Chae: Bro please can you put me tru on how to make use of Google map to look for alternative route, av been having issue with riders on it. Rider keep saying I went to go and take long journey so that my their bill wil fAT. Pls I think I don't know how to make use of it accurately. You can never please them all, they will blame you for there family problem, if you like fly dey will blame you for flying to there location. Just know roads and ask them there preferred rout, some will tell you to follow where there's no traffic, and you now follow ur mind, and meet traffic they will blame you and say it's intentional, it's everyday something just pray you don't meet such people. |

pooozeee: [b]The request came in around 11:45am today, I accepted it and drove off to the pickup location upon my arrival, my rider to pickup was completely naked as in no bra, no panties and no cloths on her, 2 other women in her company said pls allow her in ur vehicle and let's drive to area G police station, it was a dangerous case, I rejected and said no way I can never drive in such condition then the two women in the naked woman's company brought out their ID and said police dectective, your are obliged to obey and drive off to the police station as we av a very serious criminal case to handle, you are however mandated to obey our command as your service is urgently required by the Nigerian law I said thank God I am not in trouble today they all came in and I drove off, while on the trip I informed all my riders that by uber law, no one should be allowed into my vehicle in such condition most especially when I feel unsafe to drive my rider to their destination They all kept quiet no comment, after I ended the trip, the pay was 900 NAIRA, the detective just gave me 1,500 and said you are free to leave now, upon reaching the station gate, I heard a very loud gunshot gbosha gbosha gbosha 3ice, I looked back and I saw the woman arrested already dead on the floor... Oluwabengz: Got a request on Uber, pick up point was Osborne II, got to the location, packed under a shade and turned the engine off. After like 6mins, the woman came out, got into my car and asked me to wait that someone is bringing something for her inside the house, and I said OK. She asked me to start the car and put on the AC while we wait and I told her that means I'm gonna start the trip while we wait and to my biggest surprise, she said and I quote; "isn't the trip already started? The trip should have started immediately you accepted the request" and I said it doesn't work that way. after every, the woman tip me 1k These remind me, of one request I got sometime last year, got to pick up location, called the lady that I have arrived, she came out after 15min of my arrival, by then I had already put off my engine and AC, she got in, I wanted to start the car and start the trip, she said my friend is coming too, so I did not start the car again, she started complaining that I should put on the AC as the car is so hot, I told her that means am starting the trip, she said no don't start the trip, just put on the AC first so when her friend comes out, I will start trip, I refused, she was just murmuring Nawao this kind of driver self, she could not talk to me, I knew 1 star awaited me after the trip, waited like extra 5min, I told her am cancelling as I can't continue waiting for her friend, she said oya start the trip, I looked at her and am not going infact request another ride, coz I have cancelled, you can't come and spoil my rating |

@Tgiirl There's nothing like Samsung note 5 edge, think again, maybe you bought a Samsung note edge, which is the one with edge screen of Note 4. Am very sure, coz I used Samsung note 5, it was an excellent/beautiful phone, it was the last Samsung phone I used and said am not going back to samsung. The phone had battery issues, so I went to get a new battery for it, then the phone engineers did not know how remove the battery coz it was a sealed battery and was new then, while trying to remove the battery they burnt the screen with there heater, I went to price screen and I was told it was 110k for just the screen, I just sold the phone there for 30k and bought iphone and went home. |

MoonlightDrive: I know we shared the story of how fuel attendant cheat their clients. This almost happened to me today. I had just closed for the day and decided to just buy N2k fuel, incase i decide to start the hustle early tomorrow. I drove into mobil petrol station along awolowo road, ikeja, and told the attendant to sell 2k, fuel He asked whether cash or pos, i told him cash. of course i was on high alert for any funny move, we have discussed their various tricks, i even told him to wait, i got down from the car and ensured i was staring directly at the meter. He started to sell, and when he got to above N1,200, i decided to get my wallet, from getting my wallet to turning back i noticed his hand touched the fuel pump station, i really thought nothing of it, but i complained that he should have waited for me to at least see the quantity sold, he showed me the price which was N2k, but the quantity was not there, i again said he should have shown me the quantity, i really did not think he had played a fast one on me, he now said he can show me, he pressed a button and 10.xx litres read (must have pressed the wrong button), i failed to do a mental calculation, i just entered my car, looked at the gauge level and said this should be about N2k Instead of me driving off, i went to park beside the petrol station shopping mart, i was removing all my cables, and putting all stuff inside my bag. suddenly i heard a voice, oga, oga, i have been calling you that i did not finish selling you your fuel, here is your change and he gave me N500. The panicky fuel attendant thought i had done a mental calculation of 10.xx litres and i was packing my car about to come out, either to vent my anger or report him, he panicked and quickly ran to me to give me my N500 change. we should be more carefully, you sometimes wonder why we are not seeing the profit after a hard days work. So he sold 10litres to you for 2k.

Tgiirl: I'm have this gps issue on my new 4g LTE phone, and it has forced me to keep using my old phone for taxify..
I 've tried correcting it to high accuracy, still movement inaccurate making me doing 2 trips for 11k with 1k fuel.
Now I'm back to using my old phone b4 I'm blocked with the normal fare.
Therefore if u have any useful comment on how to solve GPS issue pls drop ur comment.

jaybim: That's my January... This week I'm well on course to hit my target... I de alagomeji since 11, ate and been feeling sleepy so i chilled...will resume at 2.
Started at 6 taken a 3hr break, close at 10
Also, budget like 3ltrs (30km) for repositioning, sometimes you need to. My tactics is simply to play the odds, places like mushin, very undesirable but I've never gone there to come out empty... Know why? Numbers... Thats why primewater view gardens, lagos island, vi at closing.. they so hot. Its the numbers. Take primewater for example, usually you find averge of 5 cars around, how many people do you think live in the 1 and 2. Play the numbers guys and you'll be fine. I agree some days are slow but generally you'll be fine. Every morning two eggs, I don't want to be ur rider after the egg consumption |

Joseph4dlord08: My own experience was a particular day at lekki chicken republic to be precise after the place restaurant. A rider requested and on getting to the pick up location believe me that this person wanted to put frozen chickens as in frozen chicken dripping the melted water on the floor. I told him I can't he asked why I said it gonna give my car offensive smell and I can't allow that he replied and said that's how other drivers do pick him saying I'm the first person to reject his request.
At this point it came back to my memory where riders in my car while discussing tells me that cars on uber and taxify now have bad odour and smell as well as mosquitoes bitting them in a car.
Each riders always comment on the neatness of my car.
Another incident was a request on the mainland around Mangoro when the rider had a live ram as in live cow requesting me to open the trunk for him to put a life ram and cow in my car.
Believe me people now abuse using uber and taxify all because everybody I mean majority can now afford to request because of the little amount at the end if the trip.
Na wa o ooo. Live what .?. RAM and COW inside uber, and you must put on AC for them |

MoonlightDrive: The Gurus have given you the trick to setting destination trips on uber! Setting destination trips on Uber can be annoying, especially where there's few drivers around, Uber will refuse you from setting destination. Your first trip of the day determines how the days work will be, that's why I use destination trip from my bed, Uber doesn't allow me, so Taxify does it for me. Uber should seriously work on that, secondly somebody will set destination going to the island, you will be getting Surulere

Even taxify is paying for waiting now after 5 mins Has Taxify ever paid you waiting time, if after 5 min rider decides to cancel, after cancellation you get nothing, Taxify is a fuxking scam. I remember waiting for over 20min, I called rider she told me am not going again, somebody just stabbed my boyfriend, just cancel it. . Didn't get paid a dime |

He boldly repeated the same thing... I nodded and flashed him a wry smile... Thanked him and zoomed tf outta his sight. Niiade: What he would have done is sell to someone maybe he or she brought 1000 or 700 then he won't start afresh he will continue from there and sell to you or option two they have tried that very well with me.
When they ask you how much and they input the figure, they start selling ensure you ain't looking and press a particular button that shows how much you wanted to buy and you would assume he has finished selling the fuel to you.
The last attendent to try it, I didn't even check I waited for him, there is a button that looks like X some it's like a circle with X, I wanted to buy 6K fuel, he sold up to 4575 and pressed the button to show 6k. I told him to press the button to show last sales and I must see it, when he pressed it I saw 4575, told him to call his manager he kept claiming nothing was wrong, then he knew I understood and he started begging and it was a pos transaction and I had receipt of what I paid for since he refused to call his manager told him to fill up my tank or I will wait for the manager. He filled up my tank and it was extra 5k fuel. Never went back to that station again. I think the first option was how he got me, I thought I observed well buh I guess I was wrong. |

izzou: Thats one of the best places to buy fuel, in my opinion
I think their corporate office is just beside the station. They wouldn't think of being fraudulent, in my opinion Let me tell you why I believe he did something, when I told him the amount I wanted, I was inside my car counting the money I wanted to pay him from, so immediately he started pumping, I wanted to come down to check the metre again, buh when I stood up, he was showing me something, like something fell from my car, and when I looked and saw nothing, he pretended like he wasn't talking to me, I believe that was when he did what he did, buh no problem, I will go back there tomorrow to buy that same amount of fuel, I want to confirm his tricks, and I must buy from that same guy. We learn everyday, will gist you tomorrow |
