Romance › Re: Exclusively For The Ladies.what Would You Prefer As A Guys First Line/impresion? by iice(f): 4:26am On May 23, 2007
i don't base the longevity of my friendships on first impressions. Even after so many years, i can still cut the ties and fly. I also do not expect much initially, its as we talk that i get a grasp of what kind of personality he has. Having said all that. I like meeting guys at parties.

I have not yet reached the stage where a man's money is more important to me than the person he is.  Maybe one day i'l get to that point, but for where i am right now, its irrelevant to me personally. But ah aint into gold diggers (yes some men are that way)
Education › Re: Nairalanders In College/ University by iice(f): 5:37pm On May 22, 2007
Loved my school! Had a lot of fun. Wasn't easy at first coz i was used to skipping some classes in high school (to sleep! grin). In uni, attendance was imperative for you to pass a class, if you had a class twice a week, you are allowed only a maximum of 5 days absent for the whole term. If you got sick, you had to present a doctor's report etc. Two lates (as in late to class) constitutes an absent shocked grin Have to complete atleast 90% of homeworks because it is part of your final grade. When its midterms and you feel that you cannot make it (as in pass in the class) you have the option of withdrawing from the class, this saves you from having a fail but you will still have to take the class the next term or whenever to graduate. Despite how strict (at first to me) it sounds, my school is known to have a mixture of seriousness and playfulness. Some local artists are from my school (actors, musicians, models, celebrities) People in multimedia arts had the best luck lol, they got to color hair (thats if you are in a band), wear funky crazy outfits. They were so creative. Same as those in Industrial Designing, they always had exhibitions.

Interesting!

Does this mean that you will like Vitastraka,

Vitastraka is poorer than a church rat, but has ALL the other qualities.

Vitastraka rides Molue from Oshodi to get to work but is loving, honest, witty, humorous, romantic, caring, passionate.

Is Vitastraka the answer you have been looking for?
Not quite right for me grin

Fashion › Re: Ur Dressing Will Determine The Kind Of Regard U Will Have In The Public by iice(f): 1:40pm On May 21, 2007
Depending on where you are going to, the people around that area and how comfortable/confident you feel, not everyone will regard you with respect or not.

My cousin, whenever he uses public transport to travel to our grandparents house, he dresses really razz as in tattered shirt, slippers with holes and shorts. If you look at him, you wouldn't believe he has money. He told me the more razz the better. grin

I dress how i want to and what i feel comfortable in regardless of the situation and the location. I could go to a naija party with my jeans, tee and sneakers, where all other girls are dressed to the nines. Simple, i don't care what most people think of the way i dress. They don't know me, don't know the clothes i have in my closet grin more importantly, dress style doesn't always reflect the person you are.

My bro's gf, no matter how she tries to dress razz cannot really pull it off. Despite the effort to look somewhat less than 'sophisticated' and 'sensual' she still oozes it.

I had this one classmate whom dressed simply. Never wore too tight clothes, no make up, no adornments etc. Underneath was a lust for fame and fortune. She's now chasing one local artist who is her father's age.

I had this other classmate who we all thought was filthy rich, always had manicures thrice a week, dressed to nines etc. We found out she bought her clothes at the thrift and bargain shops. Hey! we thought she actually went into luis vitton to buy her bags, armani for her clothes.

Sometimes, people are more or less than what/whom they seemed to be. It's projection of an image you want others to think you are.

i mean, after that piece of retarded shit, my mind pratically went blank from the stupidity of it all! Hell, might as well join ol' Gramps in singing "Won kere si numba wa" when next i'm bored![/quote]I was watching it on HBO, and thought ok so i'll watch it just to say i have watched it. *shudders to think of the money wasted* Seriously, from the scene she went to get the package, i lost interest and switched the channel. Pure crap! Milla Jovavich has never been one to pick correct roles, only film she made any much of an impact was in "The 6th Element". *shudders thinking of Joan of Arc, she bloody looked like she was having epileptic seizures!
TV/Movies › Re: A Short Film By Nigerians: Please Review by iice(f): 1:10pm On May 21, 2007
Dialogue needs work, some scenes need to be expanded, some actors need more direction, so as to give more impact.

It was just there. The ending part wasn't that bad especially between the two guys. The bond of friendship can be seen.
