Politics › Re: Chibuike Amechi Is My Name, I Am Igbo From Ikwere And Ikwere People Are Igbo. by Igboid: 1:07am On Jul 28, 2020
Like I keep saying. An individual does not exist in isolation from his society. A man belongs to his society.
Ogbakor Ikwerre is an anti Igbo group that under Elechi Amadi painted Ndiigbo as demons for decades and have maintained that Ikwerre has no relationship whatsoever with Igbos but are rather Bini people who stumbled upon Igbo language.
Rivers state government funds Ogbakor Ikwerre,Amaechi as the governor of Rivers state financed Ogbakor Ikwerre and never for once questioned their Igbophobic stance. Infact, Amaechi remains a member of this anti Igbo group till today.
It's also note worthy to remember how Amaechi notoriously asked GEJ to stop treating Rivers state like Biafrans (Igbos) when Rivers state lost some oil wells to Bayelsa state under GEJ watch. Amaechi was indirectly reminding GEJ that marginalization and disenfranchisement is the lot of Igbos and not Rivers state people that he is part of.
Little wonder that under Amaechi tenure as Transport Minister , AIIA Enugu has been reduced to nothing, and SE was totally bypassed in the railway project.

If Amaechi believes he is Igbo. He should take up his case with Ogbakor Ikwerre which he is a member of.
Let Ogbakor Ikwerre tender unreserved apology to Ndiigbo for all falsehoods and wrong accusation they have levied against Ndiigbo and fed Ikwerre people since 1970. Let them apologize for the historical distortions they had embarked on since 1970. Let them prevail on Wike to rename the structure named after Gowon in PH. After all, you cant be Israeli and be having structures named after Hitler in your place. Except of course, you are an impostor.
Ogbakor Ikwerre should do all this and publish on national dailies.
Then Ndiigbo would deliberate on whether to retake Ikwerres or not.

And when we do. The Ikwerres would not start from the top, they will start from the bottom to regain the trust of other Igbo clans.
This means that Amaechi cannot be talking of being an Igbo president. He should be proving his people loyalty to the Igbo cause by supporting an Igbo presidency with his resources and connections.
That way he sows seed for Ikwerres in Igbo Union. So that next time, which will probably not be in Amaechi lifetime we need to choose an Igbo leader or Nigerian presidency of Igbo origin, we can consider Ikwerres.
Until then, Ogbakor Ikwerre which Amaechi is a bona-fide proud member of, remains the mouth piece of Ikwerres, and the verdict remains that Ikwerre are Bini people.

This is how things are done. We can't all be mad in Igboland. Things have order.

presidential seat.

Mr Obi, the vice presidential candidate of Nigeria’s main opposition party (PDP), said Mr Amaechi is not from the Southeast and, therefore, in no position to write the region off from the next presidential election.

Mr Amaechi, a former governor of River State in a recent interview with Sun Newspaper said the Igbos have nothing to bring in negotiating for 2023 presidency.

“I don’t know what they will do now for voting against the APC. For refusing to support the APC, they cannot come to the table to demand the presidency slot.

“For people like us in the APC, if the Igbos had come and voted Buhari, they would boldly tell Mr President and the National Chairman of the party that the presidency should go the Southeast since the South-south; South-west and North-west have produced a president.

“What argument would the Southeast come up with now to convince anybody that they deserve the slot for 2023 president?”

Responding, Mr Obi said he (Amaechi) is not in any position to make such statements because “even he that is in APC; he did not contribute anything to the success of that election,” the Nation Newspaper reported.

“He did not even achieve anything in his own state. Those of us from the Southeast who are from the PDP contributed to the success of our
The PDP in my state got 95 per cent. They (APC) didn’t even get 25 per cent in Rivers State. So he is not competent to speak on the Presidency in 2023.”
This is Peter Obi, a real Igbo man refuting the Bini Ikwerre man Amaechi who now wants to impersonate Ndiigbo.

The above is Amaechi talking not long ago.
Look at the above and tell me how Amaechi is Igbo?

He addressed Ndiigbo as "they" , showing he knows he isn't one.

The worst part of the whole problem is whenever there is trouble Ikwerres akways run to Igbos for safety they will not go to their Benin brorhers grin if Nigerian eventually split they will surely run to Igbos instead of their Nigerdelta republic becayae i am sure ijaws and ibibio will treat their fuckup grin
I believe the Ikwerres can take care of themselves.
There are smaller ethnic groups in Northern Cross River than Ikwerre, and they are doing just fine.
Ikwerres will do just fine on their own.

But what will not be allowed to happen is for them to leech on Ndiigbo.

They are not Igbos, and should not under any circumstances benefit from the Igbo union.
No Ikwerre person should be allowed to be a member of any Igbo union.
Unless we are now going to admit other non Igbos into our union as well.
Infact, we can as well allow Yorubas to be members of Ohaneze Ndiigbo as there are no difference between Yorubas and Ikwerre as far as sentiments towards the Igbo is concerned, Yorubas are even better than Ikwerre. I know I would embrace Yorubas as friends before embracing Ikwerre.

Amaechi for instance should be dragged, embarssed and disgraced for trying to impersonate Ndiigbo by claiming Igbo, when he and his people are not Igbos but confused Bini people .
I'm not a lawyer, but I believe that impersonation should be a crime punishable by the law.

An Igbo body need to sue Amaechi and drag him to court for impersonating Ndiigbo.
Nothing might come out of it. But it should humiliate and embarass him good enough to ensure neither him nor any other Ikwerre impersonator will try that rubbish again in the future. cool

I don't love or hate Ikwerres. I just see them as a neighboring confused Bini group, to Ndiigbo, whose Bini ancestors suffered from a profound form of inferiority complex that made them to replace their language with Igbo language, which they corrupted to form the Frankenstein of a language they call Ikwerre language.

I also rationally deduced that these same Bini ancestors suffered from permanent brain damage right after they switched their Bini language for Igbo language, which affected their language centre and resulted in permanent amnesia as far as their Bini language is involved.

The above is only how I can rationalize the Ikwerre lack of Bini Language , or culture, and their current Igbo ones, without projecting Ndiigbo as empire builders that conquered and imposed Igbo language on Ikwerres or as super humans capable of turning Bini speaking Ikwerre ancestors to Igboid speakers just by mere interactions with them.

I have learned to make sure I embarrass and disgrace to no end any Ikwerre I meet outside Rivers trying to claim Igbo and to be ready to return the Igbophobia of Igbophobic ones amongst them with a very healthy dose of Ikwerrephobia that I produce and secret at a very high and potent dose.
And I relate cooly with those of them who come to me as Proud Ikwerres without showing me Igbophobic mindsets, as I would relate with any decent non Igbo Nigerian I meet everyday in life, without any sentiment of non existent kinship.

This is the way going forward for Ndiigbo as far as Ikwerre is concerned.

Ikwerres are not Igbos, and it's about time every Igbo child is properly educated about Ikwerres.
Hate must be doused and cancelled out with hate.
That's how it works in international arena.

Telling an innocent Igbo child that Ikwerre is Igbo is as good as telling the child that a venomous snake is a pet animal and his friend.
It's a fatal and costly miss education and you endanger that child's life. Because a snake is already well educated by nature to attack the child at first sight, while the child was poorly educated by those who should have rightly educated him about the danger a snake potends, and therefore in no position to protect himself.

Of course, any future Igbo country must not contain any Igbophobic Bini claiming group outside South East. Ikwerre and Ogba especially.

This cannot be overemphasized

Ohanaeze Ndiigbo too is a useless organisation for harboring Ikwerres in their midst.

Just simple plan to hold an Ohanaeze Ndiigbo program in Obio Akpor. Ikwerre Youths were up in arms, all over social media, threatening fire and brimstone, should Ohanaeze try to host the event in PH. The Ikwerre moles in Ohaneze Ndiigbo all kept quiet. They are all in on the act, while Rivers state government looked the other way.
Finally, Ohanaeze backed down and rescheduled the meeting elsewhere, and we all pretend like nothing is wrong.
Uche Okwukwu, Amaechi, and the rest of Ikwerre moles in Ohanaeze Ndiigbo claiming Igbo are all members of their respective town unions in Ikwerreland with representatives in the notorious Igbophobic Ogbakor Ikwerre organization, yet these are the people deluded brain dead Igbos point out as Igbos from Ikwerre.

An insignificant minority of 3.5LGA is using a majority group to play ball, because people can't get rid of their emotions and act with ruthless clarity for once.

If you leave these braindead Igbos, they will help an Ikwerre man like Amaechi whose Igbophobic nature and antecedents is all over the internet hijack the Igbo struggle for Nigerian president.

How can you hope to build unity with a people who have mortal resentment for you by empowering one of them and allowing them use you?

If the Ikwerre language is not Igbo, then how do Igbos understand it? How is it that all Ikwerres understand Igbo? How can two different people speak two different languages but understand each other? "Come" in Ikwerre is "Bia"

Of course some Ikwerres say they are not Igbo while others like former Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi say they are Igbo. The Secretary General of Ohanaeze is an Ikwerre man called Uche Okwukwu.

Ikwerres are not distinct in any way. They all speak Igbo as their ancestral language and have Igbo surnames.
Stop the delusion already.

Ogini di! Ana agwo gi bu onye ibi ibi gi, ina eto afor! angry

Ikwerre is not Igbo. 90% of Ikwerre people will hate you the moment they realize you are Igbo.
These lots were raised from childhood by their parents with distorted falsehoods of how Igbos took over their lands before the war and tried to annihilate them during the war and how Gowon and Nigerian Army saved them from Igbos.
They were also told that Igbos are trying to take their land annihilate and replace them with Igbos in their land, if given an opportunity.

This is how every single Ikwerre man was raised. They were raised in deep Igbophobia rooted in falsehoods where Ndiigbo were projected in the image of the mythical big black wolf.

Stop being ridiculous, emotional , lazy and stupid trying to pretend there can ever be any level of genuine brotherhood between Ndiigbo and these people.

These people are very dangerous to Ndiigbo overall well being, and I blame our parents for not telling us the truth about these people. Because most of us had to experience this toxic hate first hand, and I tell you. Its a very traumatic experience you will never recover from as an Igbo.

It's worst when IPOB plays the ostrich and keep misseducating our people about these Ikwerres when most of IPOB leaders know the truth on ground.
I know Ipob and NK know the truth, because when Nnamdi Kanu claimed to have visited PH, he cunningly stuck to Obiigbo where the Ndoki and Asa indigenous are proud Igbos and not Igbophobic, while he stylishly avoided Obio Akpor LGA and all the Ikwerre Rumu villages there.
Nnamdi Kanu is a con artist for this shameless miss education of our people and exposing gullible ones to this Ikwerre hate.
He knew those Igbophobic Bini Ikwerre boys would have disgraced and stoned him to death had he attempted to cross into Ikwerre land, so he stuck to Oyiigbo. Very insincere human being. His cup will soon full.

OK I get your point.

To your question, I am not a scout but I should go based on whatbI know in realistic terms, I would first seek out a reconciliation with Ozil. If he needs to beg let him beg, if we need to beg him let's beg him. The reason is because like it or not he was our most creative player despite playing very few games. It's easy to shop for a new wife, but it's the old wife that knows all the craw craw and how to pluck them.

If it doesn't work, I'll go for one of Grealish and Zaha. The later is getting old though but very effective. Most importantly, PL experience.
Ozil had just 1 assist in 12 games he played for us. He is no longer the player he once was 4 yrs ago. He is washed up. We need to move on, Ozil has nothing to offer us anymore. Wenger benched him by making up ridiculous injury news excuses for him, Emery did same, Ljunberg did, and now Arteta is doing same. The four of them can't be wrong while Ozil remains right. Add Joachim Loew of Germany too, and that's 5 managers reaching same conclusion on Ozil, which is that he is no longer good enough for top level football.

Grealish looks good enough for a team struggling for relegation with no pressure. Can he step up in a bigger team looking for more? His age isn't all that good too, and he would cost significantly alot. Why not go for cheaper and more direct Madison? But I agree with you though.
Grealish is better than all we currently have. If we can get him, that will nice.

Zaha? How many goals and assists did he have this season? As atrocious as Pepe is, he still had a better season than Zaha. Please we can do better than Zaha

The leader of the indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB) and director of Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, stated that he believes that Portharcourt will eventually become the capital of Biafra. Kanu stated this during his broadcast of Sunday July 26th. Kanu said that although it will be up to Biafrans to decide where their capital will be, he believed that Igweocha(Portharcourt) would emerge as capital.

Kanu said that Portharcourt, as the centre of the Oil and gas industry in Nigeria, should have developed on the level of Abuja, if not more, but that the Oil wealth of the area was taken up North to build Abuja, at the expense of Portharcourt indigenes

Kanu ended by saying that when Portharcourt becomes the capital of Biafra, the Biafran government would initiate a 75 year development plan that will see most of the houses and substandard structures in Portharcourt knocked down and a world class city built in its place
Ipob is a big liability and disappointment to Ndiigbo.

An ambitious club shouldn't be going for those kind of players. Though I don't know how good they are. Look at Chelsea, Werner in the bag already and Ziyech too. Havertz probably on the way.
If at all we don't want to go for big names, then let's look within the EPL clubs
Szobolozlai is not a nobody. He is the midfield engine room of RB Salzburg. Everyone was raving about Haaland, but Szobolozlai is the man behind the iron mask.
He will greatly improve our midfield creativity. Liverpool got Minamino, Dortmund got Haaland, Leipzig got Hwang. European teams are shopping in Salzburg.
Roca of Espanyol is good too.

Everything is not all about signing big names. You can still find good quality if search well. Liverpool bought Wjinaldum from Newcastle, and Robertson from God knows where. We splashed big (even though is on installments) on Pepe, look how average Pepe is.

No telling how Ziyech will fare. Harvetz too. Xhaka was one of the bests in Bundesliga before we bought him.

Problem with Arsenal is that we don't move on quickly from bad players. Look how quick Chelsea moved Bakayoko, Drinkwater, Zapacosta, etc on. If it were Arsenal, they would all still be here. That's the problem we have.

Ozil is done and dusted we need to move on.
Grealish will not come cheap, and I would rather have Maddison to Grealish. Madison is younger and more of goal threat and complete package.

Ndidi is good too.

Guedouzi is championship standard, Torreira is not good enough. Lacazette is midtable. Honestly in my view, if we take away the effort from Arteta in bringing some stability and direction into the team, we were deteriorating towards relegation. His main achievement for me was to stop that deterioration and give fans something to hope about.

Inheriting such a disjointed team with very poor mentality is not an easy job, then when you consider he himself was on a learning curve you understand the magnitude of the challenge. I will give him 8/10. It will be a 9 if he wins the FA cup. This is something any manager including Mourinho will make noise about.

I sincerely hope he gets the funds and right deals during this TW. Because I believe he has the potentials of becoming a great manager.

If you add 12 points to our tally, we would have been on 3rd.
Arterta needs to do his home work very well before next season, I'm afraid honey moon is over and pressure from fans can break him and his fragile team further.
That's really shambolic. The loss to Chelsea in a match we were winning 1-0 up to 75mins pained me the most, same with the Tottenham game that we conceded immediately we scored and then went on to lose the match.
We gave away too many cheap points from winning positions.
Our midfield cannot retain ball and manage game. They also have no goal in them. The defense is nonexistent. The likes of Holding, Chambers, Luiz, Sokratis are all Championship standard.
We don't create enough chances. I heard we are 13th on EPL this season, based on goal scoring chances created.
Our problem is too complex and we don't have the money to go out once in transfer market and fix them.

However, comparing an experienced head like Mou to Arteta is really unfair. More importantly, Mou had the January transfer to improve his roster. He brought in Gedson, Lo Celso and S. Bergwijn with the latter 2 playing integral roles in the push for UEL spots and finishing 6th.

Arteta needs support from everyone especially the board in terms of financial support to revamp this team. Some aspects have improved like discipline but I think there is still a lot to do with changing the fragile mentality of this team.
So basically, Arteta is doing apprentice job with Arsenal cry

Isoko really did assimilate Igbo components.
Igbide people are from Awka and Mgbidi in South East.
So there is bound to be Igbo influence. Additionally, you live close to Igbo speaking Ukwuani/Ndokwa.

Ikwerre people never wanted to identify with Igbo's ... You people are the ones always doing the opposite.....
Una colonization for worst pass white....foolish pipo
What are your parasitic persons like Uche Okwukwu and Co doing in Ohanaeze Ndiigbo?

All over outside Rivers state, your people are leeching on Igbo diaspora organizations, in the North, SW and outside Nigeria.
How many Igbos are in your Ogbakor Ikwerre?
How many Igbos in the streets of Onitsha, Awka, Abakaliki, Okigwe, Nsukka, Enugu, Nnewi, even know that Ikwerre exists?

. Even the Ukwuani, ika, Ndokwas have always maintain different ethnic group from the Igbo. I as a ukwuani man any time I want to fill any documents about ethnicity I always wrote ukwuani as my ethnic group and not Igbo so the Igbo are wasting their time if they think the so called Igbo will love to join them.Meanwhile Nigeria constitution recognised Ika, Ukwale, Akwarra etc. as different ethnic group.
Lies!

Ezeh Obi Ossai of Aboh kingdom was the first Igbo king that met the British, and he clearly told them he and his people were Eboes and that the rest of the Eboes were across the Niger.
Simon Jonas an Igbo slave from Sierra Leone served as the interpreter between Ezeh obi Ossai of Aboh and the British.
The British even named Aboh as Eboe town and many speculate that the usage of Eboe to refer to all other Igbo speaking clans was forged and given birth to by the whites at Aboh. Once they started calling Aboh Eboe town, they decided that everyone else who spoke similar dialects as Aboh was Eboe.

Below is a link to colonial report on visit to Aboh and encounter between Ezeh Obi ossai, his son Chukwuma and the British colonial masters.

Unlike other lying Igboid groups. Aboh history was well documented by the British, so it would be so hard for you lots to change history overnight.

Ukwuani happily identified as Igbo until 1970. That's the truth.

You are free to think whatever you like it's the Ikwerres that have problem with Igbos not we just that the hate Is contagious it spread to us.
This is exactly why I maintain that Ikwerres are not Igbos and should not under any circumstances be accepted as one.

The Ikwerre Igbophobia is toxic and infectious.
They have infected all Igbo speaking groups around them with toxic Igbophobia. The likes of Ekpeye and Etche use to be disinterested in Igbo/non Igbo stuff, until Ikwerres started infecting them with Igbophobia.
Ikwerres are also currently infecting Obiigbo people with Igbophobia.

Ikwerre is toxic for Ndiigbo, and Ndiigbo must do well to keep this people away from association with Ndiigbo.

I don't know what Ikwerres are, they could be confused Bini people or anything else. But one thing I am 100% sure of, is that Ikwerres are not Igbos.
I personally make it a point offline to embarrass the living hell out of any Ikwerre man that tries to convince me he/she is Igbo.
I can never be a member of any Igbo organization that have Ikwerre people as members neither can I ever respect such group.

Isoko was part of Urhobo until 1957 when Chief James Otobo influenced the creation during his tenure in Western House of Assembly, Ibadan.

Even till now, you won't hear any Isoko song without adding Urhobo to it. like 'Isoko and Urhobo' which shows that they still recognise the unity then. But still yet, Urhobo nor carry am for head like una Igbos. Igbos for worst pass white for colonialism.
This is not true.

Some Isoko persons might have been part of Urhobo union.
But Isoko on the whole was always independent. Isoko in all colonial document was always written and spelt independent of Urhobo.

The Urhobos I know offline are dying over Okpe Urhobo denials.
It drives you lots mad. grin
