I hear you
Keep blaming them
Who else do we blame?

When the military ruled they added military armament to our military equipment but then after they left and PDP came and stayed for 16yrs ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS ADDED FOR A WHOLE 16YRS

So who should I blame when it was after Buhari came that our military again began receiving military equipment and upgrades.

Who then should we blame? Should we blame the one who is now adding and upgrading or the one who failed to add a bullet in 16yrs?

Why not face the problem and leave PDPhuh
The problem is and has always been PDP. Period.

They had 16yrs and did absolutely nothing but looting the nation blind. Is it a lie that after Shehu Shagari PDP never added one armament to our military? Is it a lie?

Stormtrooper11:
The Nigerian Airforce Jaguar Jets are fighter bombers which were purchased in the early 80s by the shehu shagari administration. They were 18 in number. The planes had to be retired early in the mid 1990s during the Abacha regime due to sanctions and lack of spares and had a low service time. It was the most advanced aircraft purchased by the Nigerian Airforce until the arrival of the JF-17 fighter aircraft in 2021.
So after Shehu Shagari when PDP ruled for 16yrs they never deemed it fit to upgrade our military armaments?

It took Buhari to come and do those upgrades.

PDP is beyond a failure of a party

PDP started their court case in August 2021 and while the case was ongoing, Umahi got his Abakaliki judgment on 28th of Feb 2022.
Umahi went to court on the 4th Feb and by 28th he got the judgement he wanted.
Why didn't Umahi wait for the verdict of the high court in Abuja?
Why should he wait? Why didn't the PDP speed up their own?

The corruption in our military is endemic and pervasive, a lot of money earmarked for military hardwares has been looted for decades leaving our armed forces in a sorry state.

We should be able to have these sophisticated weapons as a country, no one can predict the future
Yes we have all of those helicopter gunships na. PDP bought all of them during their 16 yrs of amazing rule.

Every penny meant for arming our military was all accounted for and spent wisely.

In fact GEJ fully paid for an additional 113 helicopter gunships before he left office.

Why can't they just fit the train stations with diesel dispensing points so Everytime a train stops at the station and has a need to refuel it can quickly and easily do that before pulling out again

This though was clearly an act of negligence by the staff of the train or even the driver directly because the train has fuel gauge which clearly displays the fuel level

The reality is that Russia has been hit with Sanctions 100 times worse than what North Korea is facing and they are crumbling quickly and terribly. It is not a pretty sight being sent backward by 50yrs due to Sanctions.

Ukraine on the other hand has a lot of helpers so will rebuild easily and will be stronger than how they started.

The top editor of a Russian state-run media outlet who resigned in protest of President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine last week is warning that the world could be in danger of a nuclear war.

Maria Baronova, the editor-in-chief of RT, stepped down last week after publicly criticizing the invasion, telling her followers on the encrypted Telegram messaging service: “Our granddads didn’t fight for this.”

The Moscow-based journalist fears that the bloody invasion of Ukraine won’t stop there.

“The problem is, I know these people very well,” Baronova told Fox News Digital.

Foreign AffairsCoca-cola And Pepsico Suspend Operations In Russia by Igbofam(op): 3:34pm On Mar 09, 2022
The Coca-Cola Co. and PepsiCo on Tuesday said they will suspend their business in Russia, joining other leading U.S. brands in boycotting the country amid its invasion of Ukraine.

“Our hearts are with the people who are enduring unconscionable effects from these tragic events in Ukraine,” Coca-Cola said in a statement Tuesday afternoon. “We will continue to monitor and assess the situation as circumstances evolve.”

Coca-Cola, which operates several bottling plants in Russia, did not provide further details about the move.

PepsiCo said that it will suspend its soft drink sales and capital investments in Russia. The company said that it will support its 20,000 Russian workers and continue to sell other products such as milk and baby food for humanitarian reasons.

The soft drink giants made their announcements shortly after McDonald’s and Starbucks said that they would suspend their operations in Russia.

American firms are under immense public pressure to cut ties with Russia, and severe Western sanctions also complicate their ability to do business in the country. Multinational corporations, including retailers, tech companies, banks and accounting firms, are fleeing Russia as much of the international community condemns Russian President Vladimir Putin’s violent attacks on Ukraine.

“We continue to watch the tragic events unfold and, today, we have decided to suspend all business activity in Russia, including shipment of all Starbucks products,” Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson wrote in a letter to stores Tuesday, adding that the company will provide support for its 2,000 Russian employees.

McDonald’s said Tuesday that it will temporarily close its 850 restaurants in Russia in light of the humanitarian crisis, noting that it will continue to pay its 62,000 Russian employees.

High blood pressure. People end up eating anything and drinking everything all in the name of "enjoying life" without realizing that the older you get, the more careful of what you eat or drink you should become.

So many die avoidable deaths that a little adjustment in diet should have averted.

As you grow older grow leaner with far less body fat rather than growing fatter.

Orobo no be enjoyment

What of Amaechi's case when he became governor in 2007?

Election was already completed, and the PDP candidate sworn in.

5 months later, the supreme court ruled that Amaechi is the original candidate of the PDP, and he should be sworn in instead.

Also, Amaechi's tenure expired 4 years after the initial guy was sworn in (not 4 years after he was sworn in).

This was a totally different situation. It was a party issue based on who the valid candidate was and not an issue of cross carpeting

Foreign AffairsMcdonald’s Temporarily Closes 850 Restaurants In Russia. Suspends Operations. by Igbofam(op): 7:33pm On Mar 08, 2022
McDonald’s, citing “the needless human suffering unfolding in Ukraine,” announced Tuesday it will temporarily close 850 locations in Russia. The decision came nearly two weeks after Russian forces invaded its ex-Soviet neighbor.

CEO Chris Kempczinski wrote in a letter to franchisees and employees that the chain will pause all operations in Russia. However, it will continue to pay its 62,000 Russian employees, and its Ronald McDonald House Charities will continue to operate.

In recent days, the fast-food giant has drawn criticism for staying silent on the war, given its relatively large Russian footprint. McDonald’s restaurants in Russia and Ukraine account for 2% of its systemwide sales, roughly 9% of its revenue and 3% of its operating income.

McDonald’s has long played a symbolic role in Russia as well. The chain opened its first location in the Soviet Union 32 years ago in Moscow, months before the state collapsed.

“In the thirty-plus years that McDonald’s has operated in Russia, we’ve become an essential part of the 850 communities in which we operate,” Kempczinski wrote in his letter. “At the same time, our values mean we cannot ignore the needless human suffering unfolding in Ukraine.”

About 84% of McDonald’s Russian locations are owned by the company, while the rest are operated by franchisees. Owning more of its restaurants generates greater revenue for the company, but opens it up to greater risk in times of turmoil or economic downturn.

Kempczinski said it is impossible to predict when McDonald’s would be able to open its Russian restaurants. The company is experiencing supply chain disruptions and other operational challenges.

He also said McDonald’s is paying full salaries for Ukrainian employees and has donated $5 million to its employee assistance fund. The company is monitoring the humanitarian situation as well.

McDonald’s announcement comes after Yum Brands said it would suspend restaurant development and investment in Russia. The KFC owner has more than 1,000 restaurants in Russia that account for roughly 2% of its systemwide sales.

Starbucks hasn’t yet paused any of its Russian operations, where all of its cafes are run by franchisees. The coffee chain has about 130 locations across Ukraine and Russia. However, CEO Kevin Johnson condemned the Russian attack on Ukraine and vowed to donate royalties from its Russian business to humanitarian causes in Ukraine.

That is the best thing to do, were are govern by law and order, we are not in Banana Republic. Mind you that someone can use this court ruling to thwart the outcome of this amendment if it's not stand down by the court. Just like what happened in Rivers state in 2019 election, the court ruled that they should not conduct a primary election, they ignored it saying that the court has no right to middle in the party affairs instead going back to court to argued their case, they unilaterally disobeyed, we know the outcome of that.
The Judiciary turned it into a Banana republic by getting involved in what their powers do not cover. Thus that Court ruling is null and void. Our constitution is very clear on this.

Stop this your argument please. There is a clear line of separation of powers between the Executive, Legislature and the Judiciary.

The Judiciary is a tout in this regard and that Judge who gave that ruling should be either sanctioned or disbarred.

The example you cited above has nothing to do with the Legislative arm of government. That is a party problem
