logbon72: Hi all, while the press thing for pressid (pun intended) is a good idea. I think the right thing to do will be to first contact NUC for the status of the final list. After then it will make sense to go to the press. We shouldn't in too much desperation make these guys look bad or irresponsible. It's possible they are giving their best to this.Sometime ago wen I tried D̶̲̥̅̊ lines, see as D̶̲̥̅̊ girl just hush me for phone. I begin wonder if na support line be dat abi na personal line. We don wait here tire for info na, none seems to Coming... So |

Let's publish in D̶̲̥̅̊ papers. Dats why we're exceptional. We can't just keep quiet. |
With deep sense of loss buh with total submission to the Politics of Nigeria, we regret to announce the Unavoidable Death of Team PRESSID. Funeral Rites will be announced soon.... |
Nice comments so far! Just got 2 know about this thread & itz really exciting 2 see like-minds getting along well. I was fortunate 2b wit Prof. Okogie sometimes last week & he clearly stated dat d selection process was 30% 4rm SSCE result & 70% 4rm d apt test. D list submitted 2d presidency comprised 25% on merit list(as in, best 25 scores) & 75% based on quota system(2 best 4rm each state). I guess everything shud have been sorted out if not dat d Presidency rejected d list & sed no sentiments shud be used in d selection process. I must confess, dis has increased my admiration 4d president; standing by his words. From d 1st list submitted, I was told about 60% were 4rm d South West & South South, even wit d quota system used. I can only imagine how many percentage would come from same region wit d President's stance. Gudluck 2 all candidates sha!
@Immortal: pls can u do us a favor?? Pls be oppurtuned to meet Okojie aain today. Tell him about this thread and about worried nigerians. Some schools in uk started today nd US schools don start already.pls let dem release D̶̲̥̅̊ list anyhow and release some pple from bondage. Abeg I take God beg u. We go pay U̶̲̥̅̊я flight ticket |

Sayo14: Fellow compatriots! As much as I appreciate ur informative natures, I think we tend to be generating too much questions that are escalating our worries about the success of the scheme...rather, I`m of the opinion that we need to easen the tension that has accommodated our hearts at this point in time....For those who will eventually be selected , I`m pertinent that things will definitely sort themselves out when the time comes...Lets keep our fingers crossed...It will be well....exactly. Cos no one from pressid is seeing all these our posts. All we could just do is pray D̶̲̥̅̊ waiting ends dis week. Wateva D̶̲̥̅̊ selected scholars are told to do.... We hear. Dats Naija for u. We shld keep prayin for D̶̲̥̅̊ country though |

Well the latest info I heard is dat GEJ kinda rejected D̶̲̥̅̊ list. Said he wants D̶̲̥̅̊ best 100 whether na from D̶̲̥̅̊ same state or not.... So our wait enlongated. Guys..... |

PhatIon: I may be wrong, but I think you may be the lady I spoke with for sometime while waiting for the score SMS after the test, in front of the test venue who told me she scored 68 after receiving her score SMS. Although I didn't know her name & she didn't know mine, we only exchanged information related to PRESSID, I told her I was from lagos, my discipline, university etc. and she also told me hers, my priority that day was just PRESSID matters & not really much of socializing...lol...Lol. well I remember I had a long talk wit a "long" guy from ife right?? @pearl studied Electronic Engr. UNN |

PhatIon: @ijanarado: Nice piece of information,... This "kinda" confirmed my feeling that there may be something more to the delay of the list that we probably didn't know or understand... So, any other person who gets a reply from NUC or any other fresh piece of authentic information should please, endeavour to post it here in order to keep us updated. It'll be greatly appreciated.
