I see this sadistic approach as diversionary and could backfire as the banks are "DESTROYING THEIR DEBTORS AND THEIR BUSINESSES" instead of finding the root cause of their problems and finding solutions. If these debtor guys are 419ers, I bet you, they wont care a hoot about these publications, and how many Nigerians care about these debtors, anyway? Some of the banks are facing litigations already for there is always inside abuse in these type of transactions. If you kill your debtors, the chances of recovering your debt is very minimal and surely you might face murder charge if our learned friends can prove the bank's publication led to the High Blood Pressure that killed the debtor. The common man is interested in the oil thieves that stole our money and oil thus depriving us of our democratic dividends. WE NEED THEIR NAMES PUBLISHED SOONEST! Nigerian banks are bad lenders, bypassing due diligence as they chase their so called HIGH NET WORTH CUSTOMERS for business at the detriment of millions of Small Businessmen and Entrepreneurs who seriously need these loans. Their records are very unreliable and so are their high interest charges (most times not communicated and agreed with their customers). Smart ones amongst will declare themselves BANKRUPT and will escape and I bet you...you can never find any SMEs on the banks' lists. The banks should carry their burden and that why there are Provisions for Bad Debts! |
If the man constructed a flyover to tackle this menace during his tenure, some of his kinsmen will surely be the first to petition EFCC now he is no longer on seat. Can't satisfy Naija people. It's better for him to have his freedom than to rot in jail .....after-all his appointment was not an elective post but most likely on personal recognition and merit! |
Throwing the first stone at the woman accused of Adultery by a faceless group. Please unmask yourself to make your allegations credible. If an NGO, let us know who registered such with CAC. Integrity and co...what of others in APC camp or is it cowardice or "bad belle"? |
Sometime last year, I visited a Police station in Lagos on a different mission but was stunned to see the many bicycles parked in the station. I confronted the DPO on this and he told me that they were confiscated from children who rode dangerously in the streets. So, I mellowed down. But now that riding bikes is gaining popularity in Nigeria especially Lagos, the State Govts thru FRSC/LASTMA can create a combined Bicycle/Pedestrian Lanes for bikers while enacting the appropriate laws. This move will lessen the pressure on fuel consumption in this country while providing a greener environment, amongst other benefits. |
As at Monday, 3rd August 2015, 8.30pm, the danger still looms. Residents are living in fear of the electric wire and pole/s collapsing on them. Phone calls and delegations are being made daily but to no avail. Has NEPA/PHCN/IKEDC not heard about this CHANGE in the air? Meanwhile, I am surprised that EFCC with it's found mandate has to deemed it fit to pick up any staff of NEPA/PHCN/IKEDC whether serving or retired? God save us from the hands of these wicked people. |
God is your strength! Carry Go ...our great ambassador! |
You don't need all that delegation once you have nothing to fear! Not unexpected as our honorable members were not busy then. And please let her prove her innocence as this "delegation" is sending some wrong signals to EFCC and Nigerians! |
Wetin U Carry? |
Ogbo Hill version of Sharia Law or Self Help? |

Congrats...We can all see what merit is all about! |

UPDATE ON PHCN/IKEDC ROTTEN ELECTRIC POLES: Having waited for months for the PHCN/IKEDC to rescue the residents of this street from the impending calamity of fallen and rotten electric poles (the during this windy rainy season), Residents came up with this move. The instructive letter speaks for itself but raises a lot of questions than answers. Mine for now is...WHAT IS THE DUTY OF THIS 419 DUO OF PHCN/IKEDC? Please can our President and the APC give us the change we voted for by sanitizing this monstrous and uncaring organs called IKEDC/PHCN before we resort to self-help. Again, if we buy and install the poles, are they tax deductible or better deductible from our outrageous bills? This nonsense must stop! Please Oga Buhari save our souls and LIVES ...NOW!...by instructing these people to do their work, for God's sake! We cannot continue like this.

Set a thief to catch a thief! We are watching! Why can't we Scrap the National Assembly to save the Party (and Nigeria) if it is possible? |
He might be sick. I noticed he is not armed (can't see any) but he removed his cap and carefully tucked it under his arms...perhaps as a mark of respect and bowing to nature! All said, it shows policemen are also human beings! |
Good for the People! And don't forget ONLY GOD'S WILL WILL BE DONE! GODWIN! |
Is this the CHANGE we voted for? God save Nigeria! |
Oh My God! |
NASS HOUSE..... PLEASE REMEMBER....NO WORK NO PAY....FIGHTING IN PUBLIC ATTRACTS SANCTIONS....NO IMMUNITY TO FIGHT...POLICE PLEASE NOTE!
|
HYPOCRISY OF THE HIGHEST ORDER.....exposing States owing salaries of 11 months and less but theirs is up to 17months...HABA AIT/RAYPOWER? WHY NOW? All that money wey una make from GEJ and TANoids, wey e-dey? Pay these poor workers SHARP-SHARP and no contract staff. He who goes to equity must go with clean hands....but I still love you! |
A bad decision is better than no decision at All! God help Nigeria! |
No one can kill an idea whose time is ripe! GOD DEY! |
THE REAL DANGER TO NIGERIA IS THESE PEOPLE IN THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY WHO HAVE DECIDED TO MARGINLIZE THE S/E AND S/S. ...AND HAVE NO SHAME IN FIGHTING THEMSELVES IN THEIR GREEDY QUEST FOR POWER! GOD DEy!
|
SHAME.........SHAME......SHAME! REMEMBER NO WORK NO PAY....FIGHTING ATTRACTS SANCTIONS....RECALL THEM OR SUSPEND THE WHOLE HOUSE, WE DONT NEED THEM! |
WHERE ARE SOUTH-EAST, SOUTH-SOUTH, ETC IN ALL THIS ARRANGEE NONSENSE? APC LEADERS PLEASE BEWARE OF YOUR MOTIVES AND ACTIONS FOR THIS IS THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA AND NOT LAGOS STATE. |
I hope this is not the type of change we voted for! WE NEED ACTION....ACTION....AND MORE ACTION, PLEASE OGA PMB! |
Since you guys in APC did not recognize his Speakership, why do you write to him? You guys ought to be ashamed of yourselves and should be recalled immediately by your constituents. Meanwhile I urge the masses of this country to ask for the scrapping of this irresponsible house. They are simply fighting over who presides over the sharing of our National Wealth which they intend to loot via their JUMBO PAY! Meanwhile time is running and would be paid for doing nothing other fighting over nothing! GOD SAVE NIGERIA! |
"On Tuesday, the party wrote the two leaders directing them to adopt candidates who lost at the elections as principal officers. In its letter, the party picked Mr. Lawan as Senate Leader; Sola Adeyeye as Chief Whip; George Akume as Deputy Senate Leader; and Abu Ibrahim as Deputy Whip. For the House Representatives,Mr. Gbajabiamila is the party’s choice to emerge House Leader, while Mohammed Monguno would serve as Chief Whip; Alhassan Doguro Deputy Speaker; and Pally Iriase as Deputy Whip." Where are South East and South South Regions in these bizarre appointments or arrangements? Some of these selfish still think they are in Oduduwa State or Arewa State forgetting that they are now holding a Federal Govt. |
“Even if Nigerians decide to wait endlessly, we wonder how much the President can achieve amidst the flip-flops from his presidency and cacophony of interests from his party leaders struggling to enlarge their selfish political and economic frontiers," the party said. if there is anything I have in short supply it is patience with these politrickcians. Let noone take Naija for a ride and these hawks in APC should know we did not vote for LEADERSHIP CRISIS. The era of winner takes all is over...afterall Nigeria belongs to all. What is on the ground now is that some part of this country is inconsequential. Nigeria cannot afford to repeat history. |
