I have an admission for USA and Canada and reached out to @moshkom for advise and this was part of his advice. So I'm dropping it here for anyone that could benefit from it. Some VO have PREFERENCE, some! That’s just the Sad truth. And, from my personal research, each 2- 3 years, I noticed the USA 9ja Embassy VOs’ do change “WHAT THEY REALLY WANT IN YOU”, aside their own personal preference sha. Before 2018: They want your docs to be GENUINE, a lot of administrative checks. Even if they’re to approval or denial you or denial. That’s when all these “I will show them my landed properties” and co do work for applicants. 2018, 2019-2020 (before Covid): They’re looking for genuine student, by showing you write AT LEAST one standardized exam. Most guys on this path in 2019 have GRE unlike now, everybody knows they’re like waiving it. 2020 above: Genuine students via FULL FUNDING. Traveling history to see if you’ve been exposes to ‘Good life’ before this opportunity. The best bet? IF POSSIBLE, Try find/observe a VO that would hear you out, the one wey go allow you talk and decide your fate base on your convincing talks not just the profile you table. Mostly the female VO. Ok, GRACE. - MOSHKOM’s 2cent. |
Please, can I PM you too? I need your advice. Thank you Moshkom: |
Kondomatic:Sense is too much in ur head.... I hail. |
weighs about 15,000 to 20,000 pounds (6,800 to 9,100kg) - which is about six times the weight of 2014 Toyota Camry sedan. I wonder the engine in this car that will power it to manovuer with such weight.. |
[quote author=sultaan post=76298434]E carry Okada too? This is what our people see and they say Toyota is strong. Unfortunately those who ride in it never live to you should never ever load the bus more that it is rated[/quotel] That looks more like a mazda bus.. i cant think of any haice model like that rear light.. but lagos to ibadan route mazda bus has that rear light... though this bus clean pass them IWO road route |
Check the codes for the check engine light na.... the last i worked on a car with this issue it turned out one coil was dead... but i scanned it first and got dorected to ignition coil. The CEL was blinking too.... scan before attacking catalyst or assuming coil. |
Follow that advice that said brand new pump... fairly used are mostly previously worked on(repaired) in the market there.... if u buy second hand, u are just playing roulette with ur money.. and most times it always backfires... and let the mech bleed it well after installation... cos air in the system can still spoil it... plus dont let them catch the fliud and reuse it, buy fresh ATF free of contaminants. |
ceejay675:There is a leak... the coolant should circulate and quantity should retain... changing ur radiator was a waste of ur money. The water u refill everyday is going somewhere.. look for a puddle of water under ur parked car in the morning... if u cant find that puddle.. then check the exhaust if its steaming pure white smoke even when hot it could be a head gasket leak... but before doing an expensive head gasket job have ur mechanic check the usual suspects... eg. Hoses and their clips... hoses should be firm too, soft hoses sjould be changed... use those gas screw clips... chevk water pump, use sealant if needed.. check under the dashboard for wet patchs... though rare the heater core there can leak too.... for the fact u ve to top coolant that often its a leak problem... find the leak. |
themosthigh:Bros sorry oh... but which one is inter crural? |
shadeyinka:U say ..... without the themostat some cars will never go into closed loop.. staying in open loop means the ECU just pours fuel and more fuel cos it cant get set temperature parameters from the ECT to regulate its fuel input... more fuel means can cos sludge or black smoke from exhaust overtime... it also means ur engine wont work optimally or live as long... even cars made in africa for africans still ve thermostat... thermostat is not for region its for the engine no matter the region. |
You obviously no like her reach... u still call her sugar mummy..lol... the money still dey ur eye... kwantinu until she brings out the warri in her... better get sense before she change am... as u dey its not a proposal... say No first make u see... congrats bro cos as u dey u don marry or u go soon dey hospital or worse... lol |
Its a lovely car.... stronger than i originally assumed till i used someones own for months when she travelled out. |
excel111:Try this... turn on ur car, then remove negative battery cable... if the car dies then ur alternator isnt charging the battery well enough.... ur alternators produce AC volts that is converted to DC volts by 6 diodes if those diodes are bad then ur alt will produce more Ac volts and less DC which wont be enough to power the car elecs... so u will ve a case of not enough charge... Another thing that can cause this is a loose belt, where the belt isnt transferring enough power to the alt pulley to spin the rotor fast enough so u ve low output too... My advice.. check the belt first, it should be tight, firm and straight across all pulleys... check the belt tensioner... a weak tensioner can cause the belt bounce as it spins.. Get a voltmeter.. while the engine is running chevk the battery volts.. u shud ve btw 13V-15V... anything less or more is too little or too much If these two things are ok then u ve bad wiring problem where one item turns on another(short circuit) and causes an amps overload but that should blow a fuse unless kamoru has replaced ur fuse with thick copper wire.. Las las ur problem is within those 3 places... dont get scammed into buying new batt.. the pry job of car battery is to crank engine after that alternator takes over.. if ur batt can start the engine the battery is good |
The check light should be showing... have the car scanned so u dont end up throwing parts... the problem could be anything from a faulty transmission, low atf, a bad shift solenoid, even a faulty ECM... a scan we point u to the right direction |
If it doesnt smoke at all and u are sure then u ve a leak.. where e fit dey drip from... check all around the engine (under too)for oil stains.. wash all u find with fuel and painters brush.. let it dry then drive the car for like 30mins.. check for oil stains again.. places to suspect.. the sump, the drain bolt, where cylinder head joins engine cover(where d camshaft dey), oil seal behind crank pulley... just wash the oily engine and be driving it the idiot will expose itself wen it leaks on the now clean engine |
debawilliam1:If u dont find in benin and u ve anyone around ajah, lagos u can send ur drive to the person i will copy the files in it for you... for free before u think i ve ulterior motive..lol. i knw how external drive can corrupt or stop spinning sef .. since u ve it installed and its not a fresh installation u just need the files i fit give u if u no find for benin. |
Manual advantages:.... Cheaper to buy, cheaper transmission, sweeter to drive(for some ppl sha) Auto adv: easier to drive, other ppl can rush u to hospital with ur car..lol, If this ur client lives in lagos or a busy city manual is not an option unless he's looking for a good lower left leg exercise... But why will anyone consider a manual tranny for a personal car? |
IGBEAGHOGH:I wont advise rebuilding ur transmission... Just change it outrightly but when u go to buy it go with a seasoned mechanic that can tell if its tokunbo or nig used so they dont sell u rubbish.. even i wont know i psyche and pay one ajegunle mechanic with over 20yrs experience to follow me and the client when we buy engine... I cant help u with the price but i advise u change it.. internal components are tightened to precise torque.. blackman tightens every thing with wrench and hammer... Bros save urself from spending money later buy the complete tokunbo unit... You might ve to reach lagos for that though |
Edozie13:The roof.. cos he said we should not block with sealant. |
megasoul:Please how did you get it fixed? |
kolnel:No be small HONE THEIR SKILLS...lol |
Bros i fear pass you... A camry was towed to and has been at our workshop, mechanic yard kind of setting, diff ppl diff skillset . After mech works and the car could drive and they had panel beated the car back to life just remain the paint job but the dashboard was lit with all kinds of lights.. the dealer who owns the car asked that the lights be wiped he was told that dey will come back unless the problem is fixed... he said we ajah mechanics dont knw work.. he called some rewire guy from oshodi abi na ladipo sef... I was so interested in what the guy would do so i carry eye put... This mad man just pulled out cluster, identified srs bulb, check light bulb, VSC bulb and cut them, use pliers to pull the wire coating to expand over the cable inside on the supply side then on the bulb side joined all these wires to alternator light.... I wan faint... I ve heard crazy things but i was seeing this one... So everything lights up on ignition and goes off when engine starts... The only thing that will make those bulbs light na charging problem... And some will buy this car... If a full diag scanner is not plugged u go think say e no get fault. |
tolugar:Your car uses an electric steering thats why a bad alternator will affect it.. others cars still use hydraulic steering, in that case it can be low fluid or a bad pump or even a bad or slacked drive belt |
Before touching ur transmission(a journey hard to recover from)... Check ur fuel pressure before and after the filter.. that helps diagnose a bad pump or filter.. if all is fine check injector spray pattern for clogged or dead injector nozzles... Also check air filter, then hope none of the codes said anything about catalyst?... Cos if the catalytic converter don dey block that can cause yhe engine to jerk instead of exhaling freely... These tests will take care of the fuel and air supply. Then check sparkplugs fire well... Did u ve any ignition related codes?... Pls dont touch ur transmission unless u ve codes pointing to transmission |
Who have to first read codes causing the check engine light to go off... Solve that first... Come back and tell us if that solved ur problem... Never ignore a check engine light, a small fault can cause a mighty problem if let unsolved. |
Woke up to see my alert.. Thanks @holardeb |
