Orji Kalu is very reasonable here, you guys are just castigating him for no reason. Until SE starts working with other regions, they will remain a silo. Obi doesn't have enough time to bridge that gap with other ethnicity. Only way to have Igbo aspirants on the 2 major platforms is if the tickets are given to them. So Kalu is right.

Nothing will happen! It is election and not selection. It is not given on a platter of gold. Organize yourself into a voting unit, work with other ethnic groups to increase your chances. Me against the world will not take you anywhere. If Obi or any Igbo wins on the election day, I don't think anyone will deny the person. For now, focus on winning the primary first. You can as well say Abacha's regime was better than any democracy because dollars was around 4-10. There has been a gradual collapse since Babangida. Dollar was about $20 when OBJ took over, so tell me how much it was when OBJ left, possibly $100, is Iweala to be blame for that? Naira will continue to fall until we go to the fundamental and start producing goods, build factories, create goods that are needed in Naija and abroad so there will be influx of dollars and less demand for it since there will be a reduction in import. But as long as we are still importing tooth pick, pencil and everything we use in naija, the demand for $ will be high and our naira will depreciate, and the depreciation will be accelerated with any disruption in dollar inflow. It doesn't matter whether Obi, PYO, BAT etc is charge, until we do the necessary.

The crash in Naira was more pronounced during Buhari because of the crash in oil and gas price in 2015, went down to $30/bbl. Average of $100/bbl during Jonathan. This could be a murder. Police should investigate instead of arrive at a conclusion.

Fash doesn't cut it because he's a Muslim, now left with the other two. BAT choose Bisi while Aregbe insisted on PYO. BAT disagreed (rumor has it that PYO kicked against muslim-muslim ticket during Lagos APC inner caucus meeting, BAT held that against him. When Amosun showed Buhari the list, Buhari chose PYO, being a Christian might have helped. BAT had no choice but to agree. Moreover it was Bola Ige that first appointed PYO. So it was his hardwork that have him recognition not BAT. OBJ wanted to hijack him, but decided to stick with BAT. He fought OBJ govt on behalf Lagos state and won, also won several cases for BAT. BAT might have been part of his journey. With or without BAT, he would have gotten to where he's destined to be.

On a second thought, it could be Atiku sponsoring these people...after all BAT donated 1b naira to Lasu. Atiku can afford to sponsor 10 people because he is the other money bag in this election. Those "sponsored" people will weaken BAT and PYO votes thereby improving SE candidates and Amaechi's chances. Atiku will rather take his chance against any APC candidate from SE and SS than facing BAT or PYO. (Note: just a thought)

Tinubu doesn't have Ondo. His candidate, Abraham, lost the governorship election. If anything Ondo might go for Osinbajo. Tinubu will get some but it will be minimal.
