Ireportlive:This simply shows a weak system & structure, and a country that is very far from getting it right. How can zones even be a factor to a national police recruitment in the place of merit. ![]() |

Hegato:He can only get that in Niaja. |

What will people say has caused more harm than good especially when you're at the receiving end. Your dad is slow to action because of his sister not necessarily the boy. It's very risky to accommodate who you never raised from childhood, one can't be certain of what they might have been exposed to. |
NigeriaIsGreat:Well, Buhari had similar experience until Tinubu rebranded the process for him. And now, it is clear that he only wanted that title and the enjoyment that comes with it and never had governance in mind. So people shouldn't be moved by the same empathy. Tinubu on the other hand isn't his main challenge as you quoted but Peter Obi. If Peter Obi had remained with him, Tinubu won't stand a chance. Nevertheless, not until after election, no one can be certain of victory as this current election is keenly contested. And the most fascinating thing is that it won't be an easy win for any of them. And the governance itself won't be an easy task for the winner as bubu has destroyed everything & returned the country back to 600 years. |
NigeriaIsGreat: You're really funny. You are feeling for a billionaire whose generation will never know hunger whether or not he wins, likewise all the other presidential candidates. Those that supported Buhari in the name of party, ethnicity or religion don't buy fuel, food items cheaper, neither are they safer nor enjoying London trips with Buhari for medical. Las las it is the common citizens that will face the music of a wrong choice alone. |

Your reply is what I call a sensible debate as it should be unlike those kids that probably skipped debate section in high school. You clearly cited your points which was against the guy's view without needless insults. I think when a system is well structured to run properly which is largely the role of the government, only then will the employee's behavior towards work be well policed. Although, it is still the government "politicians" that use civil service recruitment as political gratification. |
Pells:Nor forget say you still get japa plan like this oh. And na that same fore father money dem take create job wey you go do there. Even the current politicians loot the money go hide for abroad back. ![]() |
serverconnect:A government that careless about food & health system, is it education that will matter to them. It is finished. |
N3TRAL:I align my thought with yours on this. Kids are naturally inquisitive hence want to dare. I remember a family outing to a swimming park. My boy after playing enough in the children's section, picked interest in the adult section. I drove him back several times yet keep returning. So I insisted he must be on safety jacket before entering. I deliberately wanted him to learn by example. So I put him in, quickly he realized that the school swimming skill he taught he had that was giving him confidence was not enough for depth. He had to plead that he wants to get out. Trust me, that was the last time he ever came close till we left. Only God protects yet some human measures are highly recommended too as you rightly stated. |
ATLIEN2027:If there is no measure of restricting the access to a pool, I don't think it should be sited in a house where kids are because of their inquisitiveness. Second thing I will equally discourage will be allowing kids close to guard dogs or any other wild animals by default which was however domesticated. God protects yet wisdom is profitable. |
RichDad1:Exactly, Nigerians rank very high on this table, iOS & android war come to mind. |
It's a welcome development. If not for corruption we should have long moved passed this level, we should have been talking of exportation of food produce largely to other Africa countries & beyond. |
NuclearReactor:Certainly a good idea as it should be. Civil defense & other private security outfits should engage in body protection service to the politicians & VIP's. Currently, it's the military that is fully doing the work of the police while police are errands boys. I don't trust any Nigeria politicians, they all know exactly what to do to make the country better, after all they travel at will to other countries with a working system, the issue is greed won't allow them do the talk. |
gaby:Yours is good, at least you still have hope. I have long washed my hands off Nigeria ever getting better. I can bet you those guys will be rewarded with political appointments in the federal or state level. If they don't even become state governors that is. |
SmartPolician:All he wanted was to be called president & enjoy the benefits. Same with most of the current presidential candidates, they have no tangible plans for the country neither do they care about the citizens. |
BATified2023:That was the same promise APC made, that made people to chase out PDP. Yet they came on board and continue on the same path, spending more on oil exploration in the north. Increased in oil theft that are done by those in power, etc. Greed will never let politicians do the right thing. |
Okoroawusa:Even a day old baby knows what to do to put the country on the right direction. The major issue is that the current politicians can't be totally trusted because greed has always been their driving force. Just by bring down power to the LGA, those criminals fighting for presidency will naturally reduce. It is easier to closely monitor the LGA which is closer to the people than one terror at Abuja ditching out suffering to the mass. |
Mastakija:. . . .for money. . . . |
jumper524:Too much religiosity is why the country is where it is today. Both christians & Muslims are one in stealing among those in government, even those out of government are not better off in behaviors towards one another. Christians official day of worship as stated in the bible is sabbath which is Saturday, but they moved it to Sunday and it correlated with the day off work and because the British who were the colonial master were "Christians". Saudi Arabia didn't colonized the country. You're calling for more days off when government should be cancelling some of the several religious holidays and removing religion in government. Those who needs to be religious can setup their own businesses. |
Hmmm |
David160:Short and simple answer below. Jennifer663:Meanwhile, is he a noun? Which means a name of animal, place or things?! A fugitive that can't vote. You're the one giving him undue attention. |
Imagine |
A display of much knowledge & confidence hence the ability to use such platform. |
Corridon:Exactly, he would have fielded Osinbajo. |
It's because many believed he is secretly seeking medical care. For me, his whereabout is of no importance, as long as there are several presidential candidates as options. |

Your strategy was to get her into your life with doings. She got attracted and join the boat. It's normal that you keep up the game because that was her main focus. And you never cared, so don't border now because she can't change. Just like Buhari, he got into power with so much lies telling. He will obviously need more lies to remain in power. |
nigerianoakman:He is not a career politician neither among those that have looted the country in their field of endeavour. Those there on merit, sacrifice & true service to humanity are less than 5%. |
Okay |
joelbooks:Even as a chief consultant in the medical field, one still needs to upgrade abroad before fitting into their heath sector. Likewise other regulated discipline there. Las las not all, will even continue in their career path. To think of the money been looted & mismanaged daily, you begin to question the priority of government. And by the way, this is a result of a country where the federal government must handle everything, including roads, school even pilgrimage, etc. What a country! |
