The sad reality is that Nigeria governance pattern encourages office abuse. The occupant of the office is always bigger than the office itself, zero checks & balances hence the reason anything goes. It's just a matter of individualism & conscience. Even in political parties the elected person automatically becomes the number one party leader because he bankrolls the party. Until there is a system that enable an individual to be subjected to the system, the country isn't going anywhere.
