You have probably seen my threads somewhere on Nairaland on websites and themes and printing and graphics. Anyways, I am a 21 year old unemployed graduate, and I feed myself and a long line of others off my creative hustle.

What is my creative hustle?
Well, I am a web designer, and I don't know how to write code. I am a CMS guy (Wordpress). Now, in the space of two jobs, if I am trying to be understanding with clients, I rake in on the average. N180,000. I am not on Fiverr and I am not going there anytime soon.


I learnt wordpress from my house and didn't pay anybody for the knowledge I got. I am presently building a website for a Multinational NGO. If you want a link, I can share too

I am often the first person who comes in the minds of tech startups trying to outsource. Mostly because; on wordpress, I can build any kind of website.

The template is good. However, what is that blue overlay on your post thumbnail? Please Fix it, it hurts the eyes. Then your ads are too many or somewhat disorganized. Why does your search button look like an ad? I was even scared of clicking it. Then why is the footer so far away from the end of the posts. Please work on the designs again. All the best

Now, I stumbled upon wordpress when I was looking up 'How Linda Ikeji makes her money' this was in the year 2012 and I was about to finish secondary school. I was thinking of what to do before getting admission and so I became a blogger (That didn't go well)

Now, plenty hardwork and sleepless nights came along with understanding this version but when I did. I tried out a gig and was paid N50,000. It wasnt much but as a student at the time. It was amazing pay.

I'm currently out of school and at home I am branded unemployed. But, Wordpress has got me covered. I am even paid to do presentations for this. That is get paid to talk about and show how wordpress works... Now, I am hooking up a whatsapp training for wordpress. Nothing fancy. I want to teach a bunch of people how to create a blog, a store, a microjob site (like fiverr) and forum site (what nairaland is) I will be creating a whatsapp group for this process. It will cost N1000 to join. I dont need a lot of people. Maximum fifteen. When I have fifteen people, I will start the introductory tutorial and then the members of the group can choose to pay to stay or leave.

OP even though you have a point there. I'd like to say this. Last month I built a 5k site for a nairalander. Now, this person did his/her domain name and hosting on his own. All I needed do was get to building his site. It's not every cheap offer that is a scam. What I did was an actual promo by an organization I work for.
