What is the role of govt, is it not to emeliorate the suffering of it's citizens? The reason why IMF will tell you to remove the subsidy is because govt officials and the big boys were using it to enrich themselves at the expense of Nigeria.

I just joined 2 friends to squat with them pending when I will get employed and get my own place. In the last election, the leaders knew if they used that bait, they will use it to get votes from the indigenes and molest other predominant tribes residing in Lagos. In normal climes, this should not be an issue, it's just our leaders way of playing dirty politics, and they get support from thoughtless followers.

Whatever Lagos is enjoying today is as a result of the fact that it was the formal capital of Nigeria, when Nigeria was best at work.

After all, if Lagos is good, it's to the betterment of every foreigner, indigene, non-indigene residing in Lagos.

Dangote will never sell cheap, in short if they allow only him to produce fuel in Nigeria and ban importation of fuel, he will sell as high as 1200naira per litre just as the way he is selling his cement to Nigerians where we got the limestone from..

So let's stop dreaming. Except they open it for everyone to import then...the prices go balance well. Apart from that dangote will reap us dry.
