On Obi we stand in PDP
On Ebele Jonathan we stand in APC Ineptitude Jona cannot win the APC ticket, and he knows that. Reason he would prefer the ticket to be given to him on a platter of gold. Obi too cannot win the PDP ticket. Orji Kalu is very reasonable here, you guys are just castigating him for no reason. Until SE starts working with other regions, they will remain a silo. Obi doesn't have enough time to bridge that gap with other ethnicity. Only way to have Igbo aspirants on the 2 major platforms is if the tickets are given to them. So Kalu is right. |

I want to believe you were a kid in 1999 that you didn't witness the election else you would have remembered Obasanjo, obasanjo, obasanjo, Ekwueme, Obasanjo etc. when they were counting the votes. SE voted for PDP and not because of OBJ. Even if a goat becomes the PDP aspirant today, SE will still vote for PDP. VULCAN: Out of the over one million Nigerians on Nairaland...
You are by far the most delusional.
A woman who obtained a fake NYSC discharge certificate despite the fact that she was unqualified for one is who you are praising.
A woman who oversaw the drop in Naira value from N180 to a dollar to N350 to a dollar- the greatest loss of value in the shortest possible time.
NOI remains the greatest Finance Minister we have ever had for a plethora of reasons. A major one being she worked to wipe away Nigeria's $40 billion debt.
NOI's greatness can be confirmed in what she is today while Kemi's ordinariness can be confirmed in what she is doing today.
Anyway, no surprises about your support for Kemi as you are an APC urchin. Paid a monthly stipend to tell lies which you guys started in 2014 and you still continue today. What's wrong with you guys with your tribal sentiments? Naira will always fall as long as there is a high demand for dollars. You can as well say Abacha's regime was better than any democracy because dollars was around 4-10. There has been a gradual collapse since Babangida. Dollar was about $20 when OBJ took over, so tell me how much it was when OBJ left, possibly $100, is Iweala to be blame for that? Naira will continue to fall until we go to the fundamental and start producing goods, build factories, create goods that are needed in Naija and abroad so there will be influx of dollars and less demand for it since there will be a reduction in import. But as long as we are still importing tooth pick, pencil and everything we use in naija, the demand for $ will be high and our naira will depreciate, and the depreciation will be accelerated with any disruption in dollar inflow. It doesn't matter whether Obi, PYO, BAT etc is charge, until we do the necessary. The crash in Naira was more pronounced during Buhari because of the crash in oil and gas price in 2015, went down to $30/bbl. Average of $100/bbl during Jonathan. Jonathan too was wasteful, he disnt bother to save for bad days. Oil is our major source of forex, if anything happen to oil production, una go hear am. While Iweala wiped out of debt during OBJ. She (maybe I should blame Jonathan for this) wasteful during Jonathan. We started borrowing, oil price was at his peak, there was no savings. Perhaps, the president has a final say in every decision. That being said, Kemi also performed credibly well foe the little time she was in charge. Oil was $30/bbl for God sake. Was even thinking naira will fall to 1000/$. Sentiment aside, give kudos to people when they do well. |

ValCon888: Most likely carbon monoxide poisoning. They couldn't fûck with the windows open. So the man shut all the windows and switched on the AC.
And that was the beginning of the end.
Edit: Let me break it down for those who don't understand.
The SUV's engine produces a lot of toxic gases which flows through the vehicle's exhaust system.
The most common way of carbon monoxide poisoning is when the car’s AC is on and it is parked in a garage or a space with limited airflow.
The SUV’s AC intake pulls in the air which now mixes with the exhaust gases.
The carbon monoxide is odourless, so it goes undetected and slowly kills the occupants of the car. Keyword is parked in a confined place, hence the gas from the exhaust pipe can't escape, at a while it will find a way into the car whether ac is on or off, whether window is up or down. Most of the times we sleep in the car with the ac on while in work location in a remote area. In this case, the car was outside, hence, you theory of carbomonoxide doesn't apply. This could be a murder. Police should investigate instead of arrive at a conclusion. |

You should know that woman unlike men are love machine. They have the heart of love and as such are vulnerable to scammers men. Don't blame them much for following their heart out of pure love. Rather it's the stupid man that should be blame bc he took advantage of her innocency. In case like this, if the law got involved, it's the man that will be guilty. That's criminal to take someone daughter without the knowledge of the family Who says African woman don't toast man? She was an adult. Was the girl forced to agree to the guy advancement? Bride price is a curural thing, in some culture it is the woman that pays groom price. My point is that nothing is set in stone. Because those before us believed the norm is to pay price doesn't mean we can't change it. Any girl of 18 yrs can decide for herself. There is no law that says you must pay a dowry before you can impregnate someone or be impregnated by someone. There is no law that stipulated that you have to pay or collect dowry before having sex with someone's daughter or son. There is no law that says you must marry someone that you impregnate or marry someone that impregnated you whether alive or dead. So he will NOT be guilt in a court of law. |

Let the authority (through a lawyer) be aware, bury the girl (after a reasonable notification given to the family) out of respect for her. If you know what I'm going through in thier hands, you'll feel sorry for me. I've spent over 2m+ so far and we're still dragging issues in court. And this is even though DNA had proven the kid isn't mine.
Those people behave like robots. They won't listen to you unless you take decisive action against them.
All your talk of borrowing money to treat her is all talk. They don't care unless you do what they want. In my case, her mom even collected my receipts from her and claiming she paid. This is even though her elder bro knows I paid.
Your only solution is to seek legal advise and drag them to court. You own the kid.
And if the court gives you the kid, cut all access to them. He must not know their language or even bear their name.
Like you, they warned me too and I didnt listen. Those Urhobo/Isoko people should only marry themselves.
Despite two DNA, they're still trying to insist the kid is mine. Na you dey give them attention. Just ignore and move on with your life. |

Who else was supposed to take care of her in his house? You? If she were to be in her parents' house, they would have been taking care of her there.
You are talking from the standpoint of a man and a "Nigerian girl". If you were looking at it from the point of view that she's your daughter, your response would be different.
It's not my mindset that is the topic here. The people whose daughter/sister he camped in her house are the ones you should direct your anger to. One thing is for sure...he's playing with his son's relationship with him. "He took someone's daughter...". Was she kidnapped? Was she forced to move in with him? Was she rapped? He failed mention that part. I support Osinbajo but this recent attitude of brushing Tinubu aside is absolutely nonsense. He was someone before and after Tinubu. It is because he was good in his profession that Tinubu hired/contracted him to work for him. Before Tinubu, he worked for Bola Ige. So Tinubu didn't make him. Of anything PYO made himself, he was so good that OBJ wanted to hijack from Lagos state and make him the AG of the federation. He told BAT about it, and BAT asked to decide what he wants. He chose to be loyal to BAT. So it was a mutual beneficial relationship. |

Osinbajo should stop deceiving himself... He should stop telling us the experience he has.... He should tell us that experience that he has....
We need to know what he's coming to offer, it will help him to win the primaries... Tinubu wanted himself as VP. Buhari rejected, infact they fought because Tinubu was mad. They had less than 48 hours to choose a running mate. Buhari called Amosun to intimidate him on what just happened. He assured Buhari he would find a solution. Buhari told him categorically he doesn't want BAT because of muslim-muslim. But BAT can choose the the VP. Amosun went to BAT, Aregbe and one other party member was there, BAT suggested Fashola or so and oyinlola while Aregbe suggested PYO. Fash doesn't cut it because he's a Muslim, now left with the other two. BAT choose Bisi while Aregbe insisted on PYO. BAT disagreed (rumor has it that PYO kicked against muslim-muslim ticket during Lagos APC inner caucus meeting, BAT held that against him. When Amosun showed Buhari the list, Buhari chose PYO, being a Christian might have helped. BAT had no choice but to agree. Moreover it was Bola Ige that first appointed PYO. So it was his hardwork that have him recognition not BAT. OBJ wanted to hijack him, but decided to stick with BAT. He fought OBJ govt on behalf Lagos state and won, also won several cases for BAT. BAT might have been part of his journey. With or without BAT, he would have gotten to where he's destined to be. |
