After calling virtually every second I finally got thru to the VFS contact center... Spoke with a Raymond( the guy sef don sabi me well) He said passports submitted to the embassy with tracking ID 20201112CAL.... are still at the Embassy and have not been processed.

Guess that explains why I’ve not received LOI or counterfoil on my IRCC portal because when I check the VFS tracker, it says passport has been processed and dispatched from embsssy to CVAC.

Raised webform last week, no reply till now.

Just say make I update una wey don dey try reach them too.

Honestly, I’m tired of stressing.

Pls those of us that got notification that passport had been processed and dispatched to VFS but did not receive any counterfoil or status change on IRCC... any update?

I strongly doubt that they have touched my passport at all as I haven't gotten the VFS mail that says it's under process at the visa office. Most people get it before the final approval update. Hoping for the best though.

I managed to reach VFS this morning, was told my passport is in transit from the embassy to their office. But still no counterfoil or change in status in my application portal.

Still excepting a feedback from the webform I raised.

I have also sent IRCC Lagos a webform. A few days before getting PPR, Nairobi replied to my webform and said my application was finalized so i guess we dont have any business with Nairobi as Lagos is the only one to decide our fate right now. I really hope all goes well

Pls help with the link for IRCC lagos webform. I can only see for Nairobi and Beijing.

I reached VFS, they said I should send a mail to IRCC that the issue should be from their end. I sent mails to IRCC Lagos, Abuja, London and Nairobi. London replied that their office isn't processing the application and recommended I use a web form. Lagos and Nairobi sent automated message to use a web form.

I used a web form twice and directed it to Nairobi and Lagos. Fingers crossed..they should not play rough play with us oooo.

I'll try to call VFS tomorrow again when they would have received my passport which they said is on transit to their office and try to find out if was stamped.

I’ll raise the webforms too, seems you gots fight for your matter before things get done now.

I’ve sent emails to IRCC lagos but got a automated mail saying I have to raise a webform as the high commission is operating at reduced capacity due to COVID.

If you haven't gotten your counterfoil then it's not normal. Call VFS to confirm and then contact IRCC too.

Been trying to reach VFS but their number has been busy all day.

Looks like your passport is ready. I got 3 mails from vfs this morning. And I have the same message as yours when I tracked it

I guess so but others usually get their status changed or counterfoil message on their IRCC portal. Do you any of these? Cos nothing has changed on my portal.

I don’t get emails from VFS but I usually check on the tracking platform and saw this now... thing is nothing has changed on my IRCC portal... no counterfoil or LOI.

You pple even get emails from VFS about your passport.... Me I have to manually track it on their platform daily .... The wait for passport stamping and return is now more tedious than the application process itself.

I’ve found old Chinese Kung fu movies to be a very healthy distraction from the constant mails refreshing and tracking.

From VFS... none. I use their platform to check and it says pp forwarded to Visa Office on 18th.

I’ve not received any mails from IRCC since my PPR on the 3rd.... Had to even hound VFS Lagos for two weeks with calls before I got a tracking ID for passport they received on the 6th.... I called yesterday though and they said it’s still with the Embassy.

The name of the Deputy High Commisisioner/Acting High Commissioner of Canada to Nigeria is Ryan Ward.

You can send him a mail too on ryan.ward@international.gc.ca.

I bombarded them with mails last week sha. I even sent a mail to Marco Mendicino (the IRCC minister). Funny enough, they usually, unlike those webforms that they don't respond to.

I basically reported Lagos office to them.

What was your feedback when you mailed IRCC?
