Reasons:
1. Hollywood: cos I can't sit my @ss for complete two hours to watch a repackaged version of a movie I watched 2 weeks ago...and to even think the movies don't always make sense and very predictable, I must say. I can't imagine myself leaving the cinema and start questioning the main point I grabbed from the movie I just watched.
Among what pisses me off the most is when they start chasing one criminal(the lead character) and they keep bashing the cars on the road. Abegi, if that's how police bash people's car in the name of chasing criminal, no one will own a car again.
Another thing is when they want to fight the notorious guy(which we all know they will not succeed), they keep coming one after the other. I'm always like, can't they just rush the guy at once? Mtcheew. No matter how hard they try, Hollywood movies don't move me with their suspense anymore cos I can tell you how it will later turn out to be. Spartacus is the most ridiculous of the recent TV series, with too many blood splashing everywhere like humans have blood bank in their inner skin/ or are their organs made of blood? Lols(that's just among many other unrealisms the movie entails) . Titanic is an exception anyway, it was very realistic and less predictable.

Lol, you forgot to mention that the police/rescue/help come late, after the actor might have finished dealing with the bad guys.

On the other hand action films are not meant to be that deep and realistic. The gun slinging, explosions, car bashing and other stunts are what we enjoy.

What most you don't understand is capitalism doesn't play fair. It takes lots of wits and guts to survive it.
