Pres,i hope u got what i wrote huh
Those women break kolanut when there is no titled male around.
your yarning abt women from Osha not breaking cola at Ogidi and Nkpor is just so so out of question. . .do visitors break kola ? shocked there is no where in Igboland where a visitor breaks kola so i dont get that ur "not breaking kola in Ogidi "line. The only exceptions are Arochukwu and Nri peeps, they can break the kola anywhere even as a visitor.
Are u sure the youngest dont break Kola in the whole of Imo state?u might want to confirm from ppl from some parts of Isu Njaba and Oru west.

lol
Abagworo,am not talking abt female masquerades.Nne mmanwu in Onitsha actually is not a masquerade but she controls certain masquerades.shes quite influential, certain masquerades leave from her house, they hold mmanwu meetings in her place and she keeps most of the mmanuw gear and costume.shes got other roles which makes her influential and popular.
Like,i said, the titled woman breaks Kola when their is NO titled man around.
Obviously,Aloy is a non-titled slowpoke so am gonna break kolanuts on his head and face soon.  cheesy

ibkaye:
Don't know why some people just come out with blatant statements like this without proper evidence, not saying they aren't, neither am I saying they are, I have no proof.

Sometimes, it could be the lighting, or even the foundation they are wearing etc, we don't know.

Stop stating as though it is FACT.
lol.
u said it all.Its suprising most peeps judge complexion with pixs which we all know can be altered by make up,light effects etc.

calling someone a liar for what is actually true and adding bloddy to it shows you might never wake up from your stupid stupor.Women with odu titles in Onitsha break Kolanuts.[/quote]rofl  cheesy
I na atupuru Ikwikwi ogbe- oye onu  cheesy .Imagining him trying to lecture me abt Onitsha customs is just giving me laffs. If only he has an iota of idea of what it takes to get just ofu odu,or odu aka nli not to talk of odu aka na ukwu he wont even dare to question what i said.
@Abagworo,thank u jare.help me educate our people ooooo.lol
Our culture varies from place to place.
Theres no place in igbo land as of now, where women get "odu" titles,am even yet to hear of "nne-mmanwu" queen mother of masquerades with very noticeable and important roles attached in any other part of igboland except Onitsha.Soon,am gonna get my odu(hands and legs) and come break Kola for Aloy the slowpoke  cheesy

Family › Re: What Are The Role Of Church In Marriage Apart From Joining by ifyalways(f): 1:44pm On May 28, 2009
I always appeal for no 3rd parties allowed. cool
I did not wed in a church so i might not have first hand information BUT i think,Pastors or Priests shld to some extent try to make peace btw any couple that they wedded IF such couples come calling with any problem.
Again,It depends on the kind of problem though,if its something do with the extended family,i think the priest/pastor might have to refer them to the family. undecided
The scenario,u created however, the couple invited the priest/pastor after seperation so what else do they expect  huh
