Jonathan should remove the leash he has on the army let them run over the affected town/state like they did in Benue, Bayelsa, Liberia, Sierra-Leon etc. Arewa should cry all the want. Did anyone notice there was no attack when the soldiers were allowed to do their job and Arewa were crying about innocent civilians being killed. The president should let the army do their job. Yes, there will be collateral damage but the locals should know the consequence since they've decided to sympathise with and protect the islamic sect members.

na so I hear ooooooo!
Rochas is a Plateau man to the core. He went through hell before arriving where he is today. I heard he pushed Omolanke/Wheelbarrow when he was in Barkin-Ladi. If you ask an elderly person within the business community in Jos, They'll tell you he had a very very humble beginning plus he is a crazy giver, they guy dey help people like say him be God. lol. How he got rich? What everyone said back then is that he was nice to and helped one or two military men who then helped him get contracts. They said he got more because he was honest and straight forward.

fellis: You are a despicable person samkoro. You keep pasting these lies you copied off some anti-Islamic site without even bothering to verify if the things said about Muslims are true.
Some foolish Nairaland Christians have also decided to 'like' the lies you posted without bothering to find out for themselves or to use their block heads.
You people disgust me.
You did not deny what he said. you are just ranting. You people always implore non muslims not to take the words in the quran literally but you follow the jihadist instructions right to the letter.

edicolove: I don't think Beaf or anyone has ever advocated you don't question the president. There is a big difference between questioning and being insulting, partisan, tribal and trying to bring him down. You have a right to question the president and as a good citizen, you should. But coming on a public forum to insult his person and tribe is not the same thing as questioning or demanding good governance. If you look back, you would even notice this trend started from the day he won the 2011 election so it had nothing to do with his performance. It was purely hatred and the quest for power.

PoliticsRe: Condemn Boko-Haram, Clark Dares IBB, Buhari by IleIfe2(m): 11:05am On Aug 02, 2012
Buhari Condemns Nigeria post-election violence

he Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) noted with concern the ongoing violent reaction on the announced results from the collation exercise currently in progress at Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). The CPC has throughout its campaign preached to its supporters to eschew violence. In the circumstance we therefore, call on all our supporters to remain calm and non-violent and prepare themselves for the next round of elections on Tuesday, April 26, 2011.

CONGRESS FOR PROGRESSIVE CHANGE (CPC) MOTTO: EQUITY, PEACE AND PROSPERITY

STATEMENT BY THE CPC

1. The Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) noted with concern the ongoing violent reaction on the announced results from the collation exercise currently in progress at Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

2. While appreciating the inalienable right of Nigerians in a democratic system to express their feelings in a protest against injustice, they
must never the less remain non-violent.

3. The CPC abhors violence by all Nigerians in the course of expressing grievances

4. The CPC has throughout its campaign preached to its supporters to eschew violence. In the circumstance we therefore, call on all our supporters to remain calm and non-violent and prepare themselves for the next round of elections on Tuesday, April 26, 2011.

5. All CPC supporters should come out enmasse on April 26 to vote for the CPC and overthrow those responsible for the evident injustice to our Party and the nation.

6. We also condemn in the strongest term the brutality of the security forces against unarmed protesters and innocent civilians and call on
them to show restraint in handling all situations of civil protest.

7. We call on the federal government to investigate and determine the role of the police and other security forces in the allege shooting of about 100 innocent Nigerians in Kaduna, Kano, Sokoto, Port Harcourt, Owerri and other
places.
These are the subtle call to arms we are talking about. When you tell Almajiris and semi illiterates to come "enmass and overthrow those responsible for the evident injustice to their Party and the nation". you are telling them to take up arms because they think Nigeria starts and end in their respective state of origin. so when their party loses election they want to OVERTHROW.

Buhari said the North was not silent on issues of insecurity as claimed by some people but that the North does not own the police, soldiers or Central Bank.
As long as you try to create a link between suicide bombing, indiscriminate killings and poverty, no sane human will listen to you. Why? There are hungry Nigerians in every corner of the nation.
PoliticsI Know The Sponsors Of BOKO-HARAM by IleIfe2(op): 10:58am On Aug 02, 2012
When and where did President Jonathan say he knows the sponsors of Boko-Haram? because I'm yet to find the publication where the supposed " I know the sponsors of Boko-Haram" speech is. Yes, he said boko-haram has infiltrated the armed forces during the Kabiru Sokoto and Mohammed Biu scandal but i've never hear him either directly or indirect claim to know the sponsors. I've noticed lots of people say The president knows the sponsors but is not acting or making any move to arrest them. So, Please any one with a source/Link should please post and let us all see how the president admitted he knows the sponsors of boko-haram.

PoliticsRe: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala Is An Untruthful Finance Minister? by IleIfe2(m): 12:19pm On Jul 31, 2012
Mallam Dauda Dan Akuya (Onomeasike) You created your account on the 5th of January 2012 and dedicated it to smearing GEJ. Mdn Okonjo and GEJ are doing something right because obviously, people like you are discontented and ranting all over. No matter how bad GEJ is, he is better than anything the north has to give. you wrote Mdn Okonjo said

“Our objective is to achieve both higher budget implementation and better management of the country’s resources”, declared Dr Okonjo-Iweala. “We will not toy with public resources because they belong to all Nigerians”. You have liberated her, since she has decided to thoroughly scrutinize almost every penny being spent.

You wrote the minister of health said "He[minister of health] said rather than allow the existing projects to be completed, the lawmakers would want projects in their name, so as to remain in good standing with the electorate, adding that the Federal Government would prefer that ongoing constituency projects be completed before new ones could be selected." is his statement not true? Why are the law breakers makers all out with guns blazing. Someone is obviously doing something right and they are discontented.

Since Nigeria was created, how has The common man benefited from the budget the way you are putting it. you talked about the housing and urban development ministry's in ability to access it's desired capital allocation. Is Nigeria a welfare state? Do we have a public housing scheme? oh, they just use #49 billion to plant flowers and pay salaries for one year.

gboss4sure: please where can i buy this koran? i need to read it.
it's on the web, with different reviews, interpretations etc. you'll see where the bombs come from, and why you should be uncomfortable around muslims. they follow the throat slicing instruction to the letter.
PoliticsRe: Aregbesola - Jihad Not War Of Hate by IleIfe2(m): 5:56pm On Jul 30, 2012
aribisala0: I am not a muslim but my reading of the quran indicates that Jihad indicates internal struggle what Psychologists may characterize as the struggle of the id and superego is this correct?
Then the Quran the islamist militants read must be from a different publisher. grin and i must say, the violent version out numbers the one you read. (War = Deceit, surprise etc). Out of 10 muslims, you'll find 3 jihadist and 6 sympathisers and one 1 moderate guy is not considered a muslim.
PoliticsRe: Something Is Wrong; Power Is Improving by IleIfe2(m): 4:58pm On Jul 30, 2012
Some critics seem just to be comfortable with things going worse, not better. They express deep hurt at any news of improving society and the energy that they will launch to tell you that it is not real or it is not sustainable is so strong that you start feeling that this whole criticism thing is not about getting us all a better society.

Here are folks telling somebody not to use the improvements he has observed in his environment to judge the government efforts but they are comfortable using the perceived lack of the same thing IN THEIR PROXIMITY to judge the administration. No! this is not about getting us a better society, it is about validating some inner conviction that things can never be better!!! But the bad news is that it does not affect reality at all!!!
Gbayi!!!
There has been an attack on Christianity and the best U can think if is hit back?.
See why these christians really get me worked up. They never sit and ask themselves what would Jesus do?.

So much for that
What you say is true but i beg to differ. The believe in acting in a morally imperative way does not work any more. They call it Jihad "Holy War", and i tell you, they are violently and rigorously fighting it. This is how i see things now. Islamic militants kill and maim Christians because they are Christians, their leaders keep mute, then they pick one or two leaders who try to convince us that their religion is a religion of "peace" and in a subtle way congratulate the killers, then they wait for the next opportunity to strike. After each attack, they try to launder the image of their leaders while defaming leaders from the opposite side.

So when people like you try to figure out what Jesus will do, a good number of us should also be doing the attacking Just like they do.
"Convert to Islam or die Slowly in Penury". Sultan tells Christian Sister

For the past few weeks, there has been an unrelenting attack on Christianity with conspiracy theories, lies and every negative thing that could be used to smear Christianity and its followers. We've seen save Mariam of Indonesia and so many more but one of such publications got on my nerve ("Convert to Christianity or die poor". Bishop Oyedepo tells muslim sister). So i decided to tell the same story from the opposite perception and the story goes like this.

The sultan of Shokoto's half sister, Deaconess Rebecca Maryam Sani Abubakari who has resisted every attempt by the Sultan to convert her to islam is living in abject poverty. The Sultan who seems to appear tolerant can not hide his disdain and hatred for Christians and Christianity. Sultan Mubarak Sani Abubakari has shown his resentment for the Christian faith and it's followers over and over again by his actions and utterances. After one of numerous bomb attacks by his admires and prodigies on a Christian worship centre, he congratulated them by giving them 5 virgins, he promised them more in "Paradise" and called for the unification and cooperation of Nigerian factions. A victim who survived one of the deadly attacks but lost both limbs, one eye and one arm said 'i wish we had a derogatory word like "Kaffir" that we can use on people who are not of our religion'.
Deaconess Rebecca Maryam's business center was recently vandalised by the military wing of the Law council and her only son's throat slit open. She lives in Sabon-Gari area of Kanu (Not Papilo). Left with no child and means of livelihood, the sultan swore never to have anything to do with her unless she converts to islam. Her fellow church members are attacked if the try to talk to or help her. eye witness say she is close to death.
