The good gesture of Jesus Christ is man-centric. He caters for everybody without bias, both in the word, materials, healing among others. The gospel of Jesus entrenches good manners to the poor, association with all and sundry without selection. Jesus’ message established that, both the poor and rich are created by God and He cherish their respective well-being in all wise. The rubrics and classical teachings of Jesus Christ can be found in the deeds of the materials Apostles. The aftermath of Christ’s resurrection sprouted good things that led to the expansion of the church on earth. For instance, all disciples (Christians) that time were all comfortable as they shared their material things. The scripture says: “None of their members was ever in want; all those who owned land or houses would sell them; bring the money from them, to present it to the apostles; and distributed to any members who might be in need" (Acts 4).
Attachment to material things in our contemporary Church is alarming. It is worth mentioning that, what Apostles or disciples concentrated on that time was more than religious obligations, but a huge heart of compassion and deep affection to mankind in the guise of the Holy Spirit. It is not easy to lay off ones’ property and submitting the proceeds to the Apostles who will appropriate it to the necessary quota for the common good of disciples. All these deeds and many more made the early church flourishing in the Spirit.
The church of God must intensify in their good works, to be tenacious in helping the needy among their members. In the early church according to the scriptures, non of them lack anything. The church today must also be proactive in the welfare of their members. Attempt can be made by listing the widows and other less privileged in their folds. The identification of these people in the churches can further bring succour to the church which are the members in it, for the common good of the society we live.

The LOVE of God to mankind has endured and pre-dates human existence. The creation of basic useful things that support human existence have been put in place by God. The air, sun, water and animals among others were all created by God before mankind. The inception of mankind on this planet is a function of God’s love. God Almighty is the CONTROLLER GENERAL and OWNER of the UNIVERSE (Psalm24). God encompassingly controls the world. God is compassionate, loving and rich in mercy (Exodus 34:6). Human wickedness from ages has been rampant and this has caused total destruction of mankind leaving only Noah and his household as the survival. Moses, a staunch intercessor in the history of mankind pleaded with God to relent not to destroy the people of Israelites on Mount Sinai; this was an offshoot of Israelites forgetfulness on the good deeds of God. Amidst the inordinate relationship between God and Israelites, God continued His unflinching love for them in several ways. At a particular time God warned His people, Israelites to change their ways and embrace love to fellow Israelites, but Israelites would not listen. Consequently, they were banished to exile where they suffered for good number of years.
The inability or nonchalant attitude of mankind in keeping God’s commandments has ensued lots of unpalatable occurrences among the people. For instance: God sents snakes to bite His people, subsequently, God indeed in this scenario, saved His people when they cried to Him for help; God sents epidemics among Israelites killing about 23,000 until Phinehas intervened and God instantly stopped the epidemic; God asked David to choose from 3-option, but David rather prefer to die in the hand of God, people died on this account, consequently, God had mercy on His people and David offered sacrifice to honour God. These few instances highlighted, are where God was angry with His people, God’s mercies always flourishes; all these are caused by humans sinfulness.
In the affluence of God’s love to mankind, Jesus Christ came as human but God in character and substance. He suffered primarily because of our sins, thereby putting us right with God through the shedding of His blood, thus given us redemption by His death. Jesus Christ has come and gone, now we are waiting for His second coming. He left, but actively with us by entrusting us to Holy Spirit, the Comforter. Holy Spirit is a typological stimulant in the believers. Holy Spirit controls the believers on doing just the right things and being constantly in fellowship with God. Fellowshipping with God in truth and Spirit is very important. It keeps us in constant communication with Him. Communication with God is very imperative; Abraham and Moses to mention a few have shown us an incredible power of communing with God. Communing with God in this context is termed “PRAYER”, which has been a veritable tool in the hand of believers. God cherish seeing his creatures depending solely and solely on Him for everything. God likes seeing us (Mankind) communicating (Praying) with Him, because He is our beginning and end; the Alpha and Omega, He holds our breath.
The act of communication is very powerful, it holds the world. A system that is devoid of healthy communication, such a system may crash. The power of this 21st Century is technically embedded in communication, information diffusion. The abridgement of communication among families is the beginning of colossal retrogression in such clime. Communication is very sacrosanct to the development of any place. This communication in respect to God is in “Prayer”.
The act of prayer will systematically leads us to true and authentic message of Christ through Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit masterminds the intents of God, thereby accentuating us to worthy and acceptable worship to God. Isaiah 58 has these to say:
● remove the chains of oppression and injustice;
● share your food with the hungry and open your doors to the poor;
● cover the naked; and
● help your relatives, among others.
Sequel to the above injunctions; God then said, if you can ensure or actualize all these:
● my favour will shine like morning Sun;
● Your wound will be quickly healed;
● I will always be with you to save you;
● my presence will be with you every side; and
● I will hear your prayers when you called.
The cursory analysis of the above injunctions and its consequences together with the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Book of Matthew 5, 6 and 7 show that mankind has drifted from the original teaching of Christ. The word of God is meant for mutual building and making the world a better place, thereby preparing us for heaven. If all Christians turned a new leave, I think the world and its people will see our example and consequently, amend their respective ways. Christians has to lead in good work and prayers thereby making the world a better place to live.
The responsibilities and survival of this “Planet Earth” is exponentially on mankind. To every action there must be a reaction vise versa. We must be mindful of our activities in the global scale. The activities of human beings in the planet should not be targeted towards ethnic cleansing either by impoverishment that leads to poverty, harsh judgement, injustice, amassing nuclear weapons and dangerous biomedical inventions. Biomedical inventions for example are good for the common benefits of mankind; but its quite dangerous to mankind when they are being used as weapons for fighting enemy thereby causing havoc to the Planet. Like I said earlier, God is in control of the world till date and forever. He punishes those He loves. A times He uses punishment as corrective measures among His people. He uses Assyria and king Nebuchadnezzar as whip for His children, Israelites. He does not just abandon them in their sufferings; He saves.
The current trending issues on the global scene is “Covid-19”. It has claimed many lives. This might be a way in which God is punishing the whole world due to our increasing sins and forgetfulness of God’s love to mankind. The pandemic as called; has locked people; young, old, learned, illiterate, rich and poor. It does not discriminate. This is a clarion call to mankind to have a rethink, in our homes, government affairs, religious bodies as well the research industries whose activities are solely meant to invent deadly weapons. It is time we intensify on strengthening our relationship with God in communication with Him. Our precious time which is own by God must be devoted to Him to a reasonable extent. Currently, good number of people are at home with unlimited time that is never sufficient before. I don’t have time, I don’t have time, here we are. This pandemic has revealed how weak we are as humans and we depends solely on God’s providence for mercy and healing.
At this time, what mankind needs is not just only prayers but sincere repentance we are all guilty. As Christians, our sole power is prayer. Prayer has worked before and prayer will still do it again. God’s anger does not last forever, with our humble prayers He will heal our nations for His name sake and the sorrowful passion of His Son Jesus Christ. May our prayers and sacrifices be acceptable to God Almighty thereby cleansing our land from current and likely future occurrences. May the soul’s of all the faithfuls departed through the mercy rest in peace. Amen!

PRECIPITATION OF THE SEASON
The price of congratulations is embedded in silent longsuffering of preparation. To some, it is a long time of learning and training; constant rehearsal; hard prayers; hardships/tears and silent traumatic emotions among others. Congratulations is the offshot to the people who can successfully journey through the above prices, to be paid up the ladder of greatness. Greatness or success which oftentimes results to congratulations has two legs; dedication and suffering. These two legs are oftentimes laced with confusion, doubts and uncertainties whether our aspirations and anxieties will ever be achieved or appropriated. In amidst of these doubts and uncertainties, positivity and right thinking with Faith in God must be aproned.
The reason for this glorious season is the birth of the Kings of king, the Mighty God. His birth as full human and full God does not just come suddenly; it a constellation of patience and docility of some people orchestrated by God the creator. These set of people who are docile to God Promptings; watered the soft landing of God sent. The all sufficient God can do anything He wants both in heaven and earth below, because He is the totality and originator of everything we can fathom. He can decides, His only Son appear on earth without any precursor, but God has chosen to bring His own Son known to whole world through earthens. In the process of God bringing forth His plans to whole world, reconciling us back to Himself; installing us to the glory we first enjoyed in the Garden of Eden. God has strived and caved a generation of holy people to Himself and so He found Abraham worthy for this task.
Abraham hitherto, is enjoying the fruit of greatness and unprecedented success in the salvific history of mankind laced in longsuffering, endurance, patience and absolute faith in what God has spoken. On the other hand, Moses, a very meek man of God, enjoyed honour from Israelites based on what God has done through him. In the same vein, he suffered a great deal. Subsequently, David, surfaced in the scene; by trying his best and God dearly loved him. Also, he suffered and briskly enjoyed the company of Israelites through dedication to his calling. Through the progeny of this great man, God brought forth His own Son to the world. In addition, the circumstances that besieged the birth of Virgin Mary and John the Baptist harbinger the dedication of some individuals to the original meaning of waiting upon the Lord. These people mentioned had played their respective roles in the advent of Son of God to the world. Here we are therefore, singing “joy to the world, the saviour is born.......”
We should also be ready to pay our own price towards building the body of Jesus Christ on earth for the crown of glory that awaits the faithfuls in heaven which is the culmination of the supreme congratulations in the Kingdom of God, the sum total of our sojourn on earth.

EXALTATION OF THE CROSS
Literarily cross is a wooden frame at right angle to long axis. In another climes, cross could be termed affliction that causes great suffering. The focus in this context is the wooden cross where Jesus Christ was hanged. The wooden cross has been the plan of God for His only Son, for the redemption of mankind. God in the old testament commanded Moses to make a serpent and hang it on a standard. Moses went ahead made a bronze serpent; that anyone who gazed at it will be saved (Numbers 21:4-9). Ordinarily, bronze serpent is useless with zero power to save; but at the command of God the bronze serpent turns a miraculous entity. In addition, if people of Israel failed or defiled the command of God by not looking at the bronze serpent, the power that God has bestowed on the bronze serpent will not be tap rather be redundant. On the other hand, Jesus Christ died on a wooden cross. The cross serves as burden upon Him from the Gabbatha to the Golgotha and later nailed to the cross.
The wood that was selected by chance in the forest to frame the cross of Jesus Christ was a lucky wood, among the countless number of woods in the forest, perhaps one or two trees were used. These tree(s) and Simon of Cyrene were both lucky to have encountered Jesus profoundly and anguishly. The tree will prefer to continue to be blossom or flourished in the bush, but suddenly, demand was made for its life and consequently was cut into pieces. Likewise, Simon of Cyrene on his volition would not have thrust himself to the crowd and help Jesus to carry His cross, he was beckoned upon to assists Jesus Christ. These two examples cited above, were caricature of nobody before in their respective domains; for the fact that they responded to promptings of God they were being remembered for all time.
Jesus Christ is the foundation or conceptual framework for an effective or worthy Christian living. A perfect example of divine purity. He has called us; by virtue of our baptism we have been called into His fold. Oh! how lucky are we? Just like the people of old were gazing upon the bronze serpent let not also forget to be gazing at Jesus Christ on the cross. If bronze serpent could be powerful by the injunction of God, how come then the crucifix of Jesus Christ will not be powerful when blessed by ordained man of God. Above all, what God demand from u s who has been called is holiness, without it, we cannot see God.

Catholic doctrines teaches that Mary is Co- Redeemer with Jesus. meaning that she worked together with Christ to redeem Man. before we debate if Mary is Co-Redeemer or not we will look at the reason why Jesus had to die and the qualities that qualify Jesus as our Redeemer and if mary fits into the title.

God's law demands death as the penalty for any one who breaks or transgresses God's law.Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

when Adam and Eve sinned against God. the penalty of sin which is death was passed over the entire human race(including Mary). Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.)

The only way to satisfy the just requirements of the law was for Humanity to face the death penalty or for someone without sin to die in place of man. even God could not set the law and it's penalty outside inorder to save man.Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

So God offered his Son who had no sin to take the place of man to die as a ransom for man's sin.

Facts to note about the Redeemer.
1. Only a person without sin could be accepted as a scarifical lamb or ransom for sin.1 Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
This point disqualifies Mary because she had Sin and looked up to Jesus as her saviour.
Luke 1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

2* Jesus died and resurrected from the grave 3days after his death demonstrating his power over death Mary died and is still in the grave Like the other saints waiting for the day of Resurrection. this point disqualifies Mary.
John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.

3*. Jesus was exalted and given the role of a mediator between God and man. Mary was not given any title or role by God therefore this point also disqualifies her.(1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.)

Mary died and was buried she did not die for the world she did not suffer more than the other apostles.
if there were people we could consider as Co- redeemers why not Stephen the first matyr or John the Baptist or paul and many others who died for the gospel , yet these people are not qualified they died only for their faith and personal salvation their righteousness will not be credited to another person or the entire humanity, only the righteousness of Jesus is credited to us.

As I have clearly stated Mary and no one else is qualified to be called Co- Redeemer Christ alone bore the penalty of Sin and gave his life for me,you and the entire world Christ alone is our sole Redeemer. Catholics calling mary Co-Redeemer is totally blasphemous and unscriptural they should please desist from this. Paul and the early Apostles never mentioned Mary as Co-Redeemer he and other apostles preached only about Jesus nothing more or less. thank you.

How are u sure that Mary is having the guilt of original sin (sin of our first parent)? if God is powerful to extent that He Overshadowed Mary to conceive Jesus don't u think that it is possible for Him to do it that the mother of Our Saviour will be born without sin? though Catholic believe that mary is immaculate conception which I believe too. How can sinful person from birth give birth to Son of most High God who is sinless? though , God is powerful He can do anything He wills. But evil cannot beget good. good will always beget good. The Biblical concept that “Jesus Christ is God” has raised a lot of dust regarding His authenticity across religions as truely God and truely human. First, the basis of my believe and explanations is the Holy Bible. Second, the person of the Holy Spirit whom Jesus Christ refers to as “Him” is God and He is the third person of the Trinity; Jesus Christ the Son of Almighty God the creator of heaven and earth is also God (Jesus Christ), He is the second person of the Trinity while God Almighty the maker of everything (heaven and earth) is the first person of the Trinity. These viewpoints portray the existence of Triune God in One person, with distinctive duties in the history of mankind. All of them co-exist in pure and unalloyed LOVE that can never be asundered.
The nature and substance of God Almighty is love, the creator of heaven and earth. Out of love God Almighty created human beings and placed them in the Garden of Eden; that great deceiver, deceived our fore-fathers with empty promises. Unfortunately they yielded to the temptation of the evil one. Consequently, they lost that divine nature in which God Almighty had created them with. Following the moment human being lost his divine nature; God has already planned the restoration of mankind back to his divine nature in love. Divine nature does not: die, weep, face hardship, feel hunger and Labour among others. Our fore-fathers eat from that tree of death and they were banished from the Beautiful Garden.
God Almighty created the universe with the “Word”, this same word was sent by God Almighty to rescue His work (human-being) from eternal destruction true sin. Sin is that enigma that build wall between us and God. The word that came from God which God Himself cherish so much came in flesh redeeming His creatures. This word is that GREAT LIGHT that shines over His subjects (good and bad) during the day; this represents the presence of God. The Light of God illumines the whole heaven and this same Light has descended to the earth. This Word was born to us in the person of JESUS CHRIST. Jesus is the Light and the Word, that dwells among men of goodwill. The Word itself is life, a life eternal. Our fore-fathers disobeyed the Word and we in contemporary time are called to obey the Word.
God Almighty, dated from the fall of mankind has been devising means of restoring mankind to Himself. He entered unfailing covenant with Father of Faith (Abraham). Through the seed of this man of faith, God Almighty fashioned a generation for Himself that will serve Him in Truth and Spirit. His precepts and ordinances will be in their hearts. The heart of stone will be replaced with flesh fraught with Spirit of Mercy and Prayer. His descendants both young and old will be filled with the Holy Spirit of great power doing extraordinary things that flesh cannot do.
In this process of restoration, God called Moses in Egypt to lead His people to the place He has promised their ancestors. Moses responded with a question in acceptance of the task, “what is your name?” and the Great Man in Battle answered him “I AM WHO I AM” (Exodus, 3:14). God mandated Moses, tell them that ‘I am Who I am’ has sent you to them. God Almighty in this encounter with Moses refers to Himself as “I AM WHO I AM”. Similarly, Jesus Christ rebuked the Pharisees and Scribes of their evils deeds. Jesus continued in that encounter that, “I AM WHO I AM (John, 8: 24; Good News)” repent and believe in the Gospel if not you will all die in your sins. If God Almighty is I AM WHO I AM and Jesus Christ His Son says I AM WHO I AM, then Jesus Christ is God. This Jesus Christ is the Word who created the world out of love. The world was created with great command of words; sea cannot pass its boundary while animals cannot go haywire against man, everything created has its limits with the word with unfathomable wisdom the first gift of the Holy Spirit.
The concept that Jesus Christ is Son of God is rooted in the Holy Bible not in other Spiritual Books outside Christianity. But rationally, can God have a Son? Does it mean that God has a wife? Yes God can have a Son without a wife or woman. The Holy Bible revealed that Jesus Christ was conceived without His parents having knowledge of each other. Also, Holy Bible established that Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and she conceived the Saviour of the world (Jesus Christ). Holy Spirit overshadowed Mary and she conceived; and Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, meaning Holy Spirit is also God. Does Holy Spirit had intercourse with Mary? NO! If Holy Spirit can perform all these miraculously without having an affair with human then God can rationally and Biblically have a Son without consummation. The move of the Holy Spirit can never be completely understood by mankind. God who created heaven and earth can do just everything, to fulfil His word. God told Moses, He said, ‘I am God’, is there anything difficult for me to do? And definitely nothing is difficult for God to do. He created the world outside the world, that means He is more than the world. He mould the world, He can decide to destroy it and re-mould it. Summarily, what I am driving at here is that, God can have a Son without knowledge of a woman. Because He is all powerful God. These set of people too are qualified to eat from the tree of life, the person of Jesus Christ.

Dearest!........According to the Psalmist, everything on earth belongs to God. God is actively in charge of every nation, including its governance. He is in charge of all things for His own glory and that is why He reignes in majesty. If He likes, He can choose a leader to correct, punish and to bless His people. He is God, we are his creatures. He does anything He likes purposely for our common good. He is God not humanbeing, rich in love and compasion.
However, when there is a vestigial social chaos or disorder in a system, caused by some parts of the system; attaining turnaround within such a system might be difficult. Nigeria as a nation is a system with components characterised of: ethnicity, diverse culture, religious and complex core values occsioned by our background and other social factors. This phenomenon affects our behaviour and general perception of things around us.
Moreover, success don't just come on a platter of gold, it has to pass through stages of development with utmost sincerity. Success or breakthrough must come after toughness of different guise; but with prayer and hardwork succes must be recorded. Success is not sporadic or spontaneous as many people agitated, it has to be strategic and systemic in approach. In a way, success cannot be packaged as a gift, work is the pass code.
Nigeria has started another race of four years with mixed reactions from Nigerians home and abroad. Whatever happens to Nigeria we must acknowledge that God knows about it, He is in charge of Nigeria no body else.
In bringing change or development, there must be hurdles to be surmounted, difficulties must be encountered.
In a nutshell, it is quite pertinent for Nigeria to shun negative words and move on. Nigeria is our Jerusalem. Let's pray for peace of Nigeria and support the government. Sentimentalism, sectionalism and tribalism and media tantrums cannot land us our esteemed Nigeria. Remember it is not easy to govern people, let's appreciate our leader, it is not easy to campaign for election in Nigeria setting, those who are courageous enough to run for one post or the other have all tried, no winner no loser we are all Nigerians. hmmnnnn........sorry about dat my sister in the Lord......I am a Catholic faithful too, don't conclude like dat, u suppose to go back and c d priest and explain how disturbed are u concerning such an embarrassment. Anyway, i don't really blame d priest from my point of view......because Catholic dont take those issues lightly ...........the body of Christ in catholism is exclusively for practising Catholics who are in state of grace. However, for the fact that your are an Anglican faithful before does not qualify you being a communicant in Catholic church. so humbly exhort your husband to put u through classes in d church so dat u can be qualified..........qualification here, is u, must have attained some classes about d church and others things. it is only Baptism that Catholic church accept from Anglican, African and Methodist church......summarily sister don't be annoyed for being denied that right, continue going to church, so far u worship God in truth and spirit God will listen to ur prayers.......meanwhile as a matter of prime necessity realign yourself with church and get incorporated fully by joining catechism classes.....and if paraventure you have done all these just meet the priest and explanin things to him, he is human being, he will surely make adjustment for you. God loves you ma!

The issue of blessed virgin mary shouldn't be problematic to any Christian, Muslims says, Jesus cannot be son of God, talk less being God..........now other Christian aside Catholic, believe that Mary cannot be Mother oF God. 2000 years back, alot of things had happened. Mary as co-madiatrix, no doubt she has been heping the mankind from ages. mary is a power woman and she has help the the church.
