EagleScribes:Lol! You can contact GAZZUZZ, since he stays in Lagos. I stay in Abuja. Ikenna |
karaye:Peugeot 408 was specifically produced and targeted at Asian markets. Wouldn't know if any was sold in Europe, Australia and South America, aside Africa (and Middle East ) Ikenna |
chyka2011:Vibration at take off in manual tranny Lion is usually caused by failing clutch pressure plate or flywheel. Your 307 has 3 engine mounts. 2 mounts at auxiliary belt side (upper and lower), and 1 at gearbox side. Ikenna |
laprem90:I would prefer to see the scan result , rather than what they said. Ikenna |
Peugeot cars are one of the best European cars you can ever have. They are not just friendly, reliable, durable and fun to drive, but posses a particular attitude that leaves one behind their wheels smiling. And most importantly, they eat miles. All you need is face their noses anywhere and they bring you back, wishing for more adventures to take. But to enjoy the good life they give out to the owners, you must love them. When you love something, you respect it. When you respect something, you care for it and protect it. When you care for something and protect it, you will not abuse it. That's all you need to pull a Lion, never look back and forever be grateful. Ikenna |
DuchessLily:My brother lives in Lagos, drives stick car and he loves it. He plans to add another stick car. Learning how to truly drive a manual car is all people need to do rather than complain. And it starts with seat adjustment or sitting position. And how long you depress and hold clutch pedal down and how you release the clutch pedal. How long one has driven a stick car doesn't make one good in driving stick cars. Its knowing how to truly drive one. That's why some would drive stick cars for years or hundred thousands of mileage without having failed clutches, while some replace their clutches every other day. Ikenna |
deathwing:Don't repel prosperity and good life by questioning rationale behind being prosperous. Owing a vehicle is prosperity in action, because its a change of level. Whether the person chooses to be grateful for the prosperity that's coming to him/her to attract more good life or not is left for him/her. Prosperity constantly flows in ones life when he or she wishes it to him/herself and appreciate them as they come and not analyze , repel or become ungrateful when Universe or God brings them to their attention. Having a vehicle is a good life. If you see it as one, it becomes one to you. If you see a vehicle as a liability, it becomes your reality as well, that is, a liability. What you wished for or your interpretation of good life are your prayers, because what you give out is what you receive back. Seeing a vehicle as liability will draw more circumstances that will make you struggle and spend all you have to keep the car on the road, while one that appreciates and see it as good life will continue to get more circumstances that will bring in more and continue been elevated financially and others. That's why some struggle to have and keep only 1 car on the road, while some keep getting more and more vehicles as more good life flows into their lives. What you interpret a vehicle as becomes your reality, because that's your prayer or wish. Ikenna |

Good morning everyone. I just want to appreciate everyone that my write up here on Peugeot 607 has added value to. At least, about 10 persons have contacted me after reading going through the thread. About 3 of them purchased Peugeot 607 after reading the thread and have been enjoying them. About 4 found my explanations helpful, used them and got their Peugeot 607s back in good shape as designed, while the rest are hunting for 607s. I am not just talling about Nigerians, even non Nigerians from other parts of the planet Earth. I am glad my explanations of Peugeot 607 systems made sense and added values to some people, even those very far away. Thank you all, for I am grateful for your commendations and encouragement. I will continue to educate people that wish to have and enjoy good lives, how best to run their Peugeot cars. Ikenna |
Tekus:If what you have in engine bay is XU engine, I would suggest you bring out the Stepper motor, clean with carb cleaner, lubricate the valve inside, remount it and reinitialise the ECU with it. Ikenna |
gabng:AM6 is a 6-speed auto transmission with Porshe tiptronic. It was produced by Aisin, a Japanese company. One of the best auto transmission ever mounted in Peugeot auto cars. Ikenna |
gabng:I have driven one, I mean the particular one you quoted. A turbocharged 2.0 HDI. It was fantastic! The AM6 box attached made it fun to drive. Ikenna |
anthonyacey:307cc, a nice looking Peugeot. The petrol engines are mostly EWs. Go for it. Ikenna |
pure2012soul:Find and scan the Lion with PP2000. Ikenna |
Bossforeva:My Peugeot 607 V6 phase II is serving me well and I love the car too. I am very grateful for having these wonderful Peugeot cars that keep smile on my face permanently. Ikenna |
glamor:. Anything is possible. It depends on the dept of your believes/faith on your desires. I am a living testimony. Ikenna |
This is my baby, Peugeot 505 V6 5-speed manual, 1986 production. Picture was taken recently. I am the only guy that drives a V6 505 in Abuja city, and a clean one. The gaze I get from people while driving past is thrilling, with my windows up. I love that Lion! Ikenna

Still available. Good afternoon. Ikenna |
Most Nigerian Peugeot owners are not finding it funny when their oxygen sensors fail and not getting a good replacement that works, hence, their fuel consumption keep going high and check engine lights stay on. Rejoice, for you can get a brand new Bosch upstream oxygen sensor and downstream oxygen sensors for your Peugeot cars. I have personally tested and confirmed the working of the sensor on lions. The sensor is for Peugeot 206, 306, 307, 406, 407, 607, 806, 807, etc, with petrol engines. The upstream oxygen sensor has green connector and it controls fuel consumption. If faulty, will increase fuel consumption very high. The downstream sensor has blue connector. The sensor monitors the catalytic converter and would make a Peugeot car run sluggish when its faulty. Price: N10,000.00 each. Warranty: 30 days. To buy, contact me ikenna351@gmail.com Ikenna

vicbussi:Then I would suggest one with EW12 (Inline-4 cylinder) engine that comes with optional ZF HP20 4-speed auto tran or a 407 with ES9A (V6) engine that comes with Aisin AM6 6-speed auto transmission. Ikenna |
vicbussi:I will talk only on Peugeot 407. How high the power are you interested in? What transmission type are you interested? Good morning. Ikenna |
Unionised:Let me put it in a simple way you would understand, start planning buying another or replacing the newly purchased tokunbo engine you mounted, for this singular act of removing the thermostat, if you keep running that engine with that abuse. The sooner you get that thermostat back in, the happier in future you become. As for telling Toyota company that you knew better than all their engineers that ever existed in that company by bypassing the factory fan connections of that vehicle, you reap what you sow! Ikenna |
Alisha4U:You can contact GAZZUZZ since he stays in Lagos as well. If you were in Abuja, I would have asked you to bring the Lion for me to diagnose and fix the lion for you. Just relax, it's going to be alright. Ikenna |
Alisha4U:Where do you stay? Ikenna |
Ricmayak1:Focus on designing electric/hybrid vehicles is on fuel economy, not necessarily power or quicker/faster. What makes a vehicle quicker or faster is the design, not how light. A lot of factors, including aerodynamics, is considered when designing a quick car. And I hope you know being in a very light car on high speed doesn't make it safe, unless the car was designed for speed. Ikenna |
