nurabela:
He won't take you home.

. He will not be available at any time of the day, and arrange times when you can call or he will call you.

. He won't introduce you to his family.

. He will arrange days out far away from his home.

. Hotel rooms will become the norm unless you allow him to sleep at yours every night/weekend.

. Ask him to cook you a meal at his place and watch his level of anxiety rise, e.t.c.

You may add your own!
He don't/won't stay the night.
He has a fit if you are the "finger nail" type doing sex.
He must shower/bathe after sex before he leaves.
RomanceRe: Pms And Relationships by Imari(f): 10:00am On Apr 03, 2011
Actually a man CANNOT have "pMs" since men do not have menstrual cycles.

Men do however in scientific terms suffer from something that is called "IMS" (Irritable Male Syndrome) that is also cause by hormones being out of whack, just like with "pms".

As to the questions:

For women pms is an once a month thing but the men I've known with this type of behavior, it's their way of life on a daily basis.

I call them "man bitches", totally disgusting.  One would believe they needed some sanitary supplies  smiley

RomanceRe: You Lied To Your Interest About Being African/nigerian? by Imari(f): 5:46am On Apr 02, 2011
Yield:
Sad, but true. But I think any informed person would know that just because they've heard stories about Nigerians and scamming, doesn't mean every other Nigerian out there does it too. I wouldn't want to be involved with anyone who's prejudiced and narrow-minded like that anyway, so if I meet someone and upon hearing I'm Nigerian he decides to walk, he can do just that. No wahala.  =p
That's just it, there are far too many that are not and will not "inform" themselves and would rather rely on the stereotypes that feeds their agenda that they harbor anyway.

Which may be the reasons why so many (of any culture/race/background) hedge/fudge/lie about it in the first place.
RomanceRe: You Lied To Your Interest About Being African/nigerian? by Imari(f): 3:46am On Apr 02, 2011
Just from the media here in the U.S. hearing someone is "Nigerian", scammer immediately comes to mind. I never knew of such until a few years back NBC Dateline did a program about the scammers and their main feature was on Nigerians focusing on Houston and San Antonio Texas.

Then there was recently the case of the daycare where children lost their lives, upon finding that the owner was Nigerian the comments section in the articles online was geared toward disparaging Nigerians as scam artists and little else.

Also, I have plenty of pics of my Nigerian Sweetie and when those outside of my family ask about him and I say he's Nigerian some have said "scammer".
RomanceRe: What Are The Immediate And Remote Causes Miscarriages? by Imari(f): 12:57am On Apr 02, 2011
xgel:
What are the immediate and remote causes miscarriages? How can it be prevented?
There is no set cause to a miscarriage, causes can range from genetics, to poor nutrition, also could include infection, lifestyle, disease, age, and more.

Your doctor might put you on bed rest, limit your activity and no intercourse until you show no signs that a miscarriage might occur, but there is little evidence that this will change the outcome.

More often than not, little can be done to stop a miscarriage.
CultureRe: Africans In America Who Have Decided To Live The "urban" Ghetto Lifestyle by Imari(f): 1:28am On Mar 31, 2011
A.D.M.:
Well, well, well. I see somebody has created another anti-AA thread. You know, I find it funny that some say that absolutely hate group A, but they can't stop talking about group A. If you hate group A so much, why talk about them? Anyway, as some here said this "urban lifestyle" is specific to one group. I've seen black, white, Asian, and so-called "Latino" (they are not actual Latinos) youngsters with the "urban" behavior. Is it unfortunate? Yes. However, one person's actions do not determine the behavior of an entire group.
Actually, the OP made the distinction that it was not typical of ALL AA but "some" as the word that was used and that it was a "stereotypical" way that many view African Americnas.

If not for that distinction I would have taken offense as I am a member of that group and it is offensive when ALL AA are singled out in the U.S by the white community, as being "ghetto, hoodrat, crackhead, drug dealers, welfare queens with multiple baby daddies or gang banging thugs" .

You are correct in saying that here in the U.S. every group has those elements but it is the black face that is painted in the picture that is disparaged all the time and is just a way not to look at what's wrong in your very own community.

I have a niece who lives in Dallas, she works with and is friends with a lot of Nigerians.

She always tell stories of how they would say "they want to be like blacks here", the way they party, dress etc. She is maid of honor for her best friends wedding and as for as the plans I have heard it will be exactly something an American would have.  Although I admit that I am in no way familiar with if an Nigerian wedding differs.

I just see it as emulating what's around you while forgetting the way you were reared, and is no different in the AA community here, where kids have not been raised in "the hood" but emulate that behavior in a effort to fit in then they get caught up.

YIM - Yahoo Instant Messenger (Yahoo messaging software application); you should have one since you have a mail account with Yahoo!
Skype - just like YIM, Skype is a software application that allows users to make free calls, chat (with share screen and video functions), send/receive documents, et al. . .
Thanks

That's personal body action between you & your lady.

I can't instruct on that one on one.

But you would "suck" at getting it on with Eminem in the background.

I don't even know any of his music, tsk

You're a grown man aren't ya'?

Anywho, I gave hints to what I would consider "the magic" in other posts in this thread, but I'll play along.

The mood music, although you say you can't dance you can hold your lady close and move to the music can't ya?

How about skipping the meal and going straight for the desert, which can be romantic when you fed your Sweet the sweets.

What of the cuddling while having a quiet talk, music playing in the background.

Hope that's enough for you to "pick up" from there.  wink

sule sule

You are a gorgeous young lady.

I was just reading your thread with no intent to comment but something you posted prompted my to add my 2 cents.

Is it because you don't give in to demands that the boys leave you?

If that is the case

To hell with them anyway

You've got it all and the right one with want it all at the right time.

If not the advice still stands

You seem to know how to have fun keep it up.
