New Orleans!!!!! |
I bought a 2001 Octavia. I bought this vehicle brand new from Mandilas Motors with the confidence that i will have Volkswagen maintenance back up, but Mandilas Motors changed their brand from Volks to Toyota and hence no service backup for my Octavia again. I have a problem with my engine due to bad roads because the sump kept hitting the ground I have had to work on the oil sump more that 5 times and the sump protector that came with the car was equally damaged. I tried to get to Iyana Itire last year to buy a tokunbo engine but I was not confident that the engine I am buying is not as bad as the one I am replacing. The question I am asking is, is it not possible to buy the engine parts and assemble it in Nigeria? |
Your wife is a good companion. The earlier you get into wedding the cheaper it is. The more you prolong the more expensive it becomes. Take then cue start early, start now! If you are not ready yet let her know your reasons. Have you ever visited her home/parents? God bless you as you embark on this faithful journey. |
get your people or senior friends involved. you can never handle this alone. the girls parents are acting on the stimulus you are generating. you do not sound like a ready husband. are you waiting for her to get to menopause before wedding? you are a born bachelor |
Levies collection by all Community Development Associations in the Federal Republic of Nigeria is very legal under the constitution. The CDA has responsibility for security, sanitation, minor electrical maintenance and road maintenance and other collective actions on behalf of the community and liaising with other government organs. The CDA is expected to drive the local development in the community and to coordinate community self-projects. There are many other quick jobs that could not be left to government through bureaucracy. It is true that your lack of participation at meetings will rob you of information concerning activities of the CDA. The CDA allows instalmental payments, you can always pay in bits or en-bloc. You can dodge Federal and State payments but dodging the CDA is a bit difficult. |
A lot of research has shown that our culture is bad. I got this while listening to Fela's music sometime ago. The government is driven by the system; the system is driven by the people; the people are driven by the culture. If someone in Nigeria lives in a bungalow went out to serve the people and return to the same bungalow he is looked down upon as a fool. We virtually sent out our leaders to go and steal, the more they steal the more they are celebrated. This is very much African. This is why it is very difficult to eradicate corruption from our system. Corruption in Africa is culturally driven!! Anybody who is so much bent in tackling corruption will step on so many traditional rulers and name it. Our society shields people from being punished for corruption! |
i bought my Skoda Octavia brand new 2001 model in December 2001. the mileage has not gone beyond 82,000 kilometers. This was possible because the car has been parked most of the time. My office is just within a bicycle distance from house. It is very wrong to use the mileage to determine the real life of an automobile. The mileage may be one of the factors to but not the final. Despite the fact that my odometer is low the engine has actually packed up and this limits my using it. I kept it with one of my friends he was not aware the sump was leaking and there was no oil inside the engine and that was it! |
Most probably, the kids and the pregnancy does not belong to him. He must have felt that is the best way to even with his cheating wife |
What do you expect from the world bank representative? No single project carried out by the world bank has benefited the people of Nigeria. The way the contracts are structured makes it completely difficult to achieve any tangible result and it creates room for corruption. Only one man does the vetting. Do we need the world bank? I will say no. The reason being that the current world bank is not created to serve the interest of any developing economy. China never waited for world bank, in fact world bank predicted that chinese economy will collapse, now see what is happening! I do not need any world bank representative to come and tell me the state of doing business in Nigeria in fact I blame those that ventured to grant these obnoxious people audience. Changing the country and improving the infrastructure is a matter of our attitude as a people. |
The truth is that Ekiti State has been under the siege of armed robbers recently and it looks like the local police is helpless. The move by the governor is to complement the effective policing of the state. The joint patrol was used in Lagos and there is army buffer to rely on in case of extremes. The Nigerian police like all police everywhere in the world has there own peculiarities. They can not handle extremes like the navy seal. It is quite an oversight that there is no military presence in the whole of Ekitiland! Banks have had to close for days to the public just for fear of being attacked! A boost in the security level will surely improve the states economy and subsequently the welfare of the people. More people more business. |
Go to the bank and tell them how bad you feel. Most loans that are tied to your emoluments or salary being paid into your account does not enjoy confidentiality. The bank relied on the contract between you and your employer before granting you the facility. Most times your employers demand for your status with the bank and they are entitled to the information for transparency sake. Advice: live your life like a golden fish in an aquarium |
Increase in salary=increase in tax 20% of whatever Fashola pays out comes back as P.A.Y.E. |
Our main problem is waiting for an outsider to come and exploit these resources for us and cart away the money, give some bottles of wine to our leaders and use our natural resources to develop his own people |
The truth was that the poorly maintained danfo broke down in the middle of the poddle and the passengers reacted. The face saving act is to ferry the passengers one by one to the dry part of the road |
Access Bank has a funny attitude when it comes to unethical transactions. I will not like to publish my experience with them but it was not very pleasant. |
I am really disturbed by some of our reactions. It shows that while many NL can boast of being current of international issues many of us are unaware of the current changing trends in Nigerian females behavior. Many of our women has turned tigress with men now at their mercy. There are even tales of some GO' s spouse leading this type of female gender aggressions! The trend has remained unspeakable and there is nothing anybody can do. The scare has made many young men brought up under this type of condition refusing to get married. It is the effect of women liberation that made many of them forget our cultures and tradition. It has come to a stage of an Ibo woman slapping her husband? The whole village must hear this |
Is Abaniwonda one of these group? I learnt he is more powerful than the Vice Chancellor in LASU |
How much is Rev Fr. Bona Alowarandu's income? How does he afford expensive cars and travels to London at will as suggested by Mr. Slap1? Many questions. |
Facebook for real people , Fakebook for fake people , heartbook for lovepeople , fraudbook for fraud people , workbook for businees people etc , just choose your own , lol I agree with you everybody has there own purpose for being there. For me it is an opportunity for fun nothing serious. |
You are welcome to Ikorodu!!!!!!! No hasles. Ikorodu is the capital of Lagos State operating from Ikeja!!! Ha ikorodu Oga!!!!! |
What is happening to you is quite common. it happens to all men that are faithfully glued to one woman. When a man has variety, he can never know when a woman is not in the mood!!! I am now married for thirty years 2009. Women love variety too!! Be real and be a real man. Your financial position may be the reason behind the repulse. It is cheaper for you to be faithful. Buy something new in the house and you will see changes. Change your bath soap, change your perfume. Change your boxers!!! I wish you all the best |
You can always get a gun licensed in Nigeria legally if you are up to age of forty or you are legally employed or in business. But you are limited to Double Barrel or .22 bird rifles!!! If you are continuously harassed contact your DPO for advice. The license is renewed annually. Hand guns are illegal in Nigeria except you are a serving law enforcement officer. If you consider the level of ammunition in the hands of criminals in the country. The irony of it is that the ignorant innocent man is at their mercy. Most people who are aware of their rights and are ready to defend it are always protected |
I just read that FIFA is giving Nigeria 24 hours to reverse decision. This coming from FIFA sounds stupid to me, are they the people funding the association? The people are squandering people's money and FIFA is looking the other way. They are using the stolen money to buy their way and perpetuate their stay in office. FIFA is looking silly everyday; looking at the level the decisions taken has gone and the level of corruption within FIFA itself. Who is paying Sepp Blatter? |
Do we have any Q7 in Nigerian auto market? |
This story is a well crafted masterpiece from a very good paid writer, all in the attempt of selling IBB to NL and beyond. We should be careful!!!! |
Why do you need to make people buy some products before employing them? |
