OmoFiditi: Those Kwara, Ekiti and Ondo results were clearly rigged without proper statistical expertise.
The numbers do not tally with accredited voters by a wide margin, they also do not tally with BVAS and IreV records. Stop spreading fake news....Ekiti was clearly 315K and PDP knows it. They signed it...It was read to them.....projected on the screen....PDP has lost they are looking for who will help them disrupt the process |
Politics › Re: How Many States Have Peter Obi Gotten 25% by IgOga(m): 3:00pm On Feb 27, 2023 |
Not meeting the 25% spread is what politicians call "wasting your vote"
The PDP and APC have met that requirement so they are in the clear....
In terms of highest number of votes APC is leading and looks like they will maintain that over PDP.....whether LP can bring in block votes from SE and SS to come first will be a different thing....
If LP has the highest number of votes there may be a rerun between APC and LP |

EmekaMD: You must be delusional if you still believe Tinubu stands any chance as at now..
Where ia he gonna get the votes from?
Don't be deceived because he is leading now, that's because most of all his strongholds have been called already and he didn't do so well even with all the riggings.
Lets analyse
1. In Lagos as it stands now, Obi would likely win Lagos 2. Osun has been won by Atiku 3. Kano has been won by Kwankwaso 4. Kastina has been won by Atiku 5. Most of the Southwest states have all been called. 6. Kaduna is now obviously gonna be shared between Obi and Atiku
So tell me where Tinubu is expecting the magic to come from?
Tinubu is out of the race
Now you wonder why the APC camp is so quiet? Even FFK the Food prefect that never stops talking To win election in Nigeria you need to win the highest number of votes not the highest number of states. It's the margins that is important |

Atiku's sole strategy is that the North will vote for him.....but with less than 10k win in Kastina and outvoted in Kano by NNPP and APC......Tinubu is likely to have the highest number of votes required by the Constitution........
The law doesn't say win highest number of states but votes......this was why I said on nairaland last year that Obi can win if he concentrates on the Christian votes in the North....
If the opposition was united APC would have been buried by now |

grandstar: From results released on stears.co, Peter Obi has lost the election.
He did not meet the required 25% of votes presently counted in 15 states. This is despite that some state results hadn't even been released.
States Labor failed to achieve the required 25% based on already released results are:
Oyo Osun Edo state Ondo Ogun Kwara Kogi Adamawa Bornu Yobe Bauchi Kano Jigawa Sokoto Kebbi
Any contest of the result would be fruitless. The rigging in Lagos is not enough to change things in his favor.
For Atiku or PDP, he didn't meet the 25% mark based on the presently released results in the following states:
Benue Ebonyi Akwa Ibom Edo Kano Lagos Ogun Ondo
Tinubu or APC failed to meet the required threshold in the following states:
Benue Ebonyi Edo Kaduna (13.21%). LP won it with over 40% of votes
Please note that the flowing 12 states had yet to present any results whatsoever:
Abia Enugu Delta Gombe Imo Jigawa Kebbi Nassarawa Plateau Rivers Taraba Yobe

Nazgul: I want to ask a question...
If candidate A wins 9 states and gets 25% in more than 24 states.
And candidate B wins 15 states, has higher numerical figures but doesn't get 25 % in 24 states.
Who would be declared winner? The constitution doesn't care about how many states you win. There are two conditions to fulfil to be declared President elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1. Win the highest number of votes cast in Nigeria 2. Secure 25% in at least 2/3rds of the Nigerian states and the FCT In the scenario above none of the candidates would have satisfied the condition...inec can approach the courts for interpretation in this case......1979 election comes to mind |
