benue folks call their daughters ada. somebody may just have named the girl after somebody else, not necessarily as a first girls name.

besides, i once despised a friend for telling me the name we gave my first daughter RHODA( a biblical name) is old school, but she likes the names of my 2 sons( Mitchell and Eli), i think it was really hurtful. i should reserve the right to call my kids what i want that is not generally ridiculous, not what someone thinks i should call them. afterall its not only jennifer and jane that are girls names( very popular). i used to not like my name sometime back, cos people say it is a word, like faith, love, joy, peace, ( i bear a name similar to that) , but now i know better, and that is why i vehemently told my friend to BUZZ- OFF

Five people have been feared dead in a chieftaicy crisis in Ejule Community of Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi state. The crisis was said to have been caused by the supporters of the three contenders for the stool of Onu of Ejule.

The crisis started when the contenders were invited for a meeting. The initial uproar, it was learnt, snowballed into a violent crisis when the supporters one of the contenders confronted the supporters of another contender in a free for all, resulting to the death of five people.

Confirming the report, the state acting Commissioner of Police, Mallam Abdullahi Magaji, said only two people; a young man and a woman, died in the crisis, adding that five persons had been arrested in connection with the crisis.

Magaji said that the suspects had confessed to the crime, while weapons, including 16 pump action machine guns and 10 AK 47 guns were recovered from them in order to regain their freedom.

The police boss reiterated the command’s commitment to rid the state of criminal activities, saying that his men were combat ready to provide adequate security to the people of the state.

Personally both places are ideal places to start something of that kind considering that they have a number of highbrow towns and cities with folks who would want to learn as many international languages as possible (not forgetting that chinese is one of the official languages of the United Nations).

I'll advise you to choose prestigious private schools especially secondary schools where extra curricular activities are considered a very important aspect of student mind and social development. Offer your programme as a weekly or bi-weekly activity which the parents interested in will pay say N 8000 per term. If you can sign up 5 schools with enrolment of 30 students per school then we are talking N 1.2 million a term or N 400,000 a month.

Do some research yourself in order to verify my claims.

EKWANG RECIPES

INGREDIENTS:
-6-7 red or white cocoyams (not achu coco)
-6 Maggie cubes, salt
-1 bottle palm oil
-Dry fish, Meat,
-Cocoyams leaves
-1 onion
-1 Cup Njanga(crey fish)
-,ginger, pepper.
- PATIENCE (lol)

PREPARATION:
Cut up meats and boil. Put 2 maggie cubes, pinch of salt, and half an Onion chopped. When ready keep aside.
Wash Cocoyams leaves and using hands, gently pull leaves from stem. Should be large enough to wrap coco mixture without splling at sides.
Peel coco yams and grater. Mix with 1 tsp salt.
grind ginger, pepper, 1/2 onion.
Oil bottom and sides of pot with a generous amount of palm oil.
Start wrapping grated cocoyams in Cocoyams leaves. Placement is very important, for this will make the everything stay together. So place wrapped coco in a tight alignment, and criss-cross to allow the easy circulation of water during cooking.
you can now put the pot on the fire with some of the water from the boiled meat and the boiled meat too.
After boiling for about 30mins while, add the smoked fish, salt and the ground ginger and onion, then the palm oil.
DO NOT STIR WITH SPOON. Lift both sides of pot with pot handlers, and gently shake. Keep heat on med-high and cook for about 30mins.


Put maggi, crayfish and pepper according to tates, in a few minutes your ekwang is ready.
