ezenaija:From your post, it doesn't sound like you know anything. |
Probz:Ok. Good. Then it's only apt that he/she be flogged with the cane of facts and figures by exposed Igbo sons here. This is the ICT age. |
Probz:No official census of Nigeria said such. Nigeria never included ethnicity in its Population parameters. The Info is a Yoruba propaganda that had been allowed to go on unchallenged overtime, and before time started taking the form of fact in the minds of the unexposed I questioned and debunked that propaganda here: https://www.nairaland.com/3400415/1931-population-figures-nigerian-ethnic |
DonCortino:Cross River too. |
In what planet is Yoruba more popular than Ndiigbo. Piece of garbage article. OP needs a mini mental examination. |

So Nduchucks is still alive? Old soldier never die.On the map: Ndiigbo will not accept any arrangement that will politically keep Delta North isolated from the SE again. So, I'd suggest you take back the Tiv/Idoma into Central, leave Delta North in South East , Igbo parts of Benue, Edo, carved into SE too.Carve out The Isoko/Urhobos/Ijaws/Edos out of SE, they can either stand on their own or merged with SW ![]() I wouldn't mind having the Akwa-Cross in SE, if they wish to join us, after all, the old Cross River state was once called SE state, and geographically speaking,,Akwa-Cross area is more SEastern than Igboland. Of course, all these are temporary measures, as self determination remains the ultimate goal for Ndiigbo. |
OP. Some argue that those were not real census figures, but rather estimate figures by the British. |
Well, it was first Western Igbo when they were in Western region, then it became Mid western Igbo after the Midwest was created, then Bendel Igbos, when the Midwest was renamed Bendel by Gowon, and now Delta Igbos following the creation of Delta from the old Bendel state. I'm sure that by the time Anioma state is created, it will become Anioma-Igbos. |
Saraki is supposedly a Yoruba man from Kwara state. I dont see why Yorubas should have issues with him( Osibanjo) stepping aside for Saraki, or are Kwara Yorubas nolonger Yorubas? |
RIP |
Malawian:True. Some felt the pains and suffering of the exodus journey, was more excruciating than the humiliation and marginalization they were getting in Egypt. They forgot that in Exodus, they have hope of reaching a promise land, where as, in Egypt, their status quo would have remained same forever. Nigeria represents Egypt,in Nigeria our status quo will remain same forever, as Nigeria is a failed country. Where as in our promise land, the land of the rising sun, the possibilities of greatness are limitless. |
Iykopeee:Perfectly said. There are Jews who had decided to stay put in wherever they are located, rather than return to Israel. All Jews must not be part of Israel. Charly boy loves Nigeria and Lagos, we understand, he should stay put, I'm sure his Yoruba friends would happily give him citizenship in Arewa-Oduanistan, he should let the rest of us have Biafra, one mustn't be sacrificed for the other. |
Poweredbrew:This your obsession with Pazienza is Damn hilarious ![]() An ugly old man for that matter. ![]() |
Poweredbrew: ![]() That my last line pain am wella. ![]() |
Poweredbrew:Haha! Why are you dying on top the old man's matter. I'd be delighted to be everything the man is. . Seeing as he represents torment and frustration to Igbophobic entities. ![]() By the way, what is it with you people and miserable death, you want to take Otapiapia on top this matter like someone in Nigerian history? ![]() |
Poweredbrew: ![]() I'm in my 20's. I don't know about Pazienza. I might need to ask him about his age, but he is a very young man ![]() You are a funny fellow. ![]() |
Poweredbrew:Lol! Do you know that it's possible that Pazienza doesn't even know that you exist on the planet Earth .Yet here you are dying on top his matter, what does that say about your employment status? ![]() |
Poweredbrew: Don't tell me you are now stalking the old man! Odikwa very risky. You mean you are now saving his pics? ![]() ![]() |
Poweredbrew:Lol! This obsession with pazienza dikwa too much o! ![]() He must have left an indelible mark on Igbophobic people on this forum. ![]() |
Poweredbrew:Lol! I guess Pazienza like Xtrose is now a generic name for all tormentors of Igbophobic beings on NL. ![]() |
36xtr96r: ![]() |
Xtrose, my man, lashing them Igbo haters as always. It's always my pleasure seeing you in action bro. Dalu. ![]() |
AnambraDota:I have been there too. |
Owerri is good, but more modern than Enugu? ![]() Brother, you are stretching it. No SE city/ town can hold a candle light on Enugu, none! And that's puting it mildly. |
Orikinla1:Of course, see how Nigeria is a failed state, I understand why Her best head of state by international standard is also an incompetent fellow like Gowon. It all makes sense now. |
wellmax:How exactly did Yorubas deliver GEJ in 2011, what type of " fuckery" is this? Why do you people revel in outright lies and falsehoods? It is a known fact that despite not being Igbo or from the SE, GEJ main block Vote in 2011 came from the SE. The turnout for presidential elections in 2011 in SW was poor, simply because none of the candidates were Yorubas. Despite GEJ not being Igbo, Ndiigbo turned up in mass and delivered him. How dare you treacherous people try to re write a history as recent as 5yrs ago, what sort of madness is this? In 2003, despite Buhari fielding an Igbo VP, ObJ won the SE. Yaradua also in 2007, despite Buhari picking an Igbo VP, won more Igbo votes. Between 1999 to 2015, Igbos had voted for A Yoruba president( OBJ), Northern president ( Yaradua) and a Southern minority president( GEJ). We owe no Nigerian group any votes as it stands, they all owe us One, which we know will not be given. |
pchukwudi:Abortion data in Africa is under reported due to the criminal nature and poor data keeping of the whole thing. This is what we know: “We now have a global picture of induced abortion in the world, covering both countries where it is legal and countries where laws are very restrictive,” Dr. Paul Van Look, director of the W.H.O. Department of Reproductive Health and Research, said in a telephone interview. “What we see is that the law does not influence a woman’s decision to have an abortion. If there’s an unplanned pregnancy, it does not matter if the law is restrictive or liberal.” With legalized abortion, this is what we get: "Some countries, like South Africa, have undergone substantial transitions in abortion laws in that time. The procedure was made legal in South Africa in 1996, leading to a 90 percent decrease in mortality among women who had abortions, some studies have found. Abortion is illegal in most of Africa, though. It is the second-leading cause of death among women admitted to hospitals in Ethiopia, its Health Ministry has said. It is the cause of 13 percent of maternal deaths at hospitals in Nigeria, recent studies have found". https://mobile.nytimes.com/2007/10/12/world/12abortion.html |
pchukwudi:Yet you failed to mention the part, where it was stated that Abortion rate had declined in developed countries from 35 in 1000 to 25 in 1000, ie less than those of the developing country that remained static at 37 in 1000, so obviously, legalizing abortion doesn't increase abortion rate, it only decreases maternal mortality rate, by enabling the mothers to have access to quality abortion health care. See this quote too: “The obvious interpretation is that criminalising abortion does not prevent it, but rather drives women to seek illegal services or methods.” Diana Greene Foster, University of California |
KevinDein:You obviously don't know what these young women who are victims of criminal abortions go through,or what they have to forfeit in life to take care of an unwanted child, I do. And I believe they deserve the option of standard medical gestation termination, the option to have their life back or to sacrifice it for the welfare of a baby. Your interest is on the baby, mine is on the mother, she should have all the options available and open to her, after all her future and Her life is at stake. I would not have hypocritical men take any of those options away from her, since they are not going to be the ones to bear the blunt of the final outcome of such options. |
KevinDein:Seriously? You are going to compare Abortion to drug abuse? |
