omenkaLives:If you are an academic, you will understand the falsehood vomited in that your last paragraph. |
Nawa ooo. Me sef de wonder why haven't doctors and nurses visited him. Why haven't secondary and university students visited him. Why haven't people that are sixteen years old visited him. Mechanics sef neva visit am. My bro till every human being visit am, we go find something more to say |
Biafra war fought 50 years ago and people are still hellbent on rewriting the history, or projecting propaganda that favours them. Why was Ojukwu not favourable to the use of land for conveying the aids? Why did Nigeria Government not agree to ceasefire for the aids to be conveyed through land? Since the life of the kids were paramount, why was the aid blockade effected in the first instance, before an outcry made the world see otherwise? Basket of blames will go round. Some people here even celebrate the strategy to use starvation as means of war, beating their chest that it was the most beautiful strategy Awolowo gave out to win. Goldstein made some points, but his points were negated by the fact that he didn't realise how far Nigeria wanted to go in extermination of the Biafrans. Food poisoning was a minute problem to them, that was why Ojukwu wanted a ceasefire so that the food aids will easily be examined on port of loading by Biafra representatives. Nobody eats from the hand of he who wants you dead. |
FriendNG:Lolzzz this your boasting has passed chest beating, mister Owner, kindly don't give your self heartbreak. Funny people. You own life and air too |
Greatness has its weaknesses and strength. The Igbos accepted him both in his strength and weakness. It's funny how people Ojukwu's life has no direct impact on castigate him. Envy is really, unhappy admiration, as defined by the philosopher Kierkegaard. Most people envy what they can never achieve in life. |
Due to the complacency of the police force towards the action of this group, we may have to believe that some of their members are in the police force, or the police are under their payroll. How can such be treated with kid's gloves? |
Nice respectable thread. If most humans here can communicate like this, with maturity, understanding and respect, this forum wouldn't have lost her respect. When an Igbo man thinks about Nigeria objectively and subjectively as it pertains to the politics and politicians in Nigeria, you will come to agreement that Nigeria is heading nowhere. For long I have voiced and propagated reasons for a better Nigeria, but I started asking myself questions that has to do with patriotism. I came to realise that we have the most unpatriotic breed of leaders. How can a country go forward when all the leaders think of is their personal common goal? Biafra resurrection is the next option for people that have seen far. A call for people that have realised that the status quo is no more attainable. In life choice matters, and many Igbos have made a new choice. Coming to assimilation, I believe the question of a group being a minority should be eschewed from the table. Where you come from should not matter, rather your input. |
The executive arm of the government is indirectly involved in the Fulani Herdsmen attack going on. Their silent support is too obvious. So let the legislature question them, if they seriously want it to stop. |
NubiLove:I know, I am also aware of the desertification issue. They have MASSIVE land mass laying waste. If they invest not even upto a quarter of the money they waste in frivolities into soil engineering, their land will become the envy of Nigerians. Their Land mass is an untapped agricultural advantage, they use it only for political advantage while their people die in ignorance. Just do small research on Israeli agricultural researches, you will realise that the Fulani Herdsmen have no reason to invade other people's land |
Northern states have the potential of being the most fertile land in Nigeria, but their government lack foresight. It is just a matter of soil re-engineering. They can take a clue from Israel, if you know how that land was as far back as 30's, you will marvel at it today. That aside, Northern Government has the solution to the marauding Fulani Herdsmen, but it seems they are using them for some secret sinister reasons. It must surely backfire. |
davodyguy:Wow e don reach this level of childishness? Cyriacus must be the cause of everything bad happening in Lagos. How dare him dent the holiness and sanctity of Lagos state? He must have paid all those people doing the evil in that forest, heck he was the one that created the forest and put all those criminals there so that he will have something to write about. Davodguy, hope you are happy now? |
Funny human being. Tell us more, your fable is not catastrophic enough. Lolzzz imagine story, "IPOB" is seriously attacking you o. |
vagabondMynd44:Wow I like the way you lie. Although a stupid person can't be convinced of any seriousness of your lies. Tell us more lies, uncle. People should read Frederick Forsyth's book on Biafra to get an unadulterated perspective of a foreign. Don't forget to tell us of the Nigerian commander of Yoruba descent that on paper told Nigeria soldiers to kill, butcher and exterminate every living thing in Biafra. If MEN were GOD. But alas men will decree and go down before their decrees have a breath of fresh air. |
Woww this is awe-inspiring. I love the unity of purpose. I love the unprecedented publicity. Even if two persons a day that never heard of Biafra get to hear of it every day, it is purely a beautiful thing. It took a boy's action(setting himself on fire before the British congress) to get the world attuned to British and Nigeria Government's war crimes during Biafra War in 1967. From there foreign aids started arriving, albeit, clandestinely. Who knows unprecedented actions these modern day activities will kickstart? Keep the fire burning. Keep the candle lighted. |
aribisala0:You communicate better with those images than when you write. More images less talk, my boy. |
aribisala0:Tag me when you send more of the images so I will save. You are doing a good work, boy. |
aribisala0:I sincerely thank you for those pictures of starved Igbo people during Biafra. It truly convinced me as an Igbo man to know where I am coming from, and in the same stance to know where am heading to as an individual in this country. Please send more am saving them, will build a library with them on my phone. You are doing a good job. Those images will convince Igbo people like us sitting on the fence to join with one voice of our brothers. The suffering and the death of those heroes can never be in vain. Thanks for convincing me strongly. |
fulanimafia:And because the "supposed impression" suits your hate-filled propaganda, let all believe and swallow it. My dear if it makes you happy, who am I to put a clog to your happiness? Who are Ibos? Yet to identify with them. |
omenkaLives:The picture got me thinking real deep too. I wonder what feeds hatred in "supposedly human beings" The bread of 1966 was snapped on a chair of 2017 and a human being brought it out to show the world how deep his hatred is. Atleast let's apply a pint of intelligence on our hatefilled propaganda. Enjoy your night if you can thanks. |
Ok, 90 something billion saved from wiping out of ghost workers and federal civil servants still get owed and in most cases their salaries get cut. You saved the billions into your pocket or for papers? Anyone can reel out sweet well prepared speech, especially politicians, na work for ground matter. Not just work but work that has an impact positively on the common man. Every other thing is oversized BS. |
Of recent, Nwodo is the best thing happening in OHANEZE NDIIGBO. From the moment he took over the government, you can easily see someone with a clear cut positive agenda. Putting the community he governs first. He was able to understand Nigeria polity and politics of leverage. Ya chiba na o di anyi mma. BTW he fully understands IPOB and the nitty-gritty of the Igbo demands. |
It will be a record worthy of celebration when prices of stuffs start to fall in Nigeria. Nothing good lasts long here. Na the size of akpu wey I de buy N60 de vex me pass. You need the best event planner in the East? Am the one. |
They should use the opportunity to ask God to bless and favour them. Stop wasting energy praying for your perceived enemy. U need an event planner in the East? You need me. |
AntiWailer:Don't be frustrated. |
Akuko Mike Ejeagha |
Atimes for a whole day, you will scroll through Nairaland front page and find no topic worthy of any reasonable comment. We have seen the pictures yesterday. Maybe tomorrow the topic that will make front page is, "see upside down pictures of Otobo's lawsuit against Suleiman". |
He lived that we may live. He died that we may have life eternal |
Dangote with his truck has killed more than the Herdsmen and Boko Haram. The difference is that he can strike anywhere and anytime. Why can't Government question and find ways to avert such disasters. |
MaziOmenuko:My dear having or not having the idea, is not yet an issue. The money or the monies in this case, are spread in our newspapers. Past government stole money big time. The present government is competing to steal hers also. Because of this, the common thinking man, will continue to question all actions and inactions of the government and her agency. Peace, am not sorry that I am not saying amen to what I still term, "propaganda". |
4Play:You do get the drift. Now some people are making us believe that we are on recession solely based on the fact that money was looted by the past government. They forget the chameleonlike policies of the government that kept getting everything wrong. To question the actions now means to them that you support corruption. Everyone can't be, "O yes member". |
MaziOmenuko:Didn't realise you were a kindergarten pupil. As I said earlier, my aim is to question. And question I did. If my questioning the actions makes bile rise upto you or anyone's mouth. I am not sorry about that. By the way, intelligence is not gotten by nodding of head, question your "purported knowledge". My question still remains, what if EFCC is putting on a show? Don't blow up your gasket. |
