cococandy: Democrats should learn that republicans don’t care about the law, norms, family values, the working class, veterans, children, the police or God.
These are talking points they use to rile up their volatile emotionally stunted constituents into rage voting. Creating an atmosphere of hate that’s too distracting for anyone to actually focus on public wellness. While their distractions are working, they’re busy transferring more wealth to the billionaire class and shrinking the middle class each time they are in office.
Republicans are like Nigerian politicians. They don’t believe in continuity and building on what their predecessors started. It’s actually not surprising they have a lot of Nigerian supporters. The parallels are there. Read someone said Biden shouldn't have pardoned Hunter as Trump will now use it as justification for J6 pardons. Was maddening to hear. Dems still somehow believe that their actions or lack of actions would restrict the Republicans in any way. Madness. |

FarmlandInc: The same corrupt FBI bought cases against a former democrat Senator and the current Mayor of NY, but cases against Trump and other characters are political witch-hunt in your opinion. Hunter's case has also been in the court by FBI. So don't cry corruption if Biden pardons Hunter and a future Democrat president nominates him to be Secretary of State. The election of Trump has already and will have massive negative consequences over the next 4 years and beyond if the spineless GOPs in Congress doesn't stand up to Trump. This whole thing is ridiculous. And also shows the weakness of Democrats. Trump comes in and fires Republican Comey whose FBI basically helped him win. He puts in another Republican Christopher Wray. Democrats come in and decide to respect the 10 year FBI tenure and keep Trump's FBI pick. Wray effectively helps push back Trump's investigation. Republicans think fellow Republican Wray isn't sufficiently Trumpy. Trump replaces Wray with someone even more Trumpy. So, while Democrats are trying to honor norms and so, keep Trump's FBI appointee. Trump violates those norms again. And what did adhering to these norms get Dems. Just Republicans talking about how rigged the FBI was. |

Can you point me to any Trumper here who has an actual understanding of his policies and their repercussions? Or can you post me to two posts by two tumpers who have the same understanding of what his tariff policy is? Slogans aren't policy. And no one is saying they deserve "all the bad things in life". bemeruca: So the clean one was made for whites or blacks to listen to, or they did it for adults and children?
You sound dumb, as usual. A white woman sings along knowing the lyrics of a song from a race she hates.
I guess she is going about looking for songs that have nigga so she can sing along and use the word.
Some of the things you say here when This post is gibberish like most things you write here. 1.) You're pretending or you don't know that clean versions of songs exist. They exist mostly so that these songs can be played on the radio without ruffling sensitivities and attracting FCC fines based on FCC indecency rules. 2.)So you then pretend not to know that easily googleable fact in order to defend a white woman who seems to have deliberately chosen a 15 second clip which began with the word "nigga" from a much much longer song. She could have started the song 1 second later. All the while there is the clean version that is broadcast on the radio all the time without the word "nigga" in it she could have used if she just liked that section. It's the same pseudo intelligent nonsensical bull shit you do here daily. Not even sure why a grown man would invest his life this way. But ey, mental illness is real. |

AmazonTopaz: The Republican party doesn't listen to them either yet they vote Republican. After everything Biden did for them why didn't they vote for him?
Democrats listened to them. Biden's agenda had them in mind. It's high time you all begin to understand that policies don't win elections but bigotry and culture wars do. That's not on the Dems that's on voters. Democrats should just sit back and watch you cannot help a people who don't want to be helped. I think this is the most important part. Policies didn't win/lose this election, it was bigotry, culture wars and disinformation peddled to people incapable or unwilling to understand the difference. The problem is how do Dems message to these people without the constant lying Republicans do? It's a problem. What made Trump successful is his shameless lying. Any party I would vote for wouldn't do that. The Dems aren't built that way. |

There is a Nigerian on Twitter I think his name is Taiwo (I can't remember his last name) he is in the USA. He became a citizen last year and I believe his job relates to travel agency/immigration information people etc. Do you know that this man voted for Trump?
It is my prayer that his business suffers as much loss as possible because Trump is going to kill tourism and immigration anyway. I blocked him on Twitter but I hope that in 6 months I get to see his account unblock him and read the complaints then block back. I don't get how someone would vote for a candidate whose policies will kill your business particularly given that many of your clients are likely Nigerians who will be affected by any travel ban/restrictions.
Some Nigerians abroad who vote conservatives are big time fools sha. I am not just talking about the USA. But Nigerians who voted Reform in the UK, who think that they are British citizens and will be unaffected by the Far-right's anti-immigration rhetorics, the idiots in Canada who support Conservatives etc. Those ones in Canada benefitted from Liberal policies but now are calling to oust them because they hate LGBTQ and abortion. Omo an oxymoron is an African Conservative living in the West. Hopefully, everyone will learn from the free lessons that Orange Hitler will provide. I hope he fulfills every of his campaign promises.
If people want to be foolish let them be. They will learn the hard way. Depends on what he does or what he can branch into, his business may boom. My homegirl is an immigration lawyer and was telling me she suspects she will be busy with all the challenges about to come down. She also warned people to get everything done asap. A friend is adopting a child from Naij, he just rushed to complete the paperwork for his son's US citizenship. There is going to be a lot of unknown consequences. |

are you a nigerian or not?
has the military not regularly killed civilians without consequences? do you not realize the trump learnt all the wrong lessons from his first term. did you not read how he wanted to send the military after protesters but they refused? did you not read about how protester were being renditioned? now trump wants boards that will vet military officers for loyalty to him. so they will follow whatever order HE gives. if you know you will kill protesters and get a pardon - what happens next? you think i can kill you and nothing will happen starts in one day?
if you are following the news musk is promising to gut different federal government regulatory agencies. well guess what - the same thing happened in nigeria in the 80s with muritala mohammad. some say that was the real beginning of the end of a competent civil service.
do you understand the importance of regulation and regulatory bodies? do you know about thalidomide babies? in the 70s the FDA stopped the sale of thalidomide in the US. protecting a generation of kids from birth defects . these are the institutions that team trump wants to tear down in the name of 'efficiency'

I am not sure you have an IQ greater than a dozen of eggs. There is always a clean version of a song. So, there is a version for people who don't want to use "Nigger" like me, a black person. So, she didn't pick the clean version, and started(tiktok lets you cue the song to where you want) the 15 second clip of a 4 minute and 41 song in a random place just before one of only 3 "niggas" in the song is said. If she started her clip 1 second later, no "nigga" and no drama. Now, I know learning and educational type things aren't your strong suit, but what do you think the probability is all that happened at random? You know that self hate can be a generational curse. Not so quite "Drill Baby Drill". Lol. It's as if all Turmp's words were just that, words. “If those rules were substantially changed, you would be able to drill more, assuming you have the quality and met your economic threshold,” Mallon said. “But I don’t think we’re going to see anybody in the drill, baby, drill mode. I really don’t.”
The US is pumping more than 13 million barrels of crude a day, exceeding every other nation and up almost 45% in the past decade. With a surplus looming next year , the global oil market is watching to see at what rate American explorers drill new wells. Many of the biggest US operators are taking a long-term approach to production, weighing when to bring certain wells online against their overall inventory.

AmazonTopaz: How well would Massachusetts be able to resists? Don't hold your breath but I hope so. So State laws trump Federal laws in areas the Constitution doesn't specifically grant that power to the Federal government. And the Federal courts take a while. Just need one Federal Judge to put a hold on it until it winds its way to the Supreme Court. And that can take a while to reach the Supreme Court. Not saying they will agree given the makeup but the time will help run the clock out. For legal citizens and legal citizens with means, it's less of a worry. It's going to be harder for immigrants on Visas or waiting to get their Citizenship or people without means. But I hear you. I don't expect it'll get that bad. But I renewed my 10 year Nigerian passport last year and have places in the East and Lagos. Nigeria is my safe place (hopefully remains safe) if the neet to flee ever arose. cococandy: They are sadly giving Christians a bad name.
The religion would be growing instead of shrinking if they didn’t present us a group of hateful people all the time.
A bunch of them Utah conservatives went out in the streets to protest the construction of warming centers in their city . Because they believe it might benefit homeless people.
I saw the video of location of the center and it wasn’t even in anyone’s neighborhood. So what’s the issue? They’d rather have people freeze and die in the sub zero cold than for those lowly homeless people have somewhere warm to stay alive.
I’m sure after they voted against that, they went to church and sang praises. Much like their forefathers would come back from Sunday church and go attend human barbecues of black people.
Something is seriously wrong with them. I’ve never seen a group of people make their whole personalities be about being anti everyone else but themselves. Jesus Christ would be ashamed to witness this if he were here today.
SMH. Have to be honest, a friend called me out on this when I complained about a homeless encampment near my alma mater. I immediately felt foolish. She asked me what Jesus would say or do. And I realized it was odd that so called Christian Republicans are the ones fighting not to help Homeless people while Blue State Dems do everything in their power to. Matthew 25:34-4034 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ |

LordAdam16: It's puzzling to you because you're mentally challenged.
Read up on the prelude to the Nakba. When the UN was preparing the groundwork for Resolution 181, the Arabs refused to legitimize the process. The Jews did. After the Partition, they went to war. 80 years and several war and territorial losses later, they're pleading for the Partition resolution they refused to be a part of. They've learned lessons from that. You have to be at the table, even if you don't like others at the table.
Before the war on terror, they were reliable Republican voters. The first President who made it a campaign plank to get out of the ME and not be interventionist is Trump. He attempted to draw down the numbers in Iraq and Syria. He set the ball rolling on leaving Afghanistan. Biden botched it as he was in a hurry to pivot to the European theater (the current Ukraine war).
Also, they had their finger on the political pulse of the nation. The endorsements did not come until later in the cycle when Trump was the favorite. And when you're stuck between two less-than-ideal choices, you try to get in the good books of the likely winner. Trump would have won without the Muslim vote. But it is a heck of a lot easier to solicit audience particularly through his in-laws, the Boulos, when they are part of the winning coalition.
Not to mention, most Muslims in the US are Sunnis. MbS, the defacto leader of the Gulf Sunnis, prefers Trump. So it's no where near sacrosanct that Trump and the Muslims are mortal political enemies.
Lastly, the Democrats really did f*ck sh*t up with the Muslims. And they partly did that because they assumed that the Muslims would not cross the Rubicon. Pretty similar to how they regularly give blacks lots of hopium every election cycle, then do nothing while in power. Because well, we're their only choice. They wouldn't vote for the racists. This year, Black Men, Muslims, Latinos bucked the trend. When you f*ck up, we'd hold our noses and vote for your opponents.
It's exactly how democracy is supposed to function. You don't reward non-performance. You punish it. Voters do not have an obligation to put up with your BS when you treat them like trash. Harris' husband is a Jew. Her [step] kids are Jews. You did not run Bernie Sanders or AOC. Harris was the one running around with Dick Cheney neo-con spawn. And her entire message was abortion throughout gestation and I'm not Trump.
No one in the media or establishment will make excuses for Trump. If he lets Netanyahu play him like a fiddle as Biden did, it'd be a stain on his legacy and it'll reflect on Republican odds of retaining the White House in 2028. Heck, it would improve the already high odds of Dems retaking Congress. He has been given a historic mandate by a cross-section of voters. How he uses it is up to him. But in 2 years, the bill will come due. And the Muslims who voted for him this year are just as willing and able to vote Blue in 2026 and 2028. They've taken a chance with the Republicans. It's up to the party to reward and build on it or lose it. But no one in either party can say the Muslims/Arabs did not give each party a chance. They absolutely did.
-Lord I stopped reading when you told me to read up on the Nakba. It's always the same thing with you. You don't agree with me because you haven't studied X. No, bitch, I don't agree with you because I have studied X.And your interpretation and understanding is flawed and leaves out context. You give too much credence to your barebones understanding of things, esp things happening in the US. You can't understand the US, without understanding the history or it's historical culture. You can't speak to the laws without understanding the laws or what the US government was created on. You seem to understand little of it, but spend a lot of time writing about it. Who does it serve to push out false information to people who read what you write? Does it make you feel better to sound smart yet make other people who read you dumber? You can save all the Bullshit you write for other people too uneducated to know that the shit you write is mainly Bullshit. |

AmazonTopaz: Are you serious? They are much more foolish than I thought. That's what Democratic Presidents have been pushing for decades why were they not paying attention? Yeah, imagine believing that about Trump who is besties with Netanyahu. Netanyahu would literally stay in his son in Law's(Kushner's) bedroom when Kushner was younger. Kushner said they should turn Gaza into beachfront property. But, funny enough, I had a convo with my 15 yo. niece last night. She was downloading me about school, friends, debate, her grades (gently ribbing her that she left some points on the table, she got a 3.85). She made the argument that they had this discussion in school and she made the point that Muslims probably preferred Trump over Harris because of how women are generally treated in the Middle East. Didn't want to see a woman win. Was impressed. I had never considered that and that may be a legit part of it. Because otherwise it is too ridiculous for words. |

I know more than two people on that route after this election results, thank God one has a house in Nigeria that he can stay in for the meanwhile before japaing elsewhere. That country is cooked. If anyone is to fix it it shouldn't be Nigerian Americans. Let them fix the mess they started. I will be getting entertained from the sidelines while it burns, Republicans are going to destroy many things if you are not seeing his cabinet picks as an indicator I don't know what to tell you. They are thinking of removing fluoride from water. Health care will soon be dead, I hope you live in a blue state for now, but if things get worse consider relocating. So, I see myself as American as well. When I took that oath, it resonated with me. (Don't ask me who I'd side if Nigeria and the US went to war). I'm in Massachussetts and I trust our government will fight as hard as they can to make sure we are safe. I'm also assuming it's only 2 years as Trump will inevitably overreach and Dems will win back the House in 2026 limiting the damage though it may be best if they didn't so Trumpers can see the full force of ridiculous policies first hand. Bannon did time. Navarro did time. Weisellberg did time. Guiliani is being put through the ringer. Jones lost his studio.
Garland went after pro-life advocates. Some were jailed. He investigated parents protesting school board policies.
You are too ret**ded to gaslight.
Garland charged Rep George Santos. If he found anything remotely prosecutable on Gaetz, he would absolutely have indicted him. He had nothing.
Biden ended the Remain in Mexico policy. He did not need Congress to remove it. He did by executive fiat. He opened the borders. It happened under his watch and he told Americans there was no crisis at the border.
Elections are over. Americans made their choice. If you had such a rich trove of compelling messages, you would not have run an airhead who campaigned on limitless abortion and my opponent is a Nazi.
LOSER!
-Lord You should go through the prosecutions and figure out what they were prosecuted for and who prosecuted them. You seem not to understand the difference between States cases and Federal cases. Also look at the Judges who ran the Federal cases esp. the Bannon one and what he said during his sentencing hearing. (It was a Trump appointed Judge). And you seem not to understand the principle that noone is above a Congressional Subpoena. It's a fundamental principle of the Separation of Powers. Again, you just string together random pieces of information. You clearly don't have an understanding of the US legal system or the values that America was created on. And you use your understanding of an Autocratic, lawless Nigeria to decipher it all. The election is over. Americans made their choice. And again, you are not American. It's so odd that you are somehow gloating about what is happening in America as if it affects you while fuel in Nigeria is 1k and rice is 100k. And unlike Trump supporters. I blame it on sexism and racism too but then the most important thing I blame it on is mis/disinformation plus the fact that the average voter is a dumb idiot.
Democrats cannot message to stupid people. Let stupid people experience what they voted for. The Democrats have candidates to counter that they have a rich bench. Harris was among that bench just accept it that your country folks are big time fools. In Europe Trump wouldn't even be a candidate. Look at Brazil Bolsonaro might go to prison but look at the United States they elected a criminal for President. There is no messaging this there is nothing Democrats can do other than let Americans experience Trump and Project 2025, your country folks are evil, fools, stupid, idiots and whatever curse words exists in the dictionary. Such a shame. America shouldn't be lecturing any nation with a dumb populace like that. I agree but Americans aren't getting smarter(cutting Department of Education) and the Media/Disinformation isn't changing under Trump. So, the only way Dems can get in power to fix those things is to find some way to message to stupid people. Lol. |
