Yes! We are learning from China. And the first step towards that is having an independent nation of our own, non inclusive of our bitter enemies who wish us harm. That's the first stage of the Igbo renaissance. China wasn't sharing a demonic union with USA, Japan or Britain. If they did, they won't be where they are today. First things must come first. |
Ngozi123:Exactly. |
Laird:Lol! There are many accomplished Igbo high flyers, see one:www.nairaland.com/3465993/bennet-omalu-receives-highest-american https://www.nairaland.com/3175227/igbo-man-becomes-first-african I'm beginning to doubt if you are Igbo. I don't know what you intended to achieve by naming Ogunlesi here, Hope you are not another Afonja claiming Igbo, it wouldn't be the first time. You have still failed to show us how Ndiigbo disrespect our hosts. Ndiigbo live in peace with hosts all over the world, it's only amongst bitter Igbophobic Nigerian groups that Igbo man is disrespectful to their hosts, his crime being living his life to the fullest. www.nairaland.com/2307232/john-godson-polish-first-black |
Laird:And you think the Chinese, the Lebanese, South Africans in Nigeria didn't migrate for economic reasons too? I'm in the medical field, and I know very well all that goes on in our FMCs and THs. A Biafra will create a better health care system to absorb our health personnels. Nigerian medical system like everything in Nigeria is dead. The only reason we have more spaces for Internship/Housejob and Residency in the North than the East, has alot to do with fact that we( Ndiigbo) produce too many doctors than those people, yet there are no structures put in place by the FG to accommodate and compensate for that by FG in the East. Imo state produce more doctors/ Lab scientists than Sokoto state, yet the spaces provided by the ministry of health budget to UDUTH internship/ housemanship slot is more than those of FMC Owerri of Imo state, which forces the spill over from Imo state to troop to Sokoto if they must do internship/ housemanship Biafran health ministry will correct that. |
Laird:The Chinese and Lebanese foreigners doing business in Nigeria live flamboyant lifestyles and even treat Nigerians in condescending manner in the public. Some of them go about with Nigerian security officials holding umbrella for them, lol! How exactly is that keeping low profile? Come to Lokpanta in Ummunneochi LGA of Abia state, along Enugu-PH road and see Hausas and Fulanis celebrating there ceremonies there on regular basis without anyone harassing them. That land was given to them by Orji Uzo Kalu for over a decade now, for all the millions they make there selling Cattle, these wicked souls have not erected any single good structure/ house there, all they build is zinc houses, and litter the whole place with dirts and cow dung, the whole place stnks and not a single development is going on there. Give an Igbo man a similar place outside Igboland, he would contribute in developing the place by building good houses, both residential and commercial, he would attract banks there, schools, and before you know it, the whole area is crawling with other groups who would join, and then the indigenous groups rather than becoming grateful to the Igbo man, becomes jealous, accuses him of land grabbing and frivolous excuses is given by the indigenous government to drive the Igbo first settlers away from the place, now that the value of the land there had appreciated. And they will justify it by saying that the Igbo is loud, proud, chest beating, can't keep low profile. What the hell is that, Nonsense. |
Fremancipation:The dude feels threatened that his Arewa-Oduanistan so called friends might kick him out of his job and business in Arewa-Oduanistan the moment Biafra materializes. In his selfish myopic view, Igboland should remain chained in a demonic union so that he and his ilks in Arewa-Oduanistan will stand a chance of holding unto their jobs and businesses there, even if they are being massacred and denigrated on daily basis by Arewa-Oduanistanis. He failed to ask himself how Igbos in countries outside Nigeria are making it there, without being citizens there, some rising as high as becoming elected democratic officials. He can't even take a cue from the Chinese and Lebanese who are not Arewa-Oduanistanis but are making it big there. Enwero ife mmadu ayala afu na yardia. |
Eledan:It was the Igbo Iron lady, Late Dora Akunyili that called off the bluff of Turai kitchen cabinet. |
Laird:There are also non Igbos doing internship and Residency in Igboland, I met many of them in UNTH and NAUTH. There are many Igbos practicing Medicine in UAE, Saudi, Namibia , South Africa, USA, UK, Australia, it's a big world. All you need is be good at what you do.If you need Igboland to be attached to Nigeria before you will be able to make it in Arewa-Oduanistan, then you are not good enough and Likely not going to make it in international community. In Biafra, Ndiigbo would have full control of her destiny and would draw knowledge from her vast intellectual and international leaders in various fields of human endeavour to create a functional society. You make it seem like Nigeria is not a failed third world poverty stricken country, where unemployment rate is hiting the high heavens. Biafra can't be any worst. If all Igbo outside Igboland return to Igboland, that will create population explosion which will translate to big market and endless opportunities, considering that this population won't be illiterate undereducated terrorist and Islamic brainwashed population as we have in Arewa-Oduanistan, it will be a highly educated and resourceful population, which is the greatest resources of all developed nations. IF and when the Igbo outside Igboland in Arewa-Oduanistan are forced to return their investments back home, it would even become better. |
Many times these guys cheat, underpay their staff, bribe immigration, hate Nigerians but You never see them BEAT THEIR CHESTS AND SCREAM OUT LOUD THat they are superior to Nigerians and anyone. They quietly make millions and billions and many of my Igbo brothers buy goods from them either In Nigeria or in their Country to rseell Being an Igbo should be be an Example of a CALM RESPECTFUL DIGNIFIED BUT FIRM person WHO MAKEA MONEY BUt keeps coool A lot of Billionairs and Millionaires in the North and South South and Yoruba land who.playplay low key So idiot that quoted Me, I guess You need to shut up Your loud bashful ass and listen Being Loud and boastful caused Many Igbo's the war, economic and financial loss and loss of lives There areany Hausa's killing it quietly in Lagos in Business and making millions / billions in Business/ government/forex but being calm and respectful not to get noticed I had ignored this part of your post because I was busy. Where have you seen Ndiigbo beat our chest and say we are superior to other Nigerian groups? You mean we should stop celebrating our success, to avoid attracting hate from bitter Nigerian groups? All over the world, success and successful ones are celebrated, nations celebrate and take pride in achievements of their members and their achievements as a group, if Ndiigbo doing so is uncomfortable for bitter Nigerian groups, then they could as well stay in their Arewa-Oduanistan republic and leave us to our Biafra. All over, Igbos make money and keep cool. We don't kill our hosts or fight them. Our crime include, buying lands from indigent indigenous people, who come begging to sell their ancestral lands to us. Building good houses to inhabit in non Igbo lands, buy good cars to ease our lives, while the indigenous people live in thatched houses, and can't afford cars, and in turn they become full of envy for the Igbo man, and every available excuse is sought after to harm him or his business. If one can't live freely in any part of his country, then there is no basis for the existence of such country. Who are the Igbo billionaires/ millionaires that beat their chests, name them and show us how they beat their chests, stop being vague in furtile attempt at masking your bias. Hausas killed Yorubas in Lagos not long ago, when was the last time an Igboman killed his host. How exactly did being loud and boastful caused the war on Igbos? I'd like you to explain what you meant by this. Many Igbos are killing it in Lagos too, and I don't see them boasting, unless the word "boasting" now has a new meaning. |
Laird:How exactly does this your post help your argument? Lebanese, Chinese, etc had all conquered Nigerian business atmosphere without Lebanon, China, being part of Nigeria. If You need Igboland/ Biafra to be fused in a demonic union with Arewa-Oduanistans before you progress in your business situated in Arewa-Oduanistan, then you are not cut out for business and whatever business venture you are doing in Arewa-Oduanistan would have no longevity, cos whether you like it or not,the Igbo majority as represented by our grassroots back home, want out of Nigeria, and there is nothing your irrelevant drivel here will do about that. |
The way I see it. City isn't going to finish in top 4 in EPL this season. As I don't see either of Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool not being in the top four. Chelsea had won the league. City won't win the UCL either. Will Guardiola still have a job in City come the end of the season? Time will tell. I watched Jesus against poor Westham side, I saw no extraordinary talent or skill set in him, only Sane showed such promise. Jesus is all hype, I remember that Depay came with such in EPL, and we know how that ended, where is Januzaj? All Iheanacho need do is work hard in training, learn new skill sets like free-kicks, and he will weather this storm with time. Now that the spotlight is less on him, is the best time to grow his game under low pressure, and show his worth whence called upon. This is a challenge for him, he can let it Mar him or he can use it to spur his career into the next level. |
Beautiful husband, handsome Wife. Nice Igbo outfit. |
Laird:Stop talking trash! No one stops you from becoming a citizen of Arewa-Oduanistan and living happily ever After with your Yoruba and Hausa friends when Biafra is actualized. Not all Jews are in Israel, many are scattered all over the world, even in Germany, doing business and great exploits, many financial institutions in USA are ran by the the Jews, so what? There are no reason for independent Jewish Israel state? The Jews that sought for an independent nation of Israel are stupid? Must Igboland be fused with your Arewa-Oduanistan for you to succeed in your business venture? How about Igbos in China, Togo, Ghana, Cameroon, USA, South Africa, etc, are they not doing well those places, interacting with the indigenous people there freely, without needing Ndiigbo to be fused in a demonic union with those people? If the only way you can succeed in your business venture is by Igboland being joined in a demonic union with a people we share no unified or similar political, religious, traditional ideologies with, then you are not cut out for business and that your business has no longevity/ future, because whether you like it or not, you only have One vote, and it's the Igbo grassroots back home that would chart the political course of Igboland sooner or later, cos power will eventually return to the people, and right now, self determination is the music playing all over Igboland. When the time is right, only Igbo elites who dance to that music will have power, the rest will sink with the Nigerian failed ship. |
What the East had to deal with Post 1970: Akpabio on Gowon 3Rs and how Yorubas hijacked the 3Rs for themselves. . But I asked to be allowed to ask a question: how come reconstruction started in the West when the war was actually fought in the East? They started the Third Mainland Bridge, the National Theatre, the international airport, and so on, in the West, while the war was fought in the eastern region. And if we really wanted to ensure total reconciliation, how come every account holder in the eastern region was given only £20? It did not matter whether your father had £10,000,000 or £50,000,000 before the war; you were given just £20. It was a take it or leave it situation. If your family survived and there was an account holder alive, he/she went to the bank, and collected just £20. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=191387944379365&set=a.108421046009389.10559.100005244818648&type=1 "The war aim and (final) solution properly speaking of the entire problem, is to discriminate against the Igbos and in their own interest. Such discrimination would include above all the detachment of those oil-rich territories in the Eastern Region, in addition, the Igbos' freedom of movement would be restricted, to prevent their renewed penetration into other parts, leaving any access to the sea to the Igbos, is quite out of the question, " (Federal Nigerian Minister speaking to E. C. Schwarzenback, Swiss Review of Africa, February 1968) https://www.nairaland.com/2516282/before-forget What Ndiigbo made out of Nothing after War: https://www.nairaland.com/2576371/eastern-neighbourhoods-streets-made NATIONAL BUREAU OF STATISTICS 2010-2015BANK CREDIT AND DEPOSIT BY STATES IN NIGERIABank credit/deposit in each state may be used as an indicator of the level of activity and well being of operators (households and businesses) in a particular state as it shows what residents are borrowing and the amount deposit in banks http://www.nigerianstat.gov.ng/report/384 Bank Deposit by states in Nigeria From the report bank deposit by states in Southeast from 2010-2015 Bank deposit in Anambra state #1'844'434.75 Bank Credit # 258'716.37 Balance #1'585'718.38 Bank deposit in Enugu #1'651'741.09 Bank credit #370'012.75 Balance #1'281'728.59 Bank deposit in Imo # 936'606.57 bank credit #218'853.32 Balance #717'753.35 Bank deposit in Abia from #1'031'355.42 bank credit #391'675.25 Balance 639'580.17 Bank deposit in Ebonyi #330'841.52 bank credit #93'627.5 balance 237'214.02 Southeast total balance from 2010-2015 #4'461'997.51 From the report bank deposit by states in Southwest from 2010-2015 excluding nation commercial center Bank deposit in Oyo #1'617'678.48 bank credit #598'298.6 Balance #1'019'379.88 Bank deposit in Ogun #1'204'873.59 bank credit # 558'073.3 Balance # 649'800.29 Bank deposit in Ondo #821'901.84 credit #306'621.05 Balance #515'280.79 Bank deposit in Osun #648'726.72 credit #417'073.72 Balance #231'653.05 Bank deposit in Ekiti #301'136.23 credit #123,254.46 Balance #177,881.77 South west total balance from 2010-2015 #2'593'995.78 |
Spy360:Fair enough. |
Just to set the records straight, cos I can see Yorubas still think this is 1960's when naive Igbo fore runners allowed their Lagos-Ibadan media houses of falsehood and propaganda run amok undebunked. "Secondly at the 1954 Constitutional Conference that was held in Lagos, the Action Group, under the distinguished leadership of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, demanded that the “right to secession” be included in the proposed new constitution. This was rejected by the Colonial Secretary, Oliver Lyttleton." http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/10/time-think-femi-fani-kayode/ "... the Gowon regime dissolved the regional structures and created 12 states in their place.14 Shortly afterwards, the country became embroiled in a civil war which ended formally on 15 January 1970". http://books.openedition.org/ifra/634?lang=en And lastly: he memo dated January 8, 1967 began with: “Your Excellency, in view of my discussion with you last night, I am raising this memo in the interest our fatherland, Nigeria”. Akenzua traced the long hard road that Nigeria had travelled and stressed on the need to keep a United Nigeria. He said in the memo that Gowon had given too much away in Aburi and that it would lead to the destruction of the country. He further added that Gowon had “legalised” total regionalism which “will make the centre very weak.” Akenzua alluded in his memo that a weak centre would lead to confederation and total disintegration of the country. It was the memo that prompted Gowon to summon a meeting of the secretaries to the military governments and other officials which was held in Benin City between February 16 and 18, 1967. If you look at the minutes of the Benin meeting presided over by Mr. H. A. Ejueyitchie, Secretary to the Federal Military Government, you will discover that it was a total rejection of what was agreed upon in Aburi. The Benin meeting interpreted in its own way the agreement reached in Aburi. http://www.punchng.com/biafra-memo-akenzua-aburi/ Points to take home: There was never a time British offered any part of Nigeria the option self determination, Bamenda that pressed continuously for that were given the option of remaining in Nigeria or joining Cameroon, and they chose Cameroon in the end. No one stopped Awolowo from joining his Yoruba brothers in Benin republic seeing as the colonial powers gave no option of self determination or independence of any of Nigerian units. The Nigerian regional system was dismantled by Gowon with active backing of his Yoruba supporters led by Awolowo. Obasanjo, a Yoruba man killed any chance of fiscal federalism with his Land use decree act that dispossessed indigenous people of their lands and the minerals there Of and handed them to Obasanjo Northern masters and his Yoruba brothers as well as few elites from all over Nigeria. Either way, non Of these matter, as Ndiigbo grassroots today don't want to share a country with the people of Islamic republic of Arewa-Oduanistan. It doesn't matter what happened yesterday, what matters is what we want today. Arewa-Oduanistans should take this in good faith and stop twisting historical facts in bid to blackmail Igbos they love to hate into sharing a failed colonial entity with them. This " I don't think I will make it alone, so therefore let's stick together in a bitter hating style and fail together" cheap blackmail of Yoruba Muslims twisted as " Igbos caused all the pains we Arewa-Oduanistans are suffering in our failed colonial entity and must be made to stay with us and suffer" , will not work on Ndiigbo. |
Tifemide2017:Can you show me where the constructive criticism in that Yoruba Muslim Post is? More like Igbo bashing and denigration with no substance whatsoever. Igbos don't only team up with Muslims, we team up with Hindus in India, Buddhists in China, Atheists in Poland, USA, Germany, etc. We are that free minded. So I don't know what you are rambling about. Better face front. |
I'm not a United fan, but that Pogba pass to Ibrahimovic was exquisite. Ibrahimovic has no right not burying that chance. United need an elite striker in the prime of his career, Aubameyang ticks all the boxes for what United needs right now, get him, spend the world, if you have to. Ibrahimovic can not take on and beat his man, what sort of striker is that? More like an upgraded version of Giroud. United should raid Dortmund more. Get Reus and Aubameyang, get a solid DM, Carrick doesn't cut it. I mean, these are quintessential Mourinho moves in the transfer market, is the man losing his touch or what? Why is he comfortable with average players like Herrera, Carrick, Rashford, and the rest? Those are at best squad players, United should start acting like giants once more for crying out loud, how can a team that once had Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez spearheading her attack now degrade to old has been Ibrahimovic, unproven English hype Rashford and the Rest and still expect the same outcome? Who bewitched United? |
Spy360:How exactly did Sanchez spoil match? The midfield was useless, no through passes or crosses were coming from there. Rather than stay up front languishing, Sanchez took it upon himself to come into the midfield and create those chances himself. He was the one that created Iwobi's goal but all over the net, I see fans celebrating Iwobi for the goal, forgetting who created the goal. If we have two more players in Arsenal, as passionate as Sanchez, we will win matches, even with useless Wenger in charge. Ramsey lost the ball in the lead up to that Deeney's goal, but he never tracked back to mark the Man he lost the ball to. If you disposes Sanchez off the ball in the opponent final third, he would chase you down all the way to Arsenal final third, if need be. 29 goals plus Assists in 30 matches this season so far from Sanchez, says it all. |
HungerBAD:Incoherent ranting of a pained Yoruba Igbohating muslim. This is Ohanaeze submission to NASS on Nigeria restructuring, years ago:http://igbofocus.com/Ohanaeze/OHE2/ohe2.html Though on a more serious note, not even those submissions if accepted and put into action will stop the demand by Igbo grassroots to chart a different existential course away from the people of Islamic republic of Arewa-Oduanistan. |
The government will compromise the protest. All they will do is to hire some hoodlums who will mingle amongst the innocent crowd and start up violent activities like destruction of infrastructures and provocation of security men. And just like that, the protest will burst in flames and the government will gain a reason to step in, and kill the riot the same way they do those of IPOB. Tuface, hmm. I pity you. |
Finally, when is Cech going to be benched? Look at the match defining PK save Mignolet made yesterday against Costa, when was the last time Cech saved a PK for us or made an out of the world save? I'd say we give Martinez or Ospina a run of games to unsettle Cech a little, I think he is becoming too coozy in our goal post. And oh, can we "dash" Ramsey out to Sunderland or any of those struggling teams in EPL, cos obviously, that's where his level is. No passion whatsoever. He lost the ball leading to the second goal, but never tracked back to retrieve it. The mofo was busy jogging. Obviously Wenger is the Chief culprit in all these, he has consistently failed to fire up his players for games like this, his wrong team selection and favouritism that means that hardworking players are not rewarded for strong performances in smaller matches, but rather ensures that lazy non committed players are guaranteed starting positions is the bane of this club. Until Wenger leaves, even with Ronaldo and Messi leading our attack, Arsenal will still not win the league. |
Cool down all. Wenger is in control. The Chase for fourphy is on, Wenger just found out he had over ran his finish line, he just has to get back to his favourite fourth spot. |
Good start. Let's see how it goes. I just don't like his use of the phrase " mainland Ndiigbo". Other than that, it's a good speech. |
kropotkin2:And you fool yourself thinking Britain, USSR( Russia) will come to your aid again to commit genocide in Biafra like they did in 1967-70? How have they helped you in your Boko haram fight so far? And would you have to give away the entire Cross River to Cameroon this time around to secure their support? Remember that Ahijo the Fulani Man is nolonger in charge in Cameroon. Or you think you are going to win Biafrans without those nations backing your genocidal intents? By the way, Nigeria is not a nation. Your nation is Yoruba or Arewa-Oduanistan, mine is Igbo/Biafra, Nigeria is a colonial entity. |
ProfDumbledor:It's easy for powerless politicians like Nnamani, Kalu etc to open their mouths and talk trash about Igbos not knowing how to play national politics, talk is cheap after all. Now the ball is in their court. What are they doing? I remember when Rose Uzoma had many Igbos in her customs employment list, the Yorubas heated up the polity so much until she lost her job and the appointments were reversed. It's obvious someone from SW had disbursed these loans without strict observance of the federal character, and Yorubas are set to grab the lion share of these loans, someone should be losing his or her job for this breach. And I ask, whose job is it to heat up the polity, so that Who ever is behind this "enterprise" be exposed and made to lose his/ her job? If Igbo political jobbers in APC( mainly) and PDP secondarily cannot raise dust over this anomaly, of what use are they to Ndiigbo? Are they not all useless? |
kropotkin2:Biafra has the support of the Igbo grassroots. It's a real nation people are ready to die for without being paid a dime, something your failed country can never boast of. No one is interested in war with Arewa-Oduanistans, rational beings would even wonder why Arewa-Oduanistans would want to go to war to enforce co existence with the very same people they loathe and accuse Of attracting international image battery to them. If this isn't a form of psychosis, I don't know what else to call it. |
ProfDumbledor:I was about pointing this out. Good a thing Ndiigbo are becoming politically and ethnically conscious. This is likely a Yoruba agenda. I doubt Buhari has a hand in this. This has Tinubu/ Osibanjo written all over it. This is why folks from that part of the country want to die on top "Biafra" matter even more than the North. What are the Igbo political robbers cum politicians like Rochas, Nnamani, Kalu, etc who had all flocked to APC and whose stock in trade is to denigrate Ndiigbo to become acceptable to Nigerians have to say about this development? cc: Abagworo |
kropotkin2:Your failed country is a joke of the entire Africa. Your suffering is only just starting. If you think you are going to drag Ndiigbo alongside you, then you must be dreaming. The world in 21st century isn't same as 20th century. There are no more Bakassis to give away, once more, your genocidal activities will not receive support from the world. You won't survive a second war. You better becareful what you wish for. |
Interesting topic. Come what may, Igbo self determination is non negotiable. There is no alternative to it. It's a must and anyone who thinks otherwise has only one option. ![]() * Of course, like minded non Igbo groups in Akwa Cross area are always welcomed to the party. |
VomeSchakleton:The pathetic ranting of a regular Yoruba man. |
I just like this Osinbajo personally, for no reason at all. Maybe because he is an intellectual and brilliant fellow. I wish him all the best. |
