the mistake many Nigerians make. Yes, there may be no products selling at 50kobo at the moment, but what about N1.50k, N10.25k, etc? Nigerians do not understand that by rejecting the coins, we are only cheating ourselves.

Let's take Cocacola as an example. If they need to increase the cost of coke from say N50 for one reason or another, the closest they can increase it to is N55 when maybe an increase to N52 may have been sufficient but because we do not have lower denominations,  it makes it impossible to do this. And this goes for every product in the market including transport fares. Operators will increase in multiples of N5 or N10 when a N1 increase may be sufficient. At the end of the day, its we the end users who suffer for it.
Enough said.

^Its possible Yoruba's use double wrappers also but the traditional and real Igbo way of using wrappers is 2 at a time, the topmost one is always shorter. However, single girls are exempted and not permitted to use 2 wrappers, its a sort of privileged to be enjoyed only by the married ladies.

Igbo sells!

The Original writer of that article is merely looking for cheap fame, hits on her blog/site or book.or one of the unfortunate folks that grew up in a dysfunctional family unit(s/he made referrals to her upbringing)

Seriously, who still discusses silly stuffs like osu in 2011?and with someone probably born in Regos or Amelika who can neither point out his/her fathers'  obi  nor lead the way to the family's ancient landmarks?Folks whose only connection with "Igbo" is 2 wks Xmass vacation per annum, who are so out of tune with the real norms and practices of Igboland and only source of enlightenment is the garbage they come across online and wild tales told them by strangers?
It's baffling when over 90% of the people that condemns Obi's administration are not even residing in Anambra State. And a further 98% know little or nothing about everyday developments in the state.

Compared to most states in Nigeria that have only their capitals as their mega cities, Anambra has Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi to say but the least. There is no way one can judge Obi's ongoing works by merely visiting Onitsha, Awka or Nnewi and come to a conclusion.

And let me suggest here that one should before comparing Anambra state with other states, consider the differences in their allocations from the FG, IGR, ORIENTATION of the people (of the said states), status of the mentioned states- for example, Lagos was Nigeria's FCT, Akwa Ibom, Delta, Rivers etc. are oil producing states; Enugu was the former old Anambra state capital.

Obi gave desktops, 50 laptops, furnished science labs, generators, buses to mention but a few, to every secondary school I know of. Additionally, girls secondary schools can now coast of potable drinking water courtesy of Obi's administration.

But then, some corrupt people like that principal of Washington Mem. grammar sch. Onitsha would want to embezzle funds meant for their schools, and when you visit there without evidence, they'll deny ever receiving such from govt. There are also schools that benefit from govt. partnership with private sectors like the Finbank Hostel renovated at St. Charles College Onitsha.
There is 'water for all' project underway that will benefit EVERY part of the state. In terms of road construction, one can easily access most hinterlands now as the development is well spread (not just beautifying the main cities).

ORIENTATION: Seriously, our people need complete re-orientarion. You have people littering and messing up the streets with wastes only to decamp thereafter to Asaba the neighbouring state complaining about how dirty Onitsha is! Isn't that ridiculous?

In conclusion, rebuilding any state in Nigeria or our nation as a whole needs our individual sacrifices. How would you feel as an entrepreneur noticing a dwindling fortune in your biz, you manage to give it a face lift- buy more equipment, furnish your biz place/factory, and and then anticipate a better income from it to be able to increase your workers' pay. All of a sudden, your employees start breathing down your throat for pay increment, citing their counterparts in other coys as a reference, ? Answer that to yourself.

I know, when our nation is not working, we are sacrificing,  but now that it is making a step, me thinks it needs more of our sacrifice, and even more!

Since we cannot but wait him out of office, let's give him the support he needs for the betterment of Anambra State. I believe posterity will judge him fairly,  My 2 kobo sha o!

   May God bless up all.
lol
So its now 50 laptops?
Y'all need to bury your heads in shame.
Where are the desktops abi laptops?Name the schools, simple!

Which girls secondary schools can boast of water, did water just get to secondary schools today?Ado girls,QRC,St. Monicas,Loretto Special Science ,Awka girls  etc all had dry water pipes since way back so what are you on about ? There have been tap though water flows through it once in a blue moon.Same for Primary Schools.
Potable ko,cupable ni

Y'all should list clearly what Obi did and not blow grammar up and down.Example :
1.He repainted an old mud house health center at Umudioka.
2. . . . .
3. . . . and so forth

I refuse to waste my bandwidth on alter ego called gree-die today.myluv! has the floor.  wink

Some guys abandoned their family and cling to their wives, garnishing them(wives) with wealth that come from the combination of efforts made by their family and themselves(guys). Is that right?
Should wives not even for a short while be given the responsibility of man?Should we continue to tolerate the lackadaissical attitude of most women?Should we not rise in a protest and require of women a service that would tantamount to the suffering we encountered while we are in the making? Please Think!!!

Obi is authoritarian, posits a holier than thou image, self centered and selfish, but to say he's not done much for Anambra, is false!!

I am a big fan of Mr. Ndibe, but this is one article i have doubts on some issues raised.
