Mcdonelldouglas:If that works for you, then that's all that matters, because the most important in life is what resonate with one and meanings you give to things. However, there is always a feedback/consequences to everything we give out, thoughts, words/actions, etc. I understand that engines and gearboxes design for city use usually become noisy or harsh as rpm increases. Meaning, their higher gears may/can work well on lower Rpm too. However, note that vehicle speed (speedometer) does not necessarily determine the fuel consumption, but the engine speed (Tachometer). Because vehicle A can be doing 130 km/h and tachometer is showing 4,000 rpm. While vehicle B is doing same 130 km/h but tachometer is showing 2,000 rpm or less. It all depends on engines power or design (number of cylinders, hp, engine torque, turbo or NA, etc), gearbox (number of gears, ratios, etc), etc. So, to study your vehicle in this area you are addressing, pay more attention to the Tachometer with what speedometer indicates. Ikenna, The Lion King. |
Mcdonelldouglas:Your first two points (1 & 2) are in order. But for the 3rd point, I have this to say: Skipping manual transmission gears places unnecessary load and stress on engine, since the engine will have to stress itself to carry unnecessary load placed on it, when the vehicle has not gathered enough momentum meant for that gear shifted to. Shift through all gears to allow vehicle gradually gain momentum with proper engine response and matching gears. It's a stick car, enjoy that fun and better sensations it was designed to give you. Depending on gear ratio and engine, skipping gears will increase fuel consumption. As for what you said about cruising on 50-60km/h on 5th gear. It will increase your fuel consumption when you do that. Depending on engines and manual gearboxes, if not all, engine works better on gear 3 from 50-70 km/h. Doing vehicle speed on gear 4 & 5 less than 2,000 rpm will increase fuel consumption. And on 50 km/h on gear 5, the rpm will be below 2,000 rpm, an unnecessary stress on the engine, which is why you get that pinking engine sound when doing such speed on such gear. Manual Gears 4 & 5 on Peugeot cars consume less fuel between 2,000 -2,800 rpm. Anything below that rpm on those 2 gears, consumption will increase. Even if you can manage stick gear 4 on 60 km/h, definitely not gear 5, if you want less fuel consumption, proper engine running and healthy gearbox and clutch components. Ikenna, The Lion King. |

The funny thing is, your conscious mind (in this case, those people that love you so much that they want you to betray you to please them) will show you "Facts" about how millions of People have rejected or criticized Peugeot or good life to you. Because the people, your conscious mind, believed the majority, everyone other than you yourself is right, while you are wrong or dumb to know what you want or your purpose in life. But then, the same conscious mind of yours will not remind you that about 90% of world population are poor, while less than 10% of the people in the whole world are wealthy. Meaning, if majority of the world population is rejecting something, who are those? The Wealthy or the poor? And why is only less than 10% of world population rich? Because they have chosen not to live by world expectations or seek the world validation on what to do or peoples validations to follow their inner joy or life purpose. While the 90% cling onto "We" and remained in the realities they created for themselves, because they have separated themselves from their inner beings, betrayed their inner beings, self-doubted their inner beings, chosen to be inferior to others and chose other people's path of lives. The rich men cars don't come up in their "most reliable and durable or best economical cars" review sites and forums and they don't bother or wonder why it is so, or probably too busy criticizing the realities they have created for themselves or enjoying them. Those that understand my posts do that because what i talk about goes beyond Peugeot brand. It cut across life generally. It’s always good to once in awhile quiet your mind (call it reflection or meditation) and ask yourself, “What is your Life purpose? All the beliefs you have been programmed to accept, how are they serving you? If the purpose of you being on this planet is to experience joy althrough, how has that been working out for you? If not so well, why do you keep backing away from that joy? If there are beliefs or opinions that are not serving you, get rid of them, for a fresh start, for your abundance or life you want to start manifesting, since those beliefs are holding you back. Because when you ignore your inner being that knows what will keep you in that joyful mood, you are setting forth a sad one, a life of struggle and misery. Most times, I meet people who would tell me how much they admire Peugeot cars, how much they would love to have that Peugeot or this Peugeot. But then they would go on to tell me how afraid they are to satisfy that inner being or jump into that happiness already activated. Because they heard this bad thing or that would happen if they buy a Peugeot car, from people they met or know, from peoples opnion online or because of what they heard someone else is experiencing with his or her Lion. They are backing away or given up their happiness because of fear programmed in them that other peoples opinion or experiences would reflect in their lives too. They will keep asking me, “What if that happens? What if this happens? What if they were right? What if i don’t deserve that happiness but to settle for safe zone and stay there? They are ignoring the present moment that matters most, worrying over the future or past they have no control of. Everyone creates his or her own reality, so when you make another man’s reality a fact, it becomes yours as well, in every spheres of your life. That Universal Law is very powerful, but people are not aware of what they are doing to themselves, instead, keep pushing blames to Government, that tribe, that race, that country, that man, that woman or that group for unpleasant experiences he or she is having. Peugeot cars are energies that keeps you in that constant happy or exciting joyful mood, if that what your inner being yearns for. Peugeot cars are not the happiness. They keep you permanently in that happy mood you have created, for they are fun to drive. Oh my God! They are. Your own happiness is different from every other person. Because there is no other YOU on this Earth. Yes, you are that Unique. Don’t live to regret the things you didn’t do that you could do and had the opportunities to do. That’s a regret of man that separated himself althrough his life and realises that at old age or at the point of exit from this physical life. You always have a choice! Ikenna, The Lion King. |
My posts are not meant for everyone. Those that seek for knowledge will read every word in my posts and ask for more. Those that seek for knowledge would buy books that have 200-500 pages and still buy more to gain knowledge. So if my posts seem too lengthy for you, then its obviously not meant for you. However, people place value on things they spend money on, but place less value or take for granted what they don't spend money on no matter how valuable it is, because it's free. About 2-3 months now, I have been receiving mails and messages from people that visit Car Talk Nairaland, seeking for clarifications or confirmation of information spread on Nairaland that your location or where you live would determine if you should own a Peugeot or not. While I tried to explain or correct what they heard, more mails kept coming. Now I have decided to come to the source they got that information to correct that Impression. I know more than 2000 Lion owners all over the world. About a thousand of them are Nigerians. Out of those 2000+, about 300 are in The Lion Community I founded. The Lion community is made up of Africans, Europeans, Americans, Asians and Australians. The Nigerian Lion owners I know, including those in the Lion community, I know the specific locations or states they all live, sometimes including the towns. Some of them don't live in the cities, yet they drive and enjoy their modern Lions. Some of them live in some parts of Nigeria some people would consider remote areas, yet they happily own and enjoy their modern Peugeot cars there. I know about 2 Lion owners in Nigeria that own Peugeot 508 and live in some states Car Talk Nairaland members have considered states not mapped out to own a Peugeot in. Most members of the Lion Community visit Nairaland, so they can tell you people if I was telling the truth or not. In fact, this evening, one of the lion community members that lives in Abuja called me, to draw my attention about a comment by someone in a thread in Car Talk, claiming that Peugeot 406 are the most broken down and towed cars in Abuja town. He was telling me, how come for the past two years he has owned his Peugeot 406 and done lots of trips with the lion, the Lion has never stranded him or get towed. He was laughing so loud when he said how come he lives in the same Abuja and didn't observe what the person claimed. He wanted me to comment on that post in that thread, but to me, what's the need? My intention has never been to convince a pervasive negative minded one to switch to positive, because they love where they are and the kind of energy they put out. My point is, anyone can own a Peugeot car in any part of Nigeria he or she lives in. One of the reasons I created The Lion Community is to empower Lion owners to stop feeling powerless in Peugeot ownership. Like I have taught them, they don't need a Peugeot specialist around them to own a Peugeot. All they need is the awareness of what to do on their lions to prevent breakdowns. Luckily, we have other Peugeot specialists or experts that contribute in educating the community on how to keep lions in good shape and on the road longer than their owners would expect. Also, members meet other Lion owners in their localities in the community and share information and contacts of good Peugeot mechanics and electricians they found good, for others living around to visit and try those recommended ones. It's a wonderful place. It's wonderful because rather than complain, hate or criticize Lions like some do on Nairaland, they seek for awareness on how they can enjoy their lions other people are enjoying. Lets talk about cost of Peugeot parts. They are busy telling you people how pricey or expensive Peugeot parts are or how unavailable they are. For example, they will tell you Peugeot 406 parts A cost N20,000, while it cost N1,000 in other brand. What they will not tell you is the Lion parts price N20,000 is the original or OEM price, but they will give the fake price of the other brand, not the OEM price. You would be surprised that sometimes, their OEMs will cost almost the same or may even cost more than Peugeot. Let's use Peugeot 406 for example and look at the cost of some parts. Peugeot 406 good tokunbo front shock absorbers cost N5,000 each (with complete kit and spring), while the tokunbo rear shock absorber cost N2,500 each. They are that cheap because they hardly fail. Ask Peugeot 406 owners how many times he has replaced his shock absorbers and you would be surprised that majority have not replaced theirs after years of ownership because they are that durable, not just reliable. Now, the brand new OEM of same Peugeot 406 front shock absorbers cost N35,000 (for the pair-2), while the rear new OEM cost N25,000 (for the pair) as well. Then we have lower quality new front ones that cost N10,000 each, while the rear ones of that quality cost N5,000 each. New Front brake pads of the same Lion 406 cost between N2000 - N12,000, depending on the brand, OEM or quality. New Oxygen sensor in same Lion cost between N5,000 - N26,000, depending on brand, OEM or quality. EW engine new MAP sensor in same Lion cost between N5,000 - N12,000 depending on OEM or Quality. New Ignition coil on same engine cost between N12,000 - N25,000, depending on Brand, OEM or quality. Recommended New Spark plugs set (4 pieces) for same engine cost between N5,000 - N8,000 depending on Brand, OEM, quality or type. New front brake disc cost between N10,000 - N20,000, depending on OEM or quality. New Timing belt on same Peugeot 406 with EW engines cost between N5,000 - N10,000 depending on brand, OEM or quality, etc. Now, check prices of all parts listed above. Check the prices of both original and fake ones of your brand that is not Peugeot and tell us honestly how expensive Peugeot 406 parts are compared to that brand they told you that cost less, especially with car produced same years Peugeot 406s were produced. Aside the cost of these prices, I am authoritatively telling you that you could own and use a Peugeot 406 for 4 years replacing only one or two listed parts or without even replacing any of those parts at all. They can really be that durable. Most of them are Bosch, except ignition coil produced by Sagem (OEM). They will tell you Peugeot technology sucks or they are very or difficult to diagnose. Let me put in this way. When you asked most Art students how they perceive Mathematics subject, some might tell you Mathematics sucks or they hate the subject and all that. They perceive it that way because they don't "Understand" the subject. While a Science student would wonder how could someone not understand Mathematics which is not a difficult subject, because they perceive it that way. Same way, when someone don't or couldn't understand Peugeot cars ignition, injection, emissions or the entire electrical and mechanical systems, they will likely hate the brand because they don't "Understand" them, just like Arts student do with Mathematics. So man will always want to justify to the world why his inability to understand something is not his fault, even when no one is blaming him or her. That's what the conscious mind does, to those that have lost alignment with whom they are or seek validation from other people to be happy. Ask most humans, they will tell you they hate the animal called Lion, because they prey on humans. They perceive Lion that way because they cannot control or overpower Lion. They love dogs and cats in the same specie because they can control them, and sometimes, prey on them. Same way they hate Lion for preying on them, yet the same humans show no mercy to Chickens, goats, etc, you see. Always hating what they don't understand, control or overcome. Speaking of judging! However, some people understand same thing they hate because they couldn't understand it or term it "Impossible". But as far as the Universe is concerned, nothing is impossible. So rather than beat yourself up over something you don't know, why not ask to be educated to know or be aware of these things? A friend, who used to be very active in this Car-Talk Nairaland sent me a message recently, saying he noticed I don't frequent Car Talk anymore. However, he himself had seize to be active here too because the interest has dropped, because the section has degenerated to something else. I laughed. I did that because I knew why he felt that. What he observed was absence or lack of Exchange of values. His level or standard has exceeded that of this section and section has nothing to offer back to him that benefits him, instead , demoralizing him or pulling him back. The truth is, this Car Talk Nairaland has been transformed to another name I would call Poverty Arena for poor minded people. Because it is in this section that whenever anyone seek advice whether to go for a V6 or V8 car, he would be asked "Who does that? Why would you buy a car that will waste your resources in fueling, don't you know you are too poor to own a V6?" Its also in Car Talk that members would discourage one seeking advice to go for a new car, by telling him or her what a wasteful resources it would be blowing millions of naira on a new car, when the a small part of that money can get you a used car? To this section, the preaching of prosperity is strange, because really, who does that? People don't do that? Same way, when someone make a desire of his/her known about stepping up or upgrading to a European car such as Peugeot, the section members would post and wonder what could be wrong with the poster, because no one does that. Everyone in the section ought to have known you stick with the brands they known are designed for the poor or you spend only widows mite to own. Because to them, they heard Peugeot cars are expensive to own, while this other brand they have all accepted is cheap to own, reliable and durable. Speaking of reliability and durability, they will tell you Peugeot cars are nightmares to own because they heard they always breakdown, always seen towed or parked by roadsides broken-down. Lets do a test. Step out of this thread for a moment. Go through the first 50 threads in this section that specified car issues. Check the issues been sought for solutions, check the car brands been discussed, check how minor or severe those issues were. Then come back to this thread and really tell your in all honesty, how truly Peugeot cars are with issues, compared to other ones the other brands are having. You would be surprised that even the abused Lions don't suffer half of what other brands go through. Yet, they are busy preaching to you how bad Peugeots are. The interesting thing, 99% of them always stand afar while pointing accusing finger to Peugeot brand. You will hear them saying, " The review sites said Peugeots are this. The 100 millions of this people said Peugeot is that. I heard Peugeot is this. They said Peugeot is like this. They said, they said, I heard, we heard, etc.". Ask them one question to know if they have ever touched a Peugeot key, they will start wobbling. Yet they know all about Peugeot they have never owned in their lives. What people do is live in the past or live in social media and news stations, which I simply considered a deliberate programming of powerless minded ones. Give your attention, at least, 5 minutes to news stations and social media, all you will be seeing or hearing is how your generation was cheated last generation, how your tribe was marginalized before your fore fore fathers were born, how the Christians did that, how Muslims did that, how Americans did this evil, how middle East did that, how Israelites did that, What evil this tribe or race did to your generation, how this or how that. Yet, people keep wondering why there is so much tension, wars, terrorism, calamites, etc, in the world simply because people have chosen to let go to live in the moment, so the medias will continue to give them that that they desire. Same way, some will scan the whole internet, looking for information some people who probably had passed posted online about Peugeot cars, and they held onto it to prove a point in the moment that they were right for saying this about Peugeot. As funny as this may sound, I receive PSA bulletins on their monthly sales and their sales increases on monthly basis. But some are busy beating the drum how horrible they heard Lions are, while the current world is moving on, leaving them behind while they are stuck in the past of those who probably don't exist to maintain their earlier opinion or even probably join those that currently now enjoy Peugeots. I remember one of those that used to criticize Peugeot here in Car Talk. One day, he contacted me that he would want me to add him in The Lion community. Why? Because he got himself a Peugeot! Same Peugeot he was beating drum here in Car Talk that was a no go area. But he left his "We" here and joined the lion family secretly. Really, a wonderful world! I was invited to give talk on Car Maintenance to a Corporation recently, to their official car drivers. While in the session, some of other staff joined, to learn tips they would apply on their personal vehicles. During the question time, one of them stood up and ask, "How come it is this easy to own a car and prevent unnecessary breakdown, yet people don't get it?" My reply to him was, "what matters is that you got it". Because, its simply, some people don't want to get it. Because no matter how you beat the drum, some would still tell you that Nigerian weather is hotter than Sun, so one should have his cooling thermostat removed. Same way some will still tell you that no matter all the information you have given about how to own a lion and enjoy the lion, they will still tell you Americans said Peugeot is no good or What they said is a "Fact", what you are saying is false or wrong. So, I don't post, comment or explain to convince, but I do that because it makes sense to some that want to get it. That's why my profile would should you about 200 people are following me because what I say here make sense to them, otherwise they wont be following me. The truth is, the more some don't get it, the more the criticism. The more the criticism, the more the attention is drawn to the subject: Peugeot. The more attention is given to Peugeot, the more my explanations make sense to many or some. So its not for everyone to understand. Same way The Lion community is not for everyone, especially the negative minded ones. My intention has always been, go for that that makes you happy. That which even the thought of it gives you a joyous feeling, you should go for. Because that is your inner spirit in you telling you the path to follow that will open up more things that will bring joy to you. But when you choose to go for that which another advice you to do, against your inner spirit, then that's the worst self-betrayal you can do to you. Happiness is created, meaning, you create your own happiness or follow that that makes you happy. But when you leave that thing that makes you happy and do the another mans happiness, then you have separated your alignment with the God in you. Some said I preach selfishness and I always claim it, yes, I am very Selfish and have no apology for that. Lets look at it. They said I am selfish but they are not, but they want me to displease me to please them; they want me to betray me or give up my happiness so that I don't betray them or grow their happiness for them by given up mine. Yet they said "You are selfish, but we are not". The question should have been, who is more selfish than the other? If the thought of having or seeing a Peugeot Car gives you joyous feelings, then that's your happiness beckoning on you , because the spirit inside you talk to through impulses, urge, intuition, feelings, etc. Logic is learned, which comes from the conscious mind (the world you see). Logic will always want to rationalize why should you remain unhappy by staying back in that comfort zone or listening to people because they know better than you do. Logic or your conscious mind will always reason to you how daft you are, how dumb you are, how you are unworthy, how undeserving you are, how incompetent you are to make choice on what best for you, how every other person is better than you, etc. And all that manifest through circumstances, events and people. That's why you feel so powerless and confused when they come and tell you "We are experts in automobile industry, so when we say stay away from Peugeot cars, listen to us, because you are daft, dumb and incompetent to know what is best for you, because we know what is best for you". Your intuition, impulse, urge, guts, passion, feelings, will never lead you astray, because they already know what what doors that need to be opened for your abundance whom you are to start shinning. Joseph Campbell said, " Follow your Bliss and the Universe will open doors for you where there were only Walls." The same Joseph Campbell said, "The Cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek." For those who don't know, let me tell you a little story about me on how I followed my Bliss and it let me to whom I have become now. Few years ago, I had no knowledge about Peugeot cars the way I do now. I had little knowledge, but not enough. I was so scared of EFI cars. So I had this dream car and desire to own a Peugeot 505 V6. Every thought of the cars would put me in the best joyful emotion that I would always imagine what it would feel to stay in that happy mood forever. But when I started telling people that happiness and the urge to source for the lion and acquire one, everyone one called me stupid for even considering such an old car, a Peugeot and a V6 for that matter. While my conscious mind, the people, were busy trying to discourage me from going for that lion that gives me joy to own (including bad reviews posted about the lion all over the online forums, review sites), I went ahead and followed my intuition and impulse (inner spirit desire) and acquired the lion. Luckily, the lion had electrical issues when I received him after delivery, because I didn't know it was the design of that being in me to uplift me. One thing let to another and one day, suddenly, it was like Universe just downloaded a huge load of information inside me, including ones that came from sources I never expected. I single handedly fixed the lion and ever since, my life transformed completely. All that I am now, all that I know now, all the knowledge I am giving out freely on Peugeot systems, all the wealth that has been coming to me ever since, all that I am becoming now, came and are coming as a result of that decision I took to follow my bliss, not someone else bliss. Your own happiness matters more than anyone else in this world. Because you do not know what that will lead you to if you follow it. Your life purpose may not be in Auto industry like I have found myself in, but you have to follow your bliss and trust the God in you know what He is doing. If you don't like Peugeot, don't buy one. But if the thought or imagination of having a Peugeot car gives you joy, if you love having fun, if you want the abundance you are to start manifesting in your life, if you love being who you are, if you believe you are worthy and deserving of all good things, then go buy that Peugeot, for that is your bliss and forget another mans experience with his/her own lion, for that was his creation, his reality, not yours. Just follow your bliss/happiness, for everyone has his/her own path to follow. Trust your guts and follow your bliss, which will lead you to greatness. Life is all about experiences, this moment, right now that's all that matters. Don't worry about tomorrow you have no control over with. Don't live in the past that will perpetually keep you in the past if you keep focusing on it. Peugeot cars are wonderful animals. They are very easy, sweet and fun to own and drive. If you desire them, then you want them. You want them because you love them. You want something because you love it. You don't want what you don't love. Whatever happens, you have a choice and decision to personally make, FOLLOW YOUR BLISS! Ikenna, The Lion King. |
kclub83:Yes, converted driving position Peugeot 406 poorly done will give you that hard gear shifting issue. It's the reason I always suggest to people to go for factory Left Hand Drive Lions, if you really want to enjoy a Lion. However, you could be lucky. Change the cable and see what happens. Or probably the cable was not channeled properly while moving the pedals or steering from Right to left side. There are two warning signs that look similar to what you described on instrument panel. One is ABS, while the other is ESP (Electronic Stability Program). Though, not a Peugeot 406 have ESP. However, ESP works with ABS. So most times, when a lion ABS has an issue, the ESP will deactivate itself and give you that warning, pending when the ABS is sorted out. Likewise, steering Wheel Angle sensor can trigger that warning sign since it works with ESP too. Howerver, you can reintinalize the steering wheel angle sensor easily, without replacing anything or plugging in any tool. sensor can loose its function when work is done on steering or if steering was not properly mounted especially of driving position converted Lions. Anyway, the easiest, simplest and fastest way/method to find out what is causing the issues above is to carryout a PP2000 session in the Lion. It takes less than 10 minutes to do that. aloeeverhealth: aloeeverhealth:I said I would not comment on this thread anymore, but I couldn't look away on how these above posts can be very misleading to innocent ones that are not aware these things. If all Peugeot 406 produced by Peugeot in all their plants all over the world had 70 litre fuel tank, from 1995 the production started till the last one produced, how come your own Peugeot 406 has 100 litre fuel tank which you claimed? Because if you are saying it takes about N9,500 to fill up your Fox fuel tank, it means the fuel tank must be about 100 litres size tank? You claimed your Fox consumes fuel heavily, did you bother to tell the current state of your fox? Did you abuse the lion by removing the cooling system thermostat? Did you abuse the lion by bypassing the factory radiator fan connection by connecting it to spin constantly with ignition on or engine running? Is there any ignition, injection or emission system component(s) that has failed that you ignored to replace as long as the car still moves? Is your fox still running on factory recommended tyre sizes or wheels? So to you, the Peugeot 406 must run and consume as factory designed no matter how much you abuse him? My Peugeot 406 V6 takes about 20 litres of fuel from Abuja to Kaduna which is about 220 kilometres. The same Lion covers 500 kilometres from Abuja to Enugu on about 45 litres. With AC constantly on. How come yours, probably a 4-cylinder, consume that much? What is wrong with the picture? You also said you don't like Peugeot 406 because its heavier on the road, meaning you prefer other cars you have because they are lighter on the road, probably when on high speed. Funny enough, anyone into cars will tell you the car heavier on the road, especially on high-speed is preferable. Really, what is wrong with the picture? Someone called me this morning from Nairaland, to inquire about Peugeot 607, after he read what I posted on this thread and other threads and I told him something which I repeat here. For those who are Christians, you are taught that Satan or Devil uses what its called "Fear" to intimidate you or discourage you from being happy or going for a good life you desire. Every subject has two subjects, negative and positive subjects. Its left for you to choose which of the two subjects of the subject to pay attention to. Because that Satan or Devil you believe that exist uses Fear to get to you, if you give him/it that attention. But this is what I believe in. The Universe delivers to you what you really want, focus or pay attention to. If you focus on positive side/subject of your desire, it will deliver it to you in that positive manner through people, events or circumstances. However, Universe is going to test you most times, to know how strong you really want that want/subject you desire, which the world called "Temptation", by using People, events or circumstances to test you, which is what is going on in this thread. Yes, so when people are trying, using all kind of negative subjects or what they call "facts" to discourage you from that desire/subject you want, know where its coming from or what is going on. You have a choice to give them attention by losing your faith in the belief of yourself or you overcome that force which some call overcoming Satan Temptation. The guy spent about 30 minutes on the phone, asking questions on how he could own and enjoy a Peugeot 607. At the end, before the call dropped, he said "So its really that easy and problem-free to own and enjoy Peugeot 607 and he didn't know". Awareness! That's all it is. But you only become aware when you choose that positive subject of the Peugeot 607 subject, that then the awareness will come to you. Positivity and negativity don't go together. You have to choose one and the other fades away. People that are enjoying their Peugeot 406 are doing so because they are paying attention to one subject of the subject that serves them: How to enjoy owning Peugeot 406. While those not enjoying theirs are busy seeking for the negative subjects from source their vibrations matched with in same frequency. There are all sorts of information on Peugeot cars online. The side you choose to pay attention to will continue to be your reality, because that's the law you cannot change. You will always get what you are, what you give out or what you seek. Because that's your wish, your prayer and your faith. Ikenna, The Lion King. |

kingreign:While you have every right to hate Peugeot cars as strong as you just displayed in this thread, I am good with that and strongly bless you for that too. Because you are helping me give out all the knowledge on Peugeot systems downloaded inside me to people who really need them. You know why? About 5 persons contacted me, after reading my posts in this threads, asking for my assistance to help them in sourcing for Peugeot cars in good conditions for purchase. In fact, 2 persons begged me and succeeded in allowing them to bring their 307s tomorrow just to renew their coolant in their Lions and reinstall thermostat, accepting to pay whatever high price I charge them. You really don't get it, do you? I have about 2 thousand Lion owners contacts, owners from all over the world. About a thousand of them are Nigerians and about 300 of them are members of The Lion Community I founded. They contacted me, asking to be part of my Peugeot world, I didn't contact them. Even the North Americans in the lion community contacted me on the phone to be part of my creation, not the other way round. Do you really get it? Peugeot headquarters at Paris knows my existence, they have written to me and even called. likewise PAN management have met with me on several occasions. I hope you get it now, right? You said I was showing off as King of Peugeot in your earlier post, and I am now telling you with strong pride, Yes! I am the Lion King! There is nothing you can do about it? Why? Because I flow in Peugeot and Peugeot flows in me. Peugeot owners in all fields of Engineering come to me to at least tap some downloaded knowledge in me I have on Peugeot systems, even when I have no background in Science, yet I am teaching them their field. That's how good I am. So when I say any Peugeot is like this or that, you either hate me for that, hate Peugeot brand because of me or fell in love with Peugeots. Now, let me tell you what you are doing to you, not Peugeot brand you are spewing your hatred on, but YOU yourself. You claim you have an automobile workshop in Abuja. Currently, Peugeot cars have increased more than other brands on Abuja roads and increasing on daily basis, both new and used ones. Most people that visit Nairaland Car-Talk live in Abuja. Most of them also own these Peugeot cars you are busy showing off yourself on in such a negative manner. You are busy telling them that you know nothing about Peugeot systems, the Lions they are supposed to bring to you for servicing, diagnosis or repairs when arise. You are telling them Peugeot cars are nightmares to own, meaning, whatever issue their lions are having, there is no point bringing them to you since you believe they are supposed to become that bad, meaning you have no solution or nothing good to offer them. You are busy telling them Peugeot sucks. Let me ask you, so you think someone that drives a Peugeot in Abuja, after reading your strong hatred and position on the brand here will be comfortable or have the confidence to bring his or her Lion to you? Really? This is what happens to those that seek for peoples validation or approval. You have members that are cheering you up for all you have been saying, yet you forgot what YOU are doing to YOU, your automobile business, as you continue to please them. Rather than seek for knowledge or understanding of these Lions systems to help you in your business, you are busy repelling prosperity. Well, I love this Powerful Law of Attraction because its so perfect. You get what you are, you receive back what you give out, etc. The more you hate someone or something, the more you hate you, not that person or thing. Luckily I love how that Law is giving me what I give out. These days I don't bother to argue or try to convince anyone on anything, since what matter to me are "I know Who I am, I know my self worth and self value, I know what I love and want", and that's all that matters to me. Another thing is irrelevant. Peugeot 406 owners who don't abuse their Lions are happy, considering number of them I personally know or have met. However, you have right to remain in your mission here. My last post on this thread. Ikenna, The Lion King. |
Ikenna351:Answers: 1. Pre-facelift is D8 (1995-1998), while facelift is D9 (1999-2004). In few countires, D9 production continued till 2008, except in Europe. 2. Peugeot 406 with VAN-bus have more wires, while the ones with CAN-bus have less wires. The VAN-bus BSM has more fuses, while the CAN-bus BSM has less fuses. 3. Peugeot 406 produced from 1999 to 2001 have VAN-bus. While 2002 - upward have CAN-Bus. However, not all 2002 seems to have the CAN-bus, the especially the early 2002. 4. When you leave key in ignition switch in CAN-bus Peugeot 406 and open drivers door (with ignition off), the MFD will display a warning with continous beeps "KEY REMINDER", WHILE VAN-bus will give only beep sounds. 5. When driving a Peugeot 406 over an hour and suddenly MFD and instrument panel starts warning you engine is overheating, the easiest way to know if the engine cooling system thermostat is the cause is to touch the lower radiator hose. If it feels cold, then the thermostat has failed by permanently staying closed. If hot or both upper and radiator hoses felt hot, then the themostat is still intact. Howerver, in some EW10J4 engines in Peugeot 406, their coolant flow work in reverse order. In that case, the upper hose will feel cold when thermostat fails given same condition. 6. If while trying to abuse Peugeot 406 factory radiator fan connection at relay box and you bridge those tiny wires on those sockets with 12+ power supply or even the ground, it will damage the engine ECU, since engine ECU triggers the Fan directly, aside Air conditioning ECU/BSI unit that does similar work. 7. D9 have 2 speed level of the radiator fan. However, on severe high ambient temperature, the emergency speed 3 will run for awhile (rarely happens and not standard). 8. Radiator fan(s) in Peugeot 406 is triggered between 95-100 degree celsius. Standard is 97 C. 9. Early ES engine (ES9J4) in Peugeot 406 has 3 CTS, while late one, ES9J4S, has one. 10. In ES9J4, the green CTS signals to engine ECU the coolant temperature, the blue CTS controls the Coolant temperature gauge on Instrument panel, while the Maroon CTS controls the radiator fan. As for the ES9J4S, the only CTS on it, green, does all the fumctions mentioned in ES9J4. 11. EW7J4 & EW10J4 in Peugeot 406 have Mechanical Throttle Body, while the same engines in Peugeot 407 have Motorised Throttle Body (MTB). All EW engines in Peugeot 406 (EW7J4, EW10J4, EW10D & EW12J4) have mechanical PAS pump on the engines, while they have PAS pump off the engines in Peugeot 407 (electrically driven). However, Peugeot 407s also have EW7A & EW10A which Peugeot 406 don't have. 12. BSM in Peugeot 406 is the Engine compartment fuse box that powers various electrical components in engine bay, etc. 13. The BSM in Peugeot 406 with VAN-bus system and pre-facelift 607 are the same. However, some fuses of BSM in Peugeot 406 are not been used, which are used in Peugeot 607 pre-faclift. 14. The ES9J4 spark plugs are centrally controlled by ignition coil, while ES9J4S has 6 individual ignition coils. ES9J4 has IAC, while ES9J4S has none. ES9J4 has Mechanical Throttle Body, while ES9J4S has MTB, etc. 16. All D8 don't have downstream oxygen sensors (Euro III emission system). All D9 with RFR on their VINs also don't have the downstream sensors. 17. The 6th, 7th & 8th digits on Peugeot 406 VINs tells you the engine in the lion. example is RFN (EW10J4), LFY (XU7JP4), XFX (ES9J4S), etc. 18. Bosch ME7.4.6 19. All are interference engines (XU, EW & ES). 20. AL4, ZF HP20 & ZF 4HP20. AL4 are mounted on Peugeot 406 with 4-cylinder petrol engines, HP20 is attached to ES9J4, while 4HP20 is attached to ES9J4S. 21. 205/55 R16 W rating. 22. Sagem. Equivalent/alternative brand is Delphi. 23. 2 different front brake disc sizes and only one rear brake disc size. 2 different sizes of front brake pads and one rear brake pad size. 24. VAN-bus has one button, while CAN-bus has 2 buttons. 25. Datawire is for VAN-bus, while databwire is for CAN-bus. * 24 questions (15 was omitted). Ikenna, The Lion King. |
kingreign:In otherwords, you dont know the answers to those 25 questions. The rest of what you stated in the above post simply showed how what you posted earlier in this thread on Peugeot 406 is either out of hatred for Peugeot cars, going with the crowd or both. However, I will give you the answers. But next time, you will have to pay some fees before i educate you on Peugeot car systems. Ikenna, The Lion King. |
