HRprof:Seconded, the truth is many Nigerians are naturally hard working, the problem is the system that doesn't reward hard work yet with less opportunity. Thus those set of people will definitely have a great life abroad. Most Nigerians aren't really seeking the moon or social media illusion but a basic standard of living, a sense of hope, security, opportunity for all and a system that reverence excellence. |
HRprof:Agreed, many are willing to pay through their noses in Nigeria or are already doing so, yet the system offers them nothing. It's more like bribing the system to keep living because you pay taxes, and still arrange for a private security. |
Why did you run there in the first place? And if it was that bad, why haven't you yet reconsider a relocation? Why do you think Nigeria politicians keep their love ones abroad, secure a dual citizenship & consider Nigeria only a place to loot. My advice is in all your getting, get a "passport" that allows you easy movement as long as you can afford the ticket, not one green booklet or jotter that breeds high suspicion & high rate of rejection. |
SETHARTHUR:He is yet to be awoken to more reality of life. It's understandable to feel over protective because of previous experience. But when you severe everything because of a hurt, you spoil more things. More like avoiding water totally because a friend once drowned. ![]() |
Tokskob2008:You have said it all, she's just starting to show her real colour. And it won't stop there. Once she succeed with that girl, she will move against the biological ones starting with low key maltreatment if that isn't already the cases. |
Okay |
Okay |
Babaken:You won't understand. A man can lose everything else and live. But the moment hope is lost, he loses everything including life itself. May we not be in that situation at any point in our lives. The reality is that majority of people are just existing in Nigeria currently, few are surviving by the day and only a handful are actually living. |
Babaken:It's not about heart. It takes a dying man to make that move. Like the cribble in the bible "If we stay here, we will die of hunger or go to the enemies camp to eat and live, and if they catch us we die also". But at least the later has 50/50 chance. Sadly, there is no hope for Nigeria ever getting better. |
Irrespective of whosoever wins, it would have been keenly contested and the winner won't get it cheaply easy like before. Secondly, if bad choice is elected, the suffering will be for all especially those who can't raise Japa funds. And I don't think the urgent 2k gangs will find it that easy to get anymore also. Vote wisely. |
Sad one |
blowjohn: I didn't want to advance the reasons too far beyond his mental capacity. He thinks advance medicine is bitter leaf & groundnut soup. |
ContinuousTortu:Will bubu & his guys join you? |
ThugOfWar:Keep giving yourself false hope while bubu & his gang jet out for world class medical care abroad with the nation's funds. You think the alternative medicine works in isolation or without proper investment/funding in research, training, policies, etc. |
Greyworld:You're even mildly addressing someone with fundamental issues with his thought process. To even use the word leaving or migrating is an understatement well as people are actually fleeing or escaping the country droves. When at least 8 out of 10 especially among the southerners who are better exposed & desiring global opportunities talk about migration, even among those with financial comfort. |
CanadaOrBust: Hope he gets a good counter point. Meanwhile, in the next 50 years or more when the archaeologist come digging, they will only be able to classify the structure of the bones found to either be Adam or Eve in nature. And ironically the same set of people in support of it, are still heavily against polygamy even when the Africa society consider it a culture. Las las, this shouldn't even be Nigeria's problem at the moment, especially in a country that hunger is still a big issue. |
savcy: Running around and making promises to few of national cake sharing wouldn't influence the real voter's choice. After all they will face the consequences alone as usual. Meanwhile, Jonathan had same Tompolo and others. Yet the people were tired of his government, same way they are already tired of APC. |
Christane:How will it work when the value of the Naira is worthless because of poor governance, policies and corruption. #5, #10, #20 completely gone and #50 currently on it way out. And lastly, they (the politicians & cbn) will print for themselves, share dollars, etc. |
Okay, best wishes in your future endeavors |
Many will now know the real meaning of "so help me God" in the national anthem. |
Nonexisting1:I quite understand your point and the burning desire to ensure economic safety & been protective of ones kids as a parents, especially with the economic reality experienced while trying to build them up. But we equally know that life itself is very unpredictable to the point that just one miscalculated risk and all could be gone & vis a vis. Nevertheless, it's better to equip them with the necessary information inline with how things work very early enough with close followup. Thus giving them the mental ability to make very informed choices in life, at least she wouldn't give herself so cheaply to be inserted and perhaps trying to be deduce into marrying the guy simply because a child is involved. Now given her current situation, the parent should just question her to be sure her choice isn't solely base on the child or that the man isn't trying to use her. Also stating to her that you wouldn't be a financial backup plan in case she doesn't any valid point. |
Ttalk: The guy is really tired of been on exile. |
Richy4:Excess delicious meal won't allow him use his brain. He is comfortably there 4 times a week, he would have just park in permanently. He is obviously running from chores at home & increasing the uncle's budget. His uncle planned his family according to the expected income with few contingencies. |
Tell us more stories please. At least the one bubu & his friends didn't say during 2015 election. I am still thinking how anyone will change the system that have made them billionaires into a better system given the fact that they will lose money in a working. ![]() |
The Dubai based Nigeria big boy is a regular INEC campaign customer. He is determined to win their award for the most regular customer of all time. ![]() |
Sleekfingers: Mandate2023:No one deceived us into our choice of voting. What we hate passionately is for one individual to try to make himself a political deity. If we were to allow that, at least the priviledge would have been given to Ogbemudia and not this current crop of undeserving politicians. There is a reason the Benis resisted the white folks despite the obvious consequences. Oshiomhole was massively supported against the likes of Igbins, Annenih, etc. His choice of successor was equally supported despite doing nothing in his second tenure. He enjoyed a free hand during his government. He can't be a godfather to Obaseki just because he helped him into power. That was the singular act that influenced our voting, else he would be tempted to continue to decide who gets what in Edo political space even as a none majority in the state. Secondly, he made several remarks against Ize-iyamu only for him to think we should throw that all out because of his interest, he would have picked another candidate instead. Even the Ize-iyamu would have had a better chance of winning if he had remained in PDP because we vote individuals over parties. The same measure will be used against Obaseki when he is done. So your Lagos can be whatever, after all there are several federal institutions, yet the income generated is still far from the developmental reality on ground. So leave our Edo for us. |
Most of those guys are criminals legalized by government with a uniform & arm. |
ibrahimabba7: WibusJaga: |
lhordspy: He is not a threat yet it has always been Peter Obi vs others. More like the big politicians vs the people. Something doesn't seems right especially when this politicians that have never had good intention for the people are now united to fight one person. It keeps me thinking the exact thing they are so afraid of ![]() |
habsydiamond:The first problem is to get into an organized society without legal status. |
The government weaponized poverty for their own interest and allowing quality education will spoil their plans. They don't need an enlightened society that will be bold & informed enough to question their wrong doings. Meanwhile, someone was awol for over 6 months as president yet got full salaries & benefits. |
